I wanna fall with you again MICHAEL JACKSON

June 25, 2011

It is two years since he passed away. It is painful to realize now that for more than a decade before his death we were conceited enough to think we could do without Michael – while now every year of being apart from him has become difficult to bear.

There is so much to say to him now… So many words of encouragement and true love that many of us developed for him only after his death. Oh, how we would want to bring him back to say to him a word of support and understanding he never heard from us when he was alive!

If only we could.

But life is going on. People are laughing and enjoying themselves. I hear the music playing outside and listening to it cannot understand where life is going to – forward or backward. The flattened dull rhythm with no lyrics, which the young are so crazy about, makes your mind dumb and your gaze fixed on nothing. What a far cry it is from Michael rich and fantastic melodies, unique rhythm and meaningful lyrics where almost every word opened the door to a different reality! The whole of it looked and sounded like fireworks which encouraged, thrilled and turned life into a bliss…

It is impossible to imagine it that only one person was making so much difference to the world. And he didn’t even live his life to the full – no, they stopped him, thinking that we would forget and do without.

And we did forget and do without, and it is only now that we are realizing what we were devoid of all this time. Even music has become unbearably artificial and plastic-like in his absence! He wouldn’t have allowed it if he had remained what he was…

Something is definitely missing now. Something true, brilliant and live, something warming our hearts and touching our souls. This emptiness came into lives long ago, only we didn’t notice it due to our arrogance and feeling of self-righteousness. Imagine how much richer our life could have been if they hadn’t stopped him… I mean long time ago and not only in 2009 when they just made their finishing touch.

I thought that this nostalgia would dull a bit with time. But no, it isn’t quite like that – the more you learn of his innocent and pure soul,  his generous, vivacious and childlike nature the more you miss him and his qualities in life. Only now you begin understanding how much you need him for us to carry on…..

I roamed the internet for hours hoping for something that could bring him closer to us on this day. And I have found a fine, really fine video which deserves to be an official video for one of Michael’s best, greatest, man-of-genius songs, called ‘Fall again’. I am posting it here hoping that it will probably help to bring him back to us at least for several moments of our lives.

And I don’t really know whether it is him talking of missing his love or us thinking about our nostalgia for him and crying our soul out…

Ooooooooo…

Feels like a fire that burns in my heart
Every single moment that we spend apart
I NEED YOU AROUND FOR EVERY DAY TO START
I haven’t left you alone

Something about you, STARING IN YOUR EYES
And everything I’m looking for I SEEM TO FIND
All this TIME AWAY is killing me inside
I NEED YOUR LOVE IN MY LIFE

I wanna spend time till it ends

I WANNA FALL WITH YOU AGAIN

Like we did when we first met                                               I wanna fall with you again

WE FOUGHT IN A BATTLE, BUT NOBODY WON
Left ourselves a mountain to be overcome
You can’t run away, the past is said and done
I NEED US TO CARRY ON

I wanna spend time till it ends
I wanna fall with you again
LIKE WE DID WHEN WE FIRST MET
I wanna fall with you again

You’ll try everything
You never thought it before
WHEN YOU LIVE, WHEN YOU LOVE, AND YOU GIVE THEM YOUR ALL
You can always give up some more

Nothing means anything
Unless you’re here to share with me
I CAN BREATHE, I CAN BLEED, I CAN DIE IN MY SLEEP
Cause you’re always there in my dreams

I WANNA SPEND TIME TILL IT ENDS
I wanna fall with you again
Like we did when we first met
I wanna fall with you again

I wanna spend time till it ends
I wanna fall with you again
Like we did when we first met
I WANNA FALL WITH YOU, YOU AGAIN

Ohh…

All that I find here in my heart

(that’s cool.. ooh-aah… great sound)

Michael, we miss you…

I have only recently read this article and found this website. What is written here is exactly what I would have written and how I feel. We truly didn’t know what a gift we had in Michael Jackson. There is none so blind as those who will not see. May God forgive us, and may Michael Jackson Rest In Peace.

Cadeflaw, I think that all Michael’s supporters here have “fallen” with him already. Otherwise it is impossible to understand why we cannot have a moment of quiet until everyone sees what we have been honored to see.

Yes, I want to “Fall Again” with Michael. Oh if only I could. He will forever live in my heart. Those words to “Fall Again” are truly beautiful. I can think of no other artist who truly loved his fans. What a blessing and a wonderful fellowship. I miss you Michael but I’m so happy you rest in the bosom of your Lord and Savior. I love you MOST.

Thanks a lot, guys, for all the information. I am glad that I am “enlightened” now. I just didn’t want to read Halperins book.

Or did he write exactly about this alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency?

Yup, that was exclusively revealed in Halperin’s book. The doctor might be the same one quoted there too. That was the reason he gave for MJ having 6 months to live.

MJ didn’t have that disease. Doctors say all kinds of things in the media about subjects they do not have any first hand info on and which their info is based solely on tabloid reports. A French doctor recently wrote an entire book using the premise that Michael Jackson hormonally castrated himself using acne medication – almost every single fact that the French doctor uses to back up his case is inaccurate and could easily have been fact checked even via youtube or google (he admits he never spoke to any doctors or anyone in Michael’s life at all), but he didn’t let that get in the way of publishing it and having even the Guardian report about it.

    @ Susane

Halperin made up that Michael had alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency. It was also Halperin who claimed he couldn’t talk and needed a lung transplant etc. All that was a lie. Unfortunately the medical expert of this blog takes this lie as a fact (even using some claims by Halperin word by word – which proves this person took the “information” from Halperin’s article) and then describes this condition medically. That his description of the condition is accurate doesn’t mean Michael indeed had this. He did not. If he had this condition or emphysema (that Halperin also claimed he had) it would have been mentioned in his autopsy.

In my opinion Halperin simply looked up a condition in a medical dictionary at the time and then applied it to Michael. Here is one article that reported Halperin’s claims in December, 2008:
    http://www.spin.com/articles/michael-jackson-suffering-deadly-lung-disease

Here is Roger Friedman refuting Halperin’s claims in December, 2008: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,470985,00.html

(Try to ignore the title and some of the remarks.)

    @rockforeveron:
Thanks for your reply. I know of the rumors Halperin spread before Michael’s death. But I don’t think he had such specific medical knowledge like the doctor who wrote this article, and he certainly had no medical documentation of Michael for his made-up stories. So I am not sure if this article is based on Halperin’s story. Or did he write exactly about this alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency?
But you are certainly right that Michael’s lung problems were caused by lupus and pleurisy. And I know that the autopsy report says his lung damage was not so serious that he could have died from ist. I just wonder how Dr. Reeja Tharu, apparently just an unknown internet doctor, can claim such specific knowledge about Michael’s health condition. If it comes from Halperin’s rumors she must have had figured it out for herself, and so it’s not credible.

    @Susanne

No, that was a story that Ian Halperin put out 6 months before MJ died. He said that if Michael didn’t get a lung transplant within 6 months he would be dead – then Michael died and Ian took the credit, even though Michael didn’t die because of the reason he gave.

MJ’s lung damage was the result of his lupus and the related disease, pleurisy. In 1977 he was diagnosed with a pneumothorax, in ihis autobiography Moonwalk he reveals this was because of pleurisy. He would tell Quincy at the time about “blisters” in his lungs, this is what he was talking about.

Here’s some info about lung damage caused by lupus:

Hi guys, this is off topic, but I wonder if someone has information about it.
Today I had one of those strange occurences that happen quite often since two years. I was at work and had to write an English text for my boss for a medical publication (I am working at a children’s hospital). There was an expression I didn’t know and I googled it: SERPINA 1 gene. Suddenly among the results I discovered something about Michael Jackson. I couldn’t believe it. I looked for it and it was this link: http://blogs.medindia.net/disease-conditions/michael-jackson%E2%80%99s-swan-song-sans-voice/
Well, this was a moment at work where I actually didn’t think of Michael (though I think a lot of him, even at work) and I didn’t expect anything about him in this connection. So you can understand my surprise.
I just would like to know if anyone knows whether this information is true or if this source is trustworthy. I haven’t heard anything about this so far. It would be another illness of Michael I didn’t know about. Perhaps gatorgirl277 could help, but I don’t know how to contact her.

I remember june 25th, 2009 coming home from a long day at school turning on the television and seeing the special report. I hadn’t really followed the events in Michael’s life much after the 2005 trial and had mostly been a casual fan during my lifetime. That momemt though, I felt like I had been punched in the gut. It totally knocked the wind out of me. I couldn’t even tell my mom about it without getting chocked up. I remember just staring at the T.V. thinking “no this can’t be, are they sure”. I wanted so bad for it to be a mistake.

I’ve never felt that way about any other celebrity that had passed and I don’t think I ever will again. Then that jerk anchor Brian Williams keep calling Michael “a very troubled pop star” or something like that. I couldn’t believe how disrespectful some of the reports were in the following days. Shortly after that day was when my passion for the truth was reignited. I vowed to make sure that I found out the truth as much as could regarding Michael life, leaving no stone (that I could access) unturned. What a journey it has been, and it has been well worth it!

I hope everyone was able to focus on positivity yesterday and celebrate Michael’s life and legacy without too much anguish over his passing.

June 25 was the worst day indeed,I remember walking outside the library hearing one of my
colleagues talking about Michael Jackson and whether its true or not ,I asked him what is going on ? he said “its all in the news haven’t you heard,Michael Jackson is dead”
My eyes were full of tears,I felt like someone just punched my stomach real hard, then I went looking for a lie!! yes a lie telling me this is one of the media tricks that they pull everyday.
ironically, this is the only true thing they report on Michael for all his life he had to fight the false allegations in which the media didn’t give him his right to only what happened during the trial,no they went on with their malicious propaganda telling fairy tales about a case which shouldn’t brought into the court and waste the man’s health, money and most of all his precious time spending it with his children and making music ,something we all miss these days with all the new so called artists, fulling their so called albums with such noise and heavy tones into the new generation.

Michael Jackson left us the music, the dance, the charities that we should help and full everyone who needs love and support, he left beautiful, intelligent and polite children, his kids in my opinion is the truly representative of the man who got crushed many times and questioned about his sexual orientation many times, they wondered how could he have such children, how could he have any children!!!! many and many disgusting manipulative comments I’ve heard during his life.
Michael Jackson was a great, loving and caring father,he played with his children ,fed them ,dress them and enjoyed the time he spend with them watching TV or playing with his kids, something these days fathers lacks which is just enjoying the time they spend with their children, they spend it as they have to not that they want to,you know?
I felt for Michael when I was 8 and I was attacked when I defended him during his trial when I was in high school infront of many students and even teachers, one teacher I respected what she said about the allegations in 2005,she said ” If you are allegedly molested and your rights were violated then why on earth would you or you parents go to a lawyer for civil lawsuits instead going to the police?”
She is a mother and in her right mind she knew what kind of parents Janet Arvizo, Evan Chandler or Blanka Francia were.
Helena ,Thank you so much for this incredible moving piece which warms the heart and makes us think of man who once was with his children, his family and his fans.

Michael Jackson will always matter. Not because of the music, or because he could dance or even because he helped thousands, more likely millions, of people in ways people cannot conceive — and still does.

He matters because no life should end prematurely, and especially not a life that was lived with such grace, love and spiritual integrity.

Michael made everyone feel as if they mattered. How amazing is that? How truly amazing is that to accomplish in a life where the pulls on his time and attention must have been immense?

    Thank you for this post.

The lyrics to the new song “All in your name”:

    Now I got a mission
    The story unfolds
What the wise men have told you, is already known
That a woman and a man
    Should go by the plan
And we find out how high we can fly

    There’s just one religion
    One family of love
    We suffer the children
    As God cries above
And the giving, not the taking
    With hearts open wide
And it looks like we fall
And it burns like a flame
    Any ground that I claim

    So what is my life
    If I don’t believe
There is someone to watch me
    Follow my dreams
Take all my chances, like those who dare
    And what of our world
    What does it become
    When the damage is done
And you held out, you said no, you stand up

    (Michael)
    Only God knows
That it’s all in the game
    It’s all in your name
Carry me to the gates of paradise
    They’re the same
    It’s all in your name

    (Barry)
    Look to Heaven
    An angel of peace
    To love and protect us
    Through all of our tears
    And the gateway to peace
    It stands open wide
And it looks like we fall
And it burns like a flame
    Any ground that I claim

    So what is my life
    If I don’t believe
There is someone to watch me
    Follow my dreams
Take all my chances, like those who dare
    And where is the peace
    We’re searching for
    Under the shadows of war
Can we hold out, and stand up, and say no

    (Michael)
    Only God knows
That it’s all in the game
    It’s all in your name
Follow me to the gates of paradise
    They’re the same
    It’s all in your name

    (Barry)
    ???
    Love you, and understand you
    ???
    will they all know (?)

    (Michael)
    It’s over

    (Barry)
    Then we’ll all know(?)

    (Michael)
    It’s over

    (Michael)
    see? that it’s done(?)

    (Barry)
And it’s all in your name

    (Michael)
    It’s all in the game
    It’s all in your name
Follow me through the gates of paradise
    They’re the same {yeah yeah, yeah yeah}

    It’s all in the game
    It’s all in your name
Follow me through the gates of paradise
    They’re the same
    They’re the same {yeah yeah}

    It’s all in the game
    It’s all in your name
Follow me through the gates of paradise
    They’re the same

“Behind the Mask” is an interesting one. It was originally written by Chris Mosdell and Ryuichi Sakamoto from the Yellow Magic Orchestra in 1979. This is the original:

Then Quincy Jones brought it to Michael’s attention who wrote additional lyrics and melody to it and that became his version that we have on the album “Michael”. It didn’t make it to “Thriller” so Michael gave it to his keyboardist, Greg Phillinganes who recorded it for his solo album:

Then Phillinganes worked with Eric Clapton who brought it to his attention and Clapton too recorded it for his 1986 album “August”:

Then Sakamoto (the original writer) too recorded it again on his 1986 album – but this time Michael’s version (just like the ones recorded by Phillinganes and Clapton were Michael’s version too) instead of the original and he credited Michael as co-writer:

For those of you who have ever asked yourself “Did MJ or The Jackson 5 write this song,or is it a cover of someone else’s song?“, I’ve got the perfect website for you!

It’s called “Who’s Sampled Who”, and it compiles a list of nearly every sample and cover of every song in all genres of music! I was blown away at how detailed and well researched it is. They have the videos of the songs included in the site (for the most part), so you can listen to the songs right then and there.

For example, here is a list of all 47 of the songs that the Jackson 5 covered while they were at Motown (they didn’t have any covers on their post-Motown albums). By the way, a cover is when you sing someone else’s song word for word, while a sample is when you use certain elements of another person’s song, such as the beat, the melody, the chorus, etc. (SWV’s “Right Here” samples “Human Nature”, for example, and Mariah Carey covered “I’ll Be There”.)

    http://www.whosampled.com/covers/The%20Jackson%205/

Here are 83 covers of songs of the Jackson 5 by other artists. “I Want You Back” was covered by 25 different artists!

    http://www.whosampled.com/covered/The%20Jackson%205/

Here are the 21 songs by other artists that were covered by MJ, almost all of them as a child on Motown. Unfortunately, they made a mistake by including the songs “Fly Away”, “This Is It”, and “Behind The Mask” on this list, as those were ORIGINALLY recorded by MJ and then covered by other artists before MJ released them.

    http://www.whosampled.com/covers/Michael%20Jackson/

And here is the list of the whopping 195 covers of MJ songs, with Billie Jean leading the way with 22 covers!

    http://www.whosampled.com/covered/Michael%20Jackson/

If you really want to see how far reaching MJ’s influence over the music industry is, check out the list of the astronomical 360 samples (and counting!) of MJ’s music!

    http://www.whosampled.com/sampled/Michael%20Jackson/

When you guys get the chance, you should look through those lists and be prepared to be surprised at which songs MJ covered, and vice versa! I was personally shocked when I heard the R&B group Silk cover “The Lady In My Life” from their 2006 album. I think they did the song justice! Since Silk didn’t release it as a single, I wouldn’t have known about this without that site!

Here’s a song that MJ covered that most people think he originally recorded; it’s “Girlfriend”, which was originally recorded by Paul McCartney and his group Wings in 1978. Gee, I wonder whose version is better? LOL!

Think of this as your official Black Music Month history lesson! 🙂

    Hello Vindicate and everyone:

I just want to express my deep gratitude to every investigator/researcher here for all the tremendous work you do on behalf of Michael. I can’t explain it, but the pain is still as intense as June 25, 2009. I don’t let anyone know how much Michael’s passing bothers me, because I think they would think I was crazy. But it really bothers me a lot. I feel I have lost my brother.

Your site is doing a fantastic job in providing much needed facts and analysis of what was done to Michael. Because it was never covered fairly in the media, I never truly understood about the settlement situation until David explained all the detailed facts in his post. So when people assume Michael’s guilt because of the settlement of the civil suit, I refer them to David’s article to enlighten them. . I think that the cleansing of Michael’s name will come from folks like you, who are doing so much work to get the truth of what was done to Michael. I just wish that some of his family members would get their facts correct before they speak to the media. It amazes me that some of his own family members still don’t know all the facts. I wonder if they are aware of your site.

Thank you so much, Love and Hugs to all.

Thanks, Helena, for this wonderful post. I love the song very much and saved it only recently on my computer ’cause I don’t have the Ultimate Collection. It is so true for me as well that it is too late to give my respect to Michael and apologize for not caring enough as long as he lived.
I wish to tell you that I love very much the Suite of J.S. Bach (whom I also adore as one of the greatest musicians of all times and a man of great faith) you put on “About the Blog”, and also the words you wrote there because it is exactly my story. I sometimes feel so down just for being too late with all my knowledge about Michael. That’s why I try everything I can to clean his name today. And I feel it will never stop.
However, I am happy that I met many wonderful people on this journey since two years, and Michael brought us all together. So we are all one today in memory of Michael!

David, I am awed by your knowledge! Then, considering what you’ve said, the song “Fall again” should be in Michael’s collection of his Gold.

However you understand that it is not only because of its exceptional quality that I posted it here. For me (and many of us here) it is like falling in love with Michael again after so many years of him being shunned, ostracized and taken away from us. And it is such a cruel thing that love is returning so late – late for him and for us.

Yes, of course MJ’s version was the best! It’s too bad he never finished that song (or at least I don’t think he did). If he did, I’m sure he added more instruments to the beat, the same way he did for “The Way That You Love Me” on the “Michael” album from last year.

MJ wrote a lot of his own song, especially on Dangerous, HIStory, and Invincible, but like most artists he also had songwriters who worked with him. Can you IMAGINE what MJ’s career would be like without “Rock With You”, “Off The Wall”, “Baby Be Mine”, “Lady In My Life”, “Thriller”, or “Someone In the Dark”? Most fans would be HORRIFIED at the thought of some mediocre artist singing those songs! By the way, although Temperton wrote “Thriller”, MJ wrote the original version of that song, “Starlight Love”. It’s a good thing he decided to change it up, huh? LOL!

Unlike a lot of other A-list artists, MJ wrote many of his hit songs, such as “Billie Jean”, “Beat It”, “Will You Be There”, “Don’t Stop Till You Get Enough”, “Smooth Criminal”, and many others. .And, unlike a lot of other A-list artists, he was always willing to work with up-and-coming producers and songwriters. For example, in 1982 he worked with a newcomer named Michael Sembello, who wrote “Carousel”, and it would have made the “Thriller” album if there would have been enough space for it!

In 1987 he worked with a young lady named Siedah Garret, who wrote one of the greatest songs of all time, “Man In The Mirror”.

In 1990. he started working with this young producer named Teddy Riley, who produced most of the “Dangerous” album (and a lot of MJ’s unreleased songs, such as “Joy”, which his group Blackstreet covered in 1994. We’ll hear MJ’s version one day).

For his “HIStory” album, there was this new R&B singer who just burst unto the scene, and his name was R. Kelly, who wrote 3 MJ classics: “You Are Not Along”, “Cry”, and “One More Chance” (and who knows how many unreleased songs they have together!).

Finally, on Invincible, MJ met another up-and-coming singer from a group called Floetry, and that singer wrote the song “Butterflies”. MJ never felt that he was too “big” to work with new artists and producers, and he reaped the benefits of their talent!

When you listen to all of those songs (with the exception of “Joy”, as MJ’s version is still unreleased), it’s easy to see why MJ’s versions are far and away SUPERIOR to the original version! His voice and cadence simply cannot be duplicated or rivaled!

As you can see, my knowledge of MJ’s music is probably greater than my knowledge of the allegations! I could probably give Joe Vogel a run for his money! LOL!

David, I must say that the other two are not as impressive as Michael’s. They clearly took the same musical arrangement but it doesn’t produce that impression anyway. Every song should find the right artist.

I looked up Wiki as regards ‘Fall again’ and was surprised to learn in the process that many Michael’s famous songs were not written by him. Thriller, for example.

But it was his unique elegance and class which brought a very special touch to all songs he produced, not to mention his singing (which I am opening to myself only now).

Fall again comes in the Ultimate collection, in disc 4:

“I seem to miss Michael more with each passing day because I find out, yet some other extraordinary kindness he did for others that was buried by the media..:…so brilliant, so kind, beautiful inside and out..the regret that i feel because i had no idea of the magnitude of the torment this sweet soul was put through , almost for sport..it is just very painful.”

Nan, absolutely….We had no idea of the magnitude of that torment. And when you think that it is finally it, here comes another lawsuit, another crazy allegation, another of those lies. It looks like they found fault with the fact that he lived at all.

Hugs to all of you on this sad day.

Mine started with a miracle. It played “Fall again” on its own – just when I pressed ‘power’ on my computer! Of course it was some technical problem but it sent me into a torrent of tears anyway. It is like hearing him say hello to you.

“If your presence does not add value to life, then your absence will not matter”

    Dial, so well-said!
Michael’s presence not only added value to life – it was indispensable to it.

Did you guys know that an singer named Glenn Lewis also covered the song “Fall Again”? Here is his version:

Robin Thicke is the singer/songwriter who wrote the song and gave it to MJ. Here is his version of it, and it features the renowned saxophonist Kenny G!!

    Helena,

Absolutely beautiful. I am borrowing words from my Goddaughter.

“If your presence does not add value to life, then your absence will not matter”

Michael added value, he did and still does matter.
