Michael Jackson’s Siblings Demand Estate Executors Resign. DO THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING?

July 20, 2012

This is a short note as I have noticed the news only just now.

It is amazing how easily people fall victims to malicious gossip and unfounded hysteria.

I am talking about the letter sent to the Estate by part of the Jacksons’ family and cannot believe that people can be confused and brainwashed to such a degree.

Why would they want to do it? Especially now?

Jackson Family Demands Estate Executives Resign
(18-7-2012) On Tuesday, the executives of the Estate of Michael Jackson received a scathing letter signed by several of Michael Jackson’s siblings. The letter demanded that John Branca and John McClain resign immediately.
In the letter, the Jackson family accuse the executors of falsifying a legal document in order to gain control of Michael’s estate against his wishes and using the court to seal any documents that might prove otherwise.

“Since the passing of Michael, our beloved brother, you have failed to perform your duties as executors of his estate, but what you have not failed at is taking advantage of a grieving mother, father and a grieving family,” says the Jackson’s letter. ”Our brother told us, in no uncertain terms and without hesitation in the months prior to his death, that he despised both of you and that he did not want either of you to have anything to do with his life or estate for that matter.”

The letter goes on to point out what the family insist are inconsistencies, as well as alleged missing pages of Michael Jackson’s will.

“John Branca, when we called you regarding the Will you didn’t want to interrupt your vacation,” the family contends.”You said you wouldn’t return for four days, at which time you presented to our family an incomplete Will.”

“The Will that you presented did not have our brother’s signature on it, nor did it have a signature page attached to it. When asked about the missing signature page, John Branca replied, ‘it was on its way, and you were having just a little problem finding it.’”

“Amongst many other inconsistencies in the Will, there is also a conflict around Michael’s location on the day he supposedly signed the Will, July 7, 2002. We have evidence that undoubtedly supports and proves that Michael was absolutely not in Los Angeles, California, on the date of his signature reflected in the Will at-hand.”

The letter also threatens to escalate the family’s claims to police in order to launch a full investigation.

We are going to take every appropriate action to seek justice and to see to it that the truth be known,” the letter states.

“You’ve dishonored everything that our brother Michael stood for. Your greed and hasty business decisions have shown that you have no regard for the preservation of his legacy, nor the quality of work that he exemplified.”

The letter, which appears to be signed by sisters, Janet and Rebbie, as well as brothers Tito, Jermaine, and Randy, accuse the exeecutors of robbing Michael’s children and his mother of rightful inheritances by increasing the percentage of the gross income the executors receive from the estate, as well as mismanaging projects the estate undertakes.

Additionally, the letter accuses Branca and McCalin of manipulating the court system during Michael’s mother’s wrongful death lawsuit against AEG, the entertainment company behind the superstar’s final tour.
The Jacksons say AEG is using “heinous and heartless threats” against Jackson’s 82-year-old mother — who they reveal recently had a “mini-stroke” — to call off the suit.

“AEG has been very vocal about how they are going to destroy her and her family publicly and blame her for Michael’s death,” the family says.

“However, you did not hesitate writing a letter to Judge Palazuelos presiding over the AEG wrongful death case, wherein, you asked the judge to keep ALL documents handed over by AEG for discovery under court seal, clearly protecting AEG, but not protecting our mother nor our niece and nephews Paris, Prince and Blanket,” the letter contends.

“Who are you working for? What is it that you don’t want to be known?”

“We know there is most certainly a conspiracy surrounding our brother’s death and now coarse manipulation and fear are being used to cover it up.”

Noticeably, and curiously, missing from the group of signatures on the letter are Michael’s other siblings Jackie, Marlon and his outspoken sister LaToya Jackson, who has been quite vocal in her belief of a conspiracy.

Randy Jackson is said to have confirmed the letter to be authentic.

So some of the Jacksons family demand that the Estate lawyers should resign? I don’t know much about John Branca and John McClain except that they are doing a marvelous job for Michael, but cannot help exclaiming – and who are they going to replace these lawyers with? Characters like Tohme Tohme who was once introduced to Michael by someone from the family and the result is well-known to everyone?

What makes these Jacksons so sure that the people they will find will do a job better than Branca, for example? Or will they take it upon themselves to repay the outstanding Michael’s debts? And manage his finances?

But have they proven themselves to be the people of sound judgment and good business acumen, capable of taking decisions in the matter? Or do they hope to find someone better than Branca to do the job for Michael? And can there be anyone better at all?

In short, what do the Jacksons want? Are they sure that they themselves know it?

Can they foresee the results of what they are asking for? Or is it only a near-sighted and emotional outbreak instigated by some well-wishers from behind their backs?

And how do they know that these well-wishers wish them well at all?

The MJ Fan Club site where I found this news added the following information on the letter:

More On Jackson Sibling Letter To Estate

(18-7-2012) The recent controversy involving the scathing letter sent from Michael Jackson’s siblings to his estate executors have caused his daughter, Paris, 14, to take to her Twitter account to weigh in.
The letter, sent by Janet, Tito, Randy, Jermaine and Rebbie Jackson, suggested that their mother Katherine had recently suffered a “mini-stroke.” However, according to Paris, this is not the case.
The teenager tweeted: “i am going to clarify right now that what has been said about my grandmother is a rumor and nothing has happened, she is completely fine.”
The Jackson’s letter accuses John Branca and John McClain, executors of the Estate of Michael Jackson, of abusing their 82-year-old mother through lies and manipulations.

“Your actions are affecting her health, and on top of that, we’ve just found out she recently had a mini-stroke. Please understand, she’s not equipped to handle the stress load you are putting on her,” her children said. “She feels, as she has said, ‘I’m stuck in the middle.’ She too knows and acknowledges the will was forged. She wants to do the right thing, and move in the direction of justice for her son and family, yet she fears the POWERS THAT BE.”
Perry Sanders, an attorney for Katherine Jackson, denied that the family matriarch is in poor health.
“Mrs. Jackson is extremely lucid and does a great job caring for Michael’s children,” Sanders said Wednesday.

In the letter, the Jackson siblings also attacked Sanders, their mother’s manager, Lowell Henry, and adviser Trent Jackson for discouraging her from joining their challenge of the will’s validity.

“Instead, her so-called advisers are convincing her to let them negotiate ‘deals’ with Branca and McClain on her behalf, or is it on the behalf of all of you,” they wrote. “Her advisers’ loyalty seems to be skewed by the percentage you offer them, preventing them from advising her properly.”
Sanders responded by saying he’s always been available to “speak with or meet with any of Mrs. Jackson’s children to answer any questions they might have. It is unfortunate that they haven’t taken me up on the offer.”

He continued, “Anyone who actually knows me knows my only loyalty in this matter is to Mrs. Jackson, and the public record of my success for her speaks for itself.” He pointed to success in paying off her $14 million civil court judgment to a South Korean company, persuading the estate not to sell the family’s Hayvenhurst mansion and “helping get her family allowance increased almost tenfold, to name a few.”
The siblings’ letter told the estate executors they have “dishonored everything our brother stood for,” and that they would “take every appropriate action to seek justice.”
“Be informed, we are considering retaining a law firm, Baker Hostetler, who have advised us on the potential criminal misconduct in your actions. We will hand this over to proper authorities,” they wrote.
As reported earlier, the estate responded with a statement, which you can read here.

The estate responded with a statement:

STATEMENT From Estate Regarding Jackson Letter

(18-7-2012) MJFC received the following statement from the Estate of Michael Jackson regarding the Jackson family’s letter:

Any doubts about the validity of Michael’s will and his selection of Executors were thoroughly and completely debunked two years ago when a challenge was rejected by the Los Angeles County Superior Court, the California Court of Appeals and, finally, the California Supreme Court.

Under the supervision of Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff, Co-Executors John Branca and John McClain have diligently carried out their fiduciary duties as well as their obligation to Michael to make sure that his Estate benefits the only family members he named in his will – his mother and his three children.

We are saddened that false and defamatory accusations grounded in stale Internet conspiracy theories are now being made by certain members of Michael’s family, whom he chose to leave out of his will. We are especially disheartened that they come at a time when remarkable progress has been made to secure the financial future of his children by turning around the Estate’s finances as well as during a time when so many of Michael’s fans, old and new, are enjoying his artistry through exciting new projects.

The Estate is indeed doing a superb job for Michael. Their job is to effectively manage Michael’s finances and provide for his three children and mother and their future. Few will doubt that they are doing it in a brilliant way.

As to their approach to the lawsuit filed by Katherine Jackson against AEG time will show what it will be like. The fact that the documents handed over by AEG were asked by the Estate to be kept under court seal (if this is true at all) may have both good and bad points about it. It might not be too bad considering the media’s ability to blow out of proportion every AEG’s innuendo, but on the other hand all of us would very much like to know with what hands AEG people were doing their unclean business with Michael Jackson.

If AEG is indeed “using heinous and heartless threats” against Michael’s mother now and is “vocal in how they are going to destroy her and the family” then our own conclusions about this company being a horrible monster are not far from the truth.

However you cannot get to the bottom of the matter without cleaning away the dirt first. God help Katherine Jackson (and us) to cope with everything that stands in the way to the shining truth.

Here is the latest newsletter from MJ Truth Now:

The Truth About Michael Jacksn’s Will
    August 2012 #2

MJ Truth Now is comprised of an editorial team of individuals whose primary goal is advocacy for Michael Jackson. It is a fully collaborative team that is dedicated to bringing factual information to people with an interest in Michael Jackson. Topics of interest are researched and discussed and ultimately agreed upon by the team. No one person is responsible for the content and each communication frequently has several contributors.

The recent newsletter wherein we addressed the issue of Michael Jackson’s Will is no exception. MJ Truth Now received several e-mails, both positive and negative, in response to our last newsletter. It is apparent that due to clerical discrepancies in the Will, some people feel that Michael Jackson’s siblings have a case for fraud. We at MJ Truth Now feel differently based on the factual information available and stand by our recent communication on the topic.

We would like to draw your attention to an article by Forbes Magazine’s Zack O’Malley Greenburg. Mr. O’Malley Greenburg writes about the business aspect of entertainment and music for Forbes Magazine. In his writing in Forbes, Zach has been consistently respectful of Michael, his business acumen, and his business affairs. In his article, “The Scandalously Boring Truth About Michael Jackson’s Will,” he discusses four of Michael Jackson’s Wills from 1995, 1997, March 2002 and July 2002. All the wills share two consistencies: Katherine Jackson and all of Michael’s children as beneficiaries and John Branca as Executor. Neither Michael’s father, Joe, nor his siblings are mentioned in any of those wills.

The facts cited in the Forbes article reiterate what was stated in the last MJ Truth Now newsletter, including the date and location issues that are frequently cited as examples of fraud by both the Jackson siblings and some members of the MJ fan community. Michael Jackson also had a Michael Jackson Family Trust where all of his assets reside and which contains the specific detail regarding Michael’s wishes.

In addition, we would like to share with you several links to videos that other Michael Jackson advocates have provided to us. Part 1 focuses on how Wills work in the state of California. Part 2 focuses specifically on Michael Jackson’s Will.

Is Michael Jackson’s will valid…or not? Part 1

Is Michael Jackson’s will valid…or not? Part 2

The team at MJ Truth Now has always tried to bring the most factual and updated information that we have available to us. We, of course, have our own opinions about many things as do all members of the Michael Jackson community, but of one thing we are all sure, it is our admiration and dedication to Michael Jackson.

MJ Truth Now would like to close with an article published recently in the Examiner, “Summer-Song Rhapsody for Michael Jackson: Editorial With Poem” by Aberjhani. It is at times like these that we must all be reminded of how Michael viewed the world and how we are all better for it. Mr. Aberjhani understands fully why we are all here and writes about it beautifully.

“And just to be clear, to speak of Jackson’s voice is to speak of more than the acoustic timbre that radiated like vibrating sunlight from his lungs and heart and throat. It is to acknowledge that quality of genius for giving, living, serving, teaching, loving, exemplifying simplicity, and creating– that comprised the essence of everything he strived to become.”

The Scandalously Boring Truth About Michael Jackson’s Will

Will Power: Despite recent controversy, The King of Pop’s will is in no real danger of being overturned.

More than three years after his untimely death, Michael Jackson continues to make headlines—most recently as a result of a controversy over his will this summer. A few of his siblings labeled the document “false” and “fraudulent”; representatives for his estate countered by saying, “We are saddened that false and defamatory accusations grounded in stale Internet conspiracy theories are now being made by certain members of Michael’s family whom he chose to leave out of his will.”

Unfortunately for news hounds, the scandalous truth about Michael Jackson’s will is that there isn’t really much of a scandal, from a legal perspective. Last week FORBES obtained a copy of the latest will from the Los Angeles Superior Court (as others have before) and separately viewed three previous versions of the will, all of which are remarkably consistent and serve to confirm the boring reality: The will is in no real danger of being overturned, and even if it were, it would be replaced by a virtually identical previous version.

“If a later will is found to be invalid … the last will prior would be given full force and effect,” confirms Andrew Katzenstein, a partner at law firm Proskauer, who teaches the Estate and Gift Tax class at the University of Southern California.

Michael Jackson’s postmortem plans haven’t changed much over the years. His 1995 will names John Branca, Bert Mitchell and Marshall Gelfand as co-executors. Like all subsequent versions of the will, it specifies that the King of Pop’s interests be placed in an entity known as the Michael Jackson Family Trust, which stipulates the following distribution: 20% to charity, and the remainder split between a lifetime trust for Michael’s mother, Katherine Jackson, and a trust for any children Michael might have. Upon Katherine’s death, any remaining funds would revert to the children.

The second will, dated December 10th, 1997, also names Branca and Mitchell as co-executors of Michael Jackson’s estate, but replaces Marshall Gelfand with banker Jane Heller. The distribution under the trust remains the same. Michael’s first child—Prince Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., born on in February—is mentioned by name, but the will still stipulates that half of what’s left after distributions to charities and for Katherine Jackson be split between all children he might have.

The third, signed in March 2002, after the birth of Michael’s second and third children—Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince Michael Joseph Jackson, II (better known by his nickname, “Blanket”)—identifies only the first two children by name, but still indicates that the trust would benefit all his children evenly. Perhaps just to be safe, a fourth will that names all three children was filed the following July.

Jackson’s siblings have said that the singer was in New York on July 7th, the day the fourth will was dated and marked as signed in Los Angeles. Others have confirmed that the King of Pop was in the Big Apple that day. But under California law, this isn’t something that would render the will invalid, as it’s possible the document was simply misdated.

“If you accidentally write the wrong date on a document, does it matter? No,” says Katzenstein. “There’s no dating requirement.”

The will was admitted to probate in 2009, and Katzenstein points out that California Probate Code Section 8270 stipulates a period of 120 days to file a petition with the court to revoke the probate of the will. That period has long since passed. The will’s witnesses have all confirmed the document’s validity–according to estate attorney Paul Gordon Hoffman, the individuals were contacted in the days after Michael Jackson’s death, and none indicated that their signatures were false.

Even if the most recent will–or the three most recent wills–was somehow overturned, the outcome would be the same: John Branca, who is named as an executor on all four, would still be one of the executors; 20% of all proceeds from the estate would go to charity, with the remainder split between a trust for Katherine Jackson and a trust for Michael’s children. If all four wills were invalidated, the children would inherit the estate at age 18, with Katherine Jackson and the charities left out. In theory, a more recent will could supersede the current will if discovered, but it seems highly unlikely that someone would have waited so long to come forward.

“It isn’t like someone who knew Michael, and thus would be in possession of his will, didn’t know about Michael’s death and thus is still holding it,” says Hoffman, who points out that none of Jackson’s many former lawyers or business managers knows of a more recent will. “No one has ever indicated that a later will was signed.”

But this is all essentially old news. Michael’s father Joseph, who was left out of the most recent will (and the three preceding wills), unsuccessfully challenged the will in the months following his son’s death. “Joe Jackson takes none of this estate,” declared Judge Mitchell Beckloff in 2009. “This is a decision his son made.” Beckloff formally appointed Branca and McClain as co-executors of the estate shortly thereafter, when Katherine Jackson dropped her initial objections and announced her support for their appointment.

In hindsight, that seems to have been a wise decision. The estate has generated roughly half a billion dollars in the three years since the King of Pop’s death, thanks to a slew of deals including a $60 million advance for the film This Is It, a new recording contract worth up to $250 million and the Michael Jackson Immortal World Tour, a joint venture with Cirque du Soleil that has already grossed over $75 million in the first half of 2012 according to Pollstar, more than any other North American concert tour.

In total, Michael Jackson has earned more in the past three years than any single living artist–yet another reason it would be hard to imagine the structure of his estate changing anytime soon.

I was just reading through some of the comments and I had had the idea also of somehow MJ estate paying for the education of the other Jackson children , because it seems to me that MJ paid alot of their private school bills as I remember..
It would be nice if part of the 20 percent the estate had going to charities would be college fund for the benefit of children in need …That could also include the Jackson cousins etc..
I have seen them on Oprah saying they are all in show business, but that is a very small bullseye to aim for..
If the estate could include them in some in some college tuition’s as well as others, I dont think it would cure the jealousy but it would give them an option to do something where they could make a go of it themselves..

Why did Katherie have to leave in such a haste that she could not leave
a message or note to the grandchildren and maybe set up a phone-date? This would have allayed the anxiety of the children and avoided the outcry by Paris.

“I also have the will and several documents from the early probate if you would like them Helena. We could post them and people could compare the initialed trust to the will and see for themselves that it was not faked. I think it might be good to write an article about or to just show everyone what happened that way people could decide for themselves what is going on.”

Lynette, I will post the trust here (it was sent to me by markoftheancients) http://mail.rambler.ru/m/folder/INBOX/5589.2/download/id/JacksonTrust.pdf. It was made on a date different from the will but in its essence is no different from it, so nothing would change even if the 2002 were annulled – this document also confirms that nothing was left to Michael’s siblings.

If you would like to make a special post comparing the will and the trust you are very much welcome to write it here in the blog. I am also planning to make a post, but it will concern Michael’s debt. The subject is rather painful but I’ve read in Taaj Malik’s blog that her dear self does not believe that there was a debt and needs proof of it (!).

I don’t know how one cannot believe the documents which were submitted to court and were checked and rechecked there, but this novel idea of “no debt” seems to be the reason why Randy suspects the Estate of a fraud. They think that the debt is fictional but the money generated is real and is being put into the Estate’s pocket?

Well, there is no such crazy thought which a malicious mind will not invent. However ridiculous as it is, we will have to closely look into Michael’s debt. The subject is painful and it is unheard of that WE should be proving it, but if the Jacksons are unable to put two and two together themselves someone else will have to – just to stop this crazy rumor.

Yes it is good to see Jermain’s letter.Randy on the other hand continues to rant on Twitter. The one article that I saw was wrong about one thing though, the trust was made public.Fans that were against it said that they believed that it was Brian Oxman that leaked it to The News Of The World in the UK just two days after he complained that many of the documents were not being shown to the Public. That was May,31st 2010.I have that one and several links that are good articles form legal analyst’s not the tabloids. I also have the will and several documents from the early probate if you would like them Helena. We could post them and people could compare the initialed trust to the will and see for themselves that it was not faked.
I think it might be good to write an article about or to just show everyone what happened that way people could decide for themselves what is going on.
Randy and his siblings also attacked the Estate on about the AEG suit and the Estate asking for all documents turned over in discovery to be filed under seal. They have too, there is no subterfuge they are in fact doing their jobs. As we learned long ago civil law is different than criminal law and discovery in a civil case consists of deposition ( spoken sworn testimony), interrogatory ( written answers to submitted questions) and subponea for documents or depositions. So when the Estate asked for all documents turned over to them in discovery to be filed under seal they were in fact protecting the depositions that the siblings say were so hard on Katherine and the children. As for not doing their jobs I think just about anyone looking at the money figures are going to laugh that one off.

Guys, I’d love to answer your comments but I had a very hard day today and will limit myself to just saying that am very happy to see Jermaine Jackson’s letter:

    Aug 2
Jermaine Jackson rescinds his signature from the letter which was sent to the Estate:

Yesterday, I had a phone call with my son Jaafar that broke my heart. He asked: “Is it true that we cannot visit grandmother’s house as a family anymore?” Enough has become enough… After much soul-searching, it is clearly time for us to live by Michael’s words about love not war. In this spirit, I offer this statement by way of extending an olive-branch. Accordingly, I rescind my signature from the letter which was sent to the Estate, and which should never have gone public. I still hold deep reservations about many issues involving the Estate, and I will continue to bring scrutiny and a resolute voice wherever we have cause for concern. But the way to address such matters is through the proper channels and via a private dialogue, not public conflict. Whatever the tabloid and on-line misrepresentations have led people to believe, my primary concern has only ever been rooted in the welfare of our mother in the environment where she lives. No-one on the outside has a clue about the stresses and pressures she has been under long before recent events and I, like everyone in the family, adore the ground she walks on. We are also still raw from the loss of Michael three years ago. The ever-present grief has haunted me with questions about whether we stepped off him too much or whether we did enough to help when a corporate world surrounded him. So when it comes to the well-being of loved ones, and especially our mother, we are perhaps understandably and unapologetically over-protective. As attorney Perry Sanders has since confirmed, a health check detected high blood pressure with Mother. Rest was the sole reason she went to Arizona. Prince even carried her bags down the stairs and urged her to rest-up, because we all come from the same caring place. When she was away, and with the children in the responsible care of Tito’s son TJ, there was never a malicious attempt to “block” the kids from talking with her. We simply worried that a call home would first entail, or lead to, conversations with individuals we are in dispute with and that would, therefore, increase pressure on Mother — and pressure was what a doctor said she didn’t need. This was why we went to the house in Calabasas to talk directly with the kids and merely discuss arrangements for them to meet with their grandmother. We were denied that access by security — and it was clear that mutual suspicions had allowed events to spiral out of control. I regret that events were ever allowed to reach such a stage. I regret any distress caused to Prince, Paris and Blanket. That was never, ever the intention of myself, Janet, Rebbie or Randy. Moving forward, the most effective way to best serve Mother’s welfare, and that of Michael’s children, is to start a collective dialogue, in private. Mistakes have been made and irrational things have been said on both sides in a highly-charged emotional environment. It is time for us all to draw a line in the sand and move towards peace, co-operation, love and healing. I truly hope that we can find it in our hearts to do so. Because above and beyond anything else, what matters…is family.

This is the only civil and dignified way of handling their family dispute. And it wasn’t even a dispute – it was an ordinary misunderstanding which often arise between people.

I always suspected that some Iago was whispering in Randy’s trustful ear ridiculous but poisonous lies, and here we have proof of it: http://thegrio.com/2012/07/27/randy-jackson-goes-on-twitter-rant-says-mj-estate-is-trying-to-kill-katherine-jackson/:

Now Randy claims that the Estate is trying to take Katherine Jackson’s life! And he also calls them “the same people that were involved with my brother when he died” thus implying that the Estate is responsible for Michael’s death.

Well, this I also heard from some quarters, was immensely surprised by some people’s fantasies and by the total lack of proof of what they are saying. Why bother present some proof? They don’t need any – they just say so, and everyone is supposed to fall for their ravings…

Out of those who were around Michael, Randy (and those whom he turns his trustful ear to) suddenly select one person who is the least suitable for what they accuse him of. He was rehired by Michael 8 days before his death and was even away on holiday when Michael died. Never mind that propofol was administered to Michael by Conrad Murray employed by AEG and this process began two months before Branca joined Michael…

In terms of absurdity this theory can rival only Sneddon’s idea that “molestation” in Neverland started when the whole world began looking at it in absolute horror. At the time some gullible people believed this crazy lie. Will they believe a similar crazy lie now?

Or have they learned the art of thinking at last?

Randy Jackson goes on Twitter rant says MJ estate is trying to kill Katherine Jackson

Although Katherine Jackson has reportedly agreed to share custody of Michael Jackson’s children with her grandson TJ, the Jackson family drama is still going strong.

Moments ago Michael Jackson’s youngest brother, Randy Jackson, took to Twitter, claiming that Michael Jackson’s estate is trying to isolate his mother Katherine “Just like they did Michael.”

“It is my fear and belief, that they are trying to take my mother’s life.” Randy wrote. His tweet included a link to a lengthy message revealing his take on the events that have unfolded this week within the Jackson family.

    1) When TJ asked my mother if he should ask for temporary guardianship, my Mother told TJ NO – twice.

    2) The Estate denied Rebbie, Janet and Jermaine access to the house when they returned to home to Calabasas with a letter written by Howard Weitzman, attorney for the Estate, who is not a resident of the home.

    3) The Estate is trying to isolate my Mother from her family JUST LIKE THEY DID TO MICHAEL, in order to propagate their lies, financial agendas and to protect a fraudulent will.

    4) The same people that are trying to manipulate my mother are the same people that were involved with my brother when he died.

    5) In order to obtain temporary guardianship, TJ lied to the court. Rebbie, Janet, Jermaine and I would never harm our mother and we are doing our best to protect her and the Estate knows that. I want to know why Perry Sanders would consider a negotiation based on lies.

    6) It is clear that anyone who stands up against the Executors of the Estate – John Branca, John McClain and their attorney Howard Weitzman – is denied access to my mother.

    7) It is my fear and belief, that they are trying to take my mother’s life.

It is SO SAD to read it:

JACKSON ESTATE LIMITS ACCESS TO HOME AMID FEUD
    Jul. 30 10:42 PM EDT

FILE – In this Nov. 29, 2011 photo, Michael Jackson’s mother Katherine Jackson and brother Jermaine Jackson leave after the sentencing of Conrad Murray at the Los Angeles Criminal Justice Center. Attorneys for Michael Jackson’s estate on Monday, July 30, 2012 acknowledged they limited access to the home shared by the late singer’s mother and children in response to a driveway disturbance last week. (AP Photo/Reed Saxon, File)

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Michael Jackson’s estate has acknowledged it has limited some relatives’ access to the home shared by the singer’s mother and children in the wake of a family feud that turned into a driveway argument last week.

The estate’s statement released Monday afternoon does not specify which members of Jackson’s family are no longer allowed at the home and says the list is subject to change. The statement says an approved guest list was requested by an attorney for TJ Jackson, the son of Tito Jackson who was appointed temporary guardian of the children last week.

“It is imperative to the estate that from this point forward a safe and appropriate environment be provided for Michael Jackson’s children and his mother,” the statement reads. The children and Katherine Jackson live in a gated community in suburban Calabasas that is more private than the family’s longtime home in Encino, which is on a public street.

The statement was issued in response to an online report by journalist Roland Martin that Jackson’s siblings Randy, Janet and Jermaine have been blocked from visiting the home. The trio was present in a July 23 scuffle that the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department is still investigating as a possible battery.

The Jackson siblings followed a vehicle carrying Jackson’s children, Prince, Paris and Blanket, through security gates and “ambushed” the children and their caretakers, an attorney for family matriarch Katherine Jackson said last week. The elder Jackson was out of contact with the children for roughly 10 days while at an Arizona spa, which prompted a missing person’s report and concerns about her health.

TJ Jackson, the late singer’s nephew, plans to become a co-guardian in an agreement reached last week after Katherine Jackson returned to the home.

Katherine Jackson’s attorney Perry Sanders Jr. said last week that TJ Jackson would take over day-to-day operations and staff oversight at the Calabasas home. The move will free Katherine Jackson to focus on the upbringing of the children, who range in ages from 10 to 15, Sanders said.

Siblings Randy, Janet, Rebbie and Jermaine Jackson have signed a letter calling on the executors of Jackson’s estate to resign. Randy Jackson has accused the executors, attorney John Branca and music executive John McClain, of trying to isolate Katherine Jackson from relatives who are critical of them.

“It is my fear and belief, that they are trying to take my mother’s life,” Randy Jackson wrote last week.

Randy Jackson has also claimed his brother’s will is a fake, a claim the estate denies.

“Is he the one that was shot by Tina Turner after he smashed through a window into her house? Not sure–maybe it was another brother?”

Aldebarahredstar, yes, he was the one. Randy and everyone else in the family should realize that now they will forever be in the centre of attention and of the whole world too. They no longer belong to themselves and should behave much more responsibly. That alone should cool off some emotions there.

“I think the child abuse that was rampant in the family, along with the overcrowding so that the children were all crushed up together, esp.the 6 boys, in a small space where there was no privacy, and then the grueling life of rehearsals, on tour, etc, all this has resulted in very damaged people.”

Absolutely. All of them are damaged by their childhood and especially by Joe Jackson.

“I do not think the Estate needs to provide education for all the Jackson children in order to reduce envy. My reasons are that it probably would not reduce the envy, it is not in the will, and it would take from the children’s inheritance. It is not our money, or the Estate’s money, it is Michael’s beneficiaries’ money–Katherine until she passes away, at which point her share will go to Michael’s children, Michael’s children, and charities.”

What I’ve written is just how I feel about the situation. Katherine is doing it anyway as she is dispensing the money she receives in a way she thinks fit. But afterwards it will become a big issue, and there will be only Michael’s children to decide. In my opinion it would be best if they created a kind of fund for the other children in the family – they themselves will roll in money by then and will feel better if they provide for others. But not to cater to other children’s whims – just provide for their well-being and education in particular.

I would very much like the children in the Jacksons’ family to stop fooling about and become very well educated people. All of them should understand that they no longer belong to themselves only. Whether they like it or not, but the world is following their lives now and only because of Michael Jackson. This is a very difficult role everyone related to huge celebrities has to play. And Michael was someone totally special – much more than even a royalty.

Unfortunately at the moment Michael’s siblings do not show themselves at their best. However the latest move from Howard Wiezman to bar them from entering the premises where Katherine and the grandchildren live seems to me a bit too much. The Estate’s primary goal is to protect Michael’s children, that’s for sure, but I doubt that Michael’s siblings are such a threat to them. And Katherine’s heart must be totally broken now to see her family now divided even physically. I’m sure that Katherine’s children are very well able to come to terms with each other and all this “barring” is totally unnecessary.

But the Jacksons should learn their lesson too and become much more responsible. The whole world is watching.

ROLAND S. MARTIN EXCLUSIVE: Janet Jackson, Others Family Members Barred From Mom’s California Home
    JULY 29, 2012

    By Roland S. Martin
    Editor-in-Chief
    RolandMartinReports.com

The executors of Michael Jackson’s estate have barred a number of the late singer’s siblings, including Janet Jackson, from the California home where their mother, Katherine, is raising the late singers three children.
The details of who is and isn’t allowed onto the Calabas, California is detailed in an email obtained RolandMartinReports.com editor-in-chief, Roland S. Martin.

Howard Weitzman, who represents John McClain and John Branca, sent the email Wednesday to Charles Schultz, an attorney for TJ Jackson.
Weitzman writes that after the drama over the last two weeks, which including allegations that Katherine Jackson had gone missing for 10 days and was unable to reach Paris, Prince and Blanket Jackson, which led to her having to share guardianship of the children with another grandchild, TJ Jackson, it is necessary to bar certain family and friends from the property.

“Given the circumstances of the last two weeks, and in order to protect the children and Mrs. Jackson, the Executors believe that it would not be appropriate to allow the following individuals to enter the residence or its grounds and we instruct the security to preclude the following from entering the residence or the grounds: Randy Jackson and any of his children, Janet Jackson, Rebbie Jackson and any of her children, Jermaine Jackson, his wife and any of his children, Janice Smith, or anyone else who was involved in the recent events that led to Mrs. Jackson’s separation from and inability to communicate with Michael’s children, or any agents or representatives of any of these individuals,” Weitzman wrote.

“There will be no other security or drivers allowed on the property except those employed by the Estate of Michael Jackson. Joe Jackson is precluded from entering the property. Howard Mann who is in litigation against the Estate and is working with the Jackson siblings that wrote the “letter” should also not be allowed on the premises.”

The “letter” Weitzman is referring to is the one signed by Randy, Janet, Jermaine, Rebbie and Tito Jackson, alleging that the 2002 will authorizing Branca and McClain to be the executors of estate is fraudulent. Tito later apologized for signing the letter.

“Of course, Paris, Prince and Blanket, T.J. and his brothers, Tito, Marlon, Jackie and their spouses, current security (hired by the Estate), staff (per T.J.), Meg Lodise, Michael Kane, Sandra Ribera, Parry Sanders, Trent Jackson, you (Charles Shultz) and anyone else authorized by T.J. (other than the Excluded Individuals listed above), may enter and remain on the premises,” Weitzman wrote.

Weitzman’s email does not mention Michael’s sister, LaToya, and whether she can visit the property. She has publicly called on her family to stop the infighting.

According to a Jackson family source, the estate is allowed to make such demands because it pays the monthly lease payment on the Calabas home. Katherine Jackson controls the $70,000 monthly stipend the estate allocates to each Jackson child – a total of $210,000 – any way she sees fit, including school costs and other expenses.

Katherine Jackson is currently in the process of trying to purchase the home so the estate won’t be able to dictate such terms, the source said.
Weitzman writes that if law enforcement needs to be made of the letter, Schultz, T.J. Jackson or anyone else is authorized to show it to them.

“It is imperative to the Estate that from this point forward a safe and appropriate environment be provided for Michael Jackson’s children and his mother as well,” Weitzman wrote.

I am beginning to think Randy Jackson is certifiable. Is he the one that was shot by Tina Turner after he smashed through a window into her house? Not sure–maybe it was another brother? I think the child abuse that was rampant in the family, along with the overcrowding so that the children were all crushed up together, esp.the 6 boys, in a small space where there was no privacy, and then the grueling life of rehearsals, on tour, etc, all this has resulted in very damaged people.
I do not think the Estate needs to provide education for all the Jackson children in order to reduce envy. They can’t anyway even if they wanted to, I think, due to the fact that this is not in the will. My reasons are that it probably would not reduce the envy, it is not in the will, and it would take from the children’s inheritance. It is not our money, or the Estate’s money, it is Michael’s beneficiaries’money–Katherine until she passes away, at which point her share will go to Michael’s children, Michael’s children, and charities.

It is just such a disaster and a shame that Michael’s sibs can’t support the will.I think this stems from the family damage done in the past. Michael seemed to have been treated not as a person but a commodity. He was owned, like a slave. Now that he is gone, the money he earned and still earns is seem as ‘mine’ by some family members. I guess it comes down to a co-dependency where the ‘family’ is one gluey mass and all needs are glommed together. (Instead of separate indiividuals who respect the other individuals.)

Then don´t forget that there are places, institutes, ie one in China of all places ,where Michaels music is a serious study. For them it would be good to get the the unfinished tracks as they are, without any input by other musicians.”

Kaarin, how very interesting! Studying Michael’s music seriously could eventually bring us scientifically made reconstructions of his music. And though they of course will be devoid of Michael’s “spark” this music may still be the closest to what we could have got from him if he had finished it off himself.

I haven’t been able to find information on the Chinese institute studying Michael’s music, but have found an article showing that MJ is very popular in China now. And the Chinese do not doubt that Michael was innocent – they just feel that he was like a child himself:

Why the Chinese are obsessed with the late Michael Jackson
    By Dinah Gardner | 10/28/09
BEIJING, China — There’s considerably more crotch-grabbing by Chinese impersonators of Michael Jackson than the King of Pop himself ever managed on stage. Clad in drainpipe black, a Chinese Jackson lookalike — miming to Billie Jean — has performed the iconic move more than a dozen times in the past 30 seconds and the crowd is loving it.

Beijing marked the global premiere of “Michael Jackson’s This Is It” new concert documentary with — what else? — an outdoor gala featuring some 60 professional Jackson impersonators.

The Tuesday night event at a Beijing shopping mall was attended by two thousand screaming fans, including arthouse film director Jia Zhangke, actress Jiang Yiyan and other Chinese celebrities. Similar shows were held in 10 other Chinese cities, including Shanghai and Guangzhou.

As the clock struck midnight cinemas across the country screened the film, making China one of the first countries in the world to show it.

The documentary is culled from recordings of Jackson rehearsing for a 50-show comeback tour in London this summer. He died from a heart attack on June 25 before the tour began.

The diehard fans here went wild at every (frequent) moonwalk. Each time an act finished the crowd launched into a chant: “Michael, Michael.” When the event’s host killed time between performances by relating some Jackson trivia, a fan from the crowd shouts: “This is boring! We want Michael!”

Ma Chunyan traveled more than 24 hours by train from the western city of Lanzhou just to attend tonight’s show. Waving a painting of Jackson above her head she yells: “I love you Michael.”

“I feel he has never left me,” the 26-year-old dancer says solemnly. “He is in my heart.” Next to her a young woman stands sobbing.

Jackson has a huge following in China. “This Is It” premier tickets for Beijing sold out in days, according to state media.

His appeal largely comes from his association with China’s opening and economic reform, which kicked into gear in the 1980s, the height of the gloved one’s popularity.

“Michael Jackson was one of the first foreign mega-stars to have his music widely available in China,” said David Moser, an American professor of Chinese studies and an academic director at Capital Normal University in Beijing. “So there is an entire generation of Chinese who remember him very vividly as an almost legendary character in their past, exactly at a time when they were first becoming aware of the world and coming of age.”

Jackson’s music was also an inspiration for an entire generation of Chinese musicians, said Zhang Rui, the 37-year-old founder of the Chinese Michael Jackson fan club.

“When China was just opening up Chinese musicians didn’t know much about Western music, they didn’t know much about rock and roll. His music was very very fresh at the time, very different from anything they had heard of before. And so we started to try something new. And now we can see many pop singers singing like Michael and dancing like Michael.”

Chinese fascination with Jackson also stems from his fans’ perception of him as someone who genuinely wanted to solve the world’s problems. More than once the guests on stage said they thought Jackson represented hope for peace and the need to solve global problems such as climate change.

“He is very pure, he is very innocent,”
said Zhang. “He keeps innocence in his heart, everything around him is very complicated, but that is Michael Jackson.”

And like Jackson fans everywhere, Chinese fans dismiss the negative press including the accusations of child molestation.

Bai Bing, a 28–year-old market researcher from Beijing, said he doesn’t believe any of the scandals.

“He is like a child, he just loves to play with children,” said Bai. “Just listen to his songs. Listen to the words and you can tell he is so kind hearted. He wanted to heal the world.”

If anything, Jackson’s death has catapulted him into even greater fame in China.

Since his heart attack, the Chinese fan club has doubled its membership to almost 80,000 now, said founder Zhang.

The fact that “This Is It” is screening in China at all reflects the man’s importance. Chinese cinemas are only allowed to show a maximum of 20 overseas films a year.

And in their own way, the DVD pirates will also pay their tribute to the King of Pop. By tomorrow evening vendors will no doubt be selling $1 bootleg copies of it on Beijing’s streets.

The point here is though that the accusations made by the Jackson siblings toward the estate are not supported by the facts of what has been going on.Their Letter of Demand which is what that letter is states more than one reason that they don’t want Branca and McClain in charge of that Estate.I still haven’t figured out how they can blame someone of Elder abuse at the onset of the probate and still continue to do that today when you see just what it is that she is receiving from the trust..
Yes that’s right i have the full set of the original Prpobate petitions and as early as June 29th they were accusing them of financial elder abuse.I don’t know how they can be so disingenuous I really don’t.If you read the letter take note at the bottom of the last page and see who it is that they cc’d the letter to.That will tell you a little bit more about their true concerns as opposed to what they are saying. You know I have had these things on my jump drive for sometime and I hestiated saying anything negative about the Jacksons because the fans were always so supportive of them and I was not sure of the reception that an article about the will, about the siblings in question or at least some of them and about the legal wranglelings of the Jackson family would recieve.I plan to finish it sometime today. But just know that maybe it is time for the fan community to get a better picture of the inner workings of the Jackson family as a whole and to show them that Prince was telling the truth when he said that his father had warned him about the ways of certain people.I think a good example of why Katherine actually needs some guidance outside the family in regard to Michael’s legacy is the Jackson Secret Vault lawsuit.I will include all of the documents that I have concerning that but it is still ongoing so it will be up until now. It also includes the copycat suit against Heal The World and how it was resolved.

Michael supported the whole Jackson clan throughout his life, usually by giving money to his mother to dispense to his siblings.Once he returned from his exile abroad they had not paid somekind of taxes on Havenhurst,so he ended up to pay that,Which added to his debts.-Now it remains important to pay off the debts-thats why the Cascio and other songs need to be published. Then don´t forget that there are places, institutes, ie one in China of all places ,where Michaels music is a serious study. For them it would be good to get the the unfinished tracks as they are, without any input by other musicians. This probabably would not bring in much money if any but maybe important for his legacy.-The sibs got used to
getting money from Michael. Now getting TJ on board is a great idea, especially I hope for Blanket, and some money needs to go that way.Hopefully for TJ to be a fatherfigure to B.
Don´t forget that Michael lived, worked and died to keep his family afloat in all ways, economically as well. He literally sacrificed himself.

Everyone is assuming that Michael didn’t want the rest of his family (outside of the children) to be taken care of or to be helped financially. Katherine dispensed money to Joe and to the brothers when Michael was alive so why would it be any different in death? He left it to her because he knew she would be reasonable and fair.

Randy and Jermaine’s child support debts are not the problem of the estate but they still provided Alejandra a place to stay to keep her from looking for support in the media, which helped the Jackson reputations.

On the fight, I do hope that the media was lying when they talked about the language that was exchanged between Paris and Janet. I’m wiling to bet they are.

If you guys notice what the estate has paid for there is a condominium mentioned that they bought for Alejandra Jackson so she would move out of Havenhurst. She was Randy and Jermaines ex wife that had been living there with her kids since 1993.Thye did that to get her out of the house. Jermaine and Randy did not pay their child support and she wouldn’t go until they did or unless they gave her a place to live.Randy is now fighting paying her child suport.
Then there is the house in Las Vegas that they are now financing. That would be the one that Joe Jackson lives in.So Katherine is asking for and getting support for those people whether Michael would have wanted it or not.

@kaarin22 Not that I’m implying that your comment was meant to be hateful. It definitely was not. It’s just that Blanket deserves and needs our acceptance and approval of him just as he is. Mrs. Cascio might have been the one who first mentioned the nickname, but Michael chose to use it. It would have been easy enough for him to snuff it at its creation if he had wanted to.

True, a lot of kids outgrow their nicknames or even their given names and one day insist they be called something else. I just don’t think it’s anyone’s business but his. Same with the length of his hair. Essentially, we’re criticizing a vulnerable child still trying to regain his balance. Too many times I have seen comments under an online or off-line “news” blurb about the Jacksons that are quite hateful regarding both of those things. I hadn’t expected to see anything like that here, is all,

Yes why is his nickname any worse than the real names of some celebrity kids.Perfect example Gwyneth Paltrow’s oldest daughters real name is Apple on her birth certificate. That is somehow more acceptable? I like Blanket, it, like him is cute.

Yes, Michael used it in the meaning of comfort and protection for his child. But the nickname itself was given by a woman in Michael’s surrounding – now my memory completely fails me but I think it was Frank Cascio’s mother who was with Michael when the baby was brought into his home. She was the first to mention “Blanket” and the nickname stuck.

And we can also easily imagine that Blanket himself might not like it. Eventually he will tell us.

Of course it is understandable why the children panicked. Only now we are beginning to realize how vulnerable the children are despite all their presence of mind and seeming confidence. The only person whom they could really trust was missing and no one could say where she really was and for a whole week too, and considering her age… Even adults would start panicking in such situations.

“It would be desirable that Blanket(change that nickname!)get a steady fatherfigure and that TJ can be a stepfather of sorts”

Kaarin, it seems that TJ is already involved in the children’s life very much and was actually chosen by the children themselves. The article below says he was the one who attended the school conferences and dealt with teachers. This is an encouraging sign – no one forced him to do it, so he must be genuinely caring for the children.

I remember TJ as a very handsome young man from the “Why” video which featured Michael together with his three nephews. They were the ones who worked closely with Michael and spent much time together. Now he is 34 and is just the right father figure for Blanket. Hopefully he will fill in the emptiness in Blanket’s life – the boy seems to be very lost and somewhat depressed. He clearly cannot understand why all this hoopla around him is taking place and is probably annoyed with it, not to mention that he has neither father nor mother beside him.

Katherine Jackson to share custody of Michael Jackson’s children
    July 27, 2012 | 10:39 am

Michael Jackson’s mother has agreed to share custody of the late pop star’s three children with the grandson currently serving as their temporary guardian, her lawyer said Friday.

Katherine Jackson will file papers next week asking a Los Angeles judge to name Tito Joe “T.J.” Jackson, 34, as co-guardian, according to a statement released by attorney Perry R. Sanders Jr.

The 82-year-old matriarch was stripped of guardianship Wednesday amid allegations that some of her children were holding her against her will at an Arizona spa. Katherine Jackson returned to Los Angeles on Thursday and announced her intention to regain guardianship of Prince, 15, Paris, 14 and Blanket, 10.

But after a meeting with her lawyer, the children, and T.J. Jackson, she concluded he should remain in an official role, the statement said. T.J. Jackson, 34, has been closely involved in the children’s upbringing, attending school conferences and dealing with teachers, the statement said.

The joint arrangement “will essentially now legally reflect how Mrs. Jackson and T.J. have often shared responsibilities of raising the children since Michael Jackson’s tragic passing,” Sanders wrote.

T.J. Jackson will oversee the staff and security at the Calabasas home while Katherine Jackson will keep control of the children’s financial allowance from the singer’s estate, according to the statement.

“She is eager to simply enjoy her great relationship with these children, while deeding over some of the stressors that go hand in hand with being a guardian,” Sanders wrote.

    The entire statement:

Later this morning, TJ Jackson’s attorney, Charles Shultz, will be filing a petition for TJ to be appointed permanent guardian of Michael Jackson’s three children. The court ordered that this petition be filed pursuant to the temporary guardianship he granted TJ on Wednesday of this week. However, after a very productive meeting yesterday, first between Mrs. Jackson and me, and then joined by Prince Jackson, TJ Jackson and Mr. Shultz, it was agreed by all that it is in the best interest of Mrs. Jackson and the children to file a modified joint pleading at the beginning of next week. With some changes, that pleading will essentially now legally reflect how Mrs. Jackson and TJ have often shared responsibilities of raising the children since Michael Jackson’s tragic passing. Following reaching agreement, Margaret Lodise, the court appointed guardian ad litem for the children, was brought into the meeting by conference call. Ms. Lodise confirmed with Prince that the agreement reflected the wishes of all the children. The joint filing will request that the court reinstate Mrs. Jackson and appoint TJ as a co-guardian of Michael’s children. If the court grants this joint request, it will eliminate concerns such as the ones triggered by the events of the last few days. It will also empower TJ to take joint legal responsibility for certain day to day duties such as the management of household personnel, including security. It will also make clear for school personnel and anyone else coming into contact with the children that TJ is authorized to act on their behalf. TJ has frequently attended school conferences and dealt with school related matters and this agreement, if approved by the court, allows for continuity as sanctioned by the court. Mrs. Jackson will then be freed up to focus on the more personal everyday decision making related to the lives and activities of the children. She would also remain in control of the children’s family allowance. Mrs. Jackson is extremely pleased with the prospect of enjoying the pleasure of raising Michael’s children without the day to day tedium of items such as managing the large staff that goes with such a high profile family and focus her attention on being a grandmother and raising Michael’s children. She greatly appreciates the recent love and concern that supporters have shown for her and the kids, and she hopes the court will grant this request for co-guardianship. She is eager to simply enjoy her great relationship with these children, while deeding over some of the stressors that go hand in hand with being a guardian.

Once the joint filing is made next week, it will be served on all interested parties and the specifics of what is being requested will be spelled out in the public record. Until then, no further official comment about guardianship will be made.

“I think when you look at the inconsistencies in what the siblings said and what the kids say and what Katherine has now said you have to come to the conclusion that his brothers want some money”

Lynette, I’ve been following the developments too and agree that of course all it boils down to is money. But I don’t believe in things like “kidnapping” Katherine, and interpret some of the same events differently.

To me the whole thing looks like deep dissatisfaction seething in the family over the way the money generated by the Estate is spent and this is why they made an attempt to snatch the reigns from the Estate executors. The Estate is paying off the debts in the first place and is investing in new projects which will enhance Michael’s legacy. But for part of Michael’s siblings their immediate needs like child support are much more important. They simply do not understand why they cannot have a little of what the Estate is generating now if they, Michael’s brothers, are in so much need and owe in child support. Envy also has a lot to do with it. Michael’s children are getting everything while their children get nothing and this makes some of them resentful.

I am absolutely not saying that I approve of it – all I am saying that it is human nature which is difficult to correct. I can also imagine Katherine’s very conflicting emotions – all these children are her grandchildren and she would like all of them to be equally happy and well provided for.

I may be wrong in my assessment of the situation but if I were in the place of the Estate I would create a common fund for all children in the Jacksons’ family that would provide for their needs – educational, health issues, etc. – with the idea to give all of them equal opportunities and eradicate the very root of possible envy within the family. After all it could be one of those charity projects which Michael set aside money for in his will, right?

In suggesting it I am thinking of Michael’s children in the first place. Will they be able to live with a quiet conscience if they know that they are rolling in millions while to their siblings proper education is unaccessible due to financial problems?

Again, I am not sure that all the grandchildren are worthy of this help. There should be certain restrictions or limits to it to avoid simple squandering of these funds, but investing money in children’s education seems to me a very proper way of investing Michael’s money.

“Did you guys see this? http://bit.ly/LTuQ8L Everything you want to know about how the Estate has been running things, in full detail”.

Krisheywood, thank you so much for the information. I had a brief look and am in awe. The work the Estate is doing is superb. This kind of work requires not only professionalism, but also a great dedication to what they are doing. It is not a mere sorting out the papers, paying off everything they could pay and then spreading their hands in a helpless gesture of “This is all we could do in the situation”. No, the Estate is determined to turn Michael’s legacy into a thunderous success and all we can do is applaud them for their determination in doing it.

This keeps me thinking that if the concerts in London had taken place (and they would have been a tremendous success) the same could have been done while Michael was alive. Michael called Branca into his life exactly for this kind of help. And Branca himself was eager to do it as he came to Michael with a list of projects which Michael approved of (and which the Estate is now implementing).

So today’s success of the Estate has a bitter side to it – all of it would have been possible if Michael had lived.

P.S. I’ve added the MJJCommunity summary and the July 2012 Accounting report to the post about Branca and Michael Jackson’s finances. My huge thanks to all MJ’s fans who provided this information!

One last thought on this though. This last week has made me as a fan SO PROUD of Michael’s children. It was their actions that showed the world they were strong, brave and loving.Paris when she knew she needed help reached out to the fan community via Twitter. She let the world know that some people in the Jackson family may havae ulterior motives in their actions. When confronted with an attempt by those famiyl members to stop her from alerting the world to her problems with them and their lies she stood toe to toe and did not back down.Michael was right she would be the one that fought for him. When those same family members came after them again and had their Grandmother renounce what the children were saying and support what they were saying Prince with his fathers wisdom and warning knew what to do and who to call and where to go for help. He waited until his Grandmother was home and then let the world know they were not lying but being lied to and about. I can’t begin to imagine how proud Michael would have been to see him sign his statement “Michael Jackdon Jr” The famiyl really does have a new patriarch even if he is only 15. Michael must be crying tears of joy at his strenght and wisdom. But the defining moment came for me when Dr Drew said “Michael did such an outstanding job with these kids”. They are Michael Jackson’s legacy.

Helena I am not sure what has happened in this family but Randy does have a lawsuit against his Ex wife Alejandra asking to stop having child support payments. Here is a link to the article in the little Encino California paper where he filed.
    http://encino.patch.com/articles/randy-jackson-lawsuit-postponed
But what I do know is this.Last Thursday a letter from the four siblings,Janet, Jermaine, Rany and Rebbie (Tito’s name was on it but he never signed it) was leaked in the press. The Estate responded and what created the real Twitter outcry was when Paris refuted what was said in the letter about her Grandma having a stroke and needing to rest. That was when she wanted to talk to her grandmother and could not find her. Then she was reported missing by Trent because she was not in Albuquerque New Mexico when that is where she was supposed to be to watch her sons in concert. Then Paris confirmed that she was indeed missing and she had not spoken to her since she had left.
Then Jermaine gets on Twitter and says that she is in Phoenix with family members having a rest due to her doctor telling her that she needed one. That was in the letter too. Then she is not in Phoenix Arizona and she is not being allowed to talk to her grandchildren at home. This was also confirmed by other members of the family who said they were told the same thing.namely Marlon, Michael’s brother in an interview.
Then word gets out that some business associate of Katherine had accused someone in the family of abuse in April and there had been an ongoing investigation into this. When she was questioned by police in April she denied that any abuse was taking place. Then you have Janet, Jermaine and Randy follow the car carrying Prince and Paris into the driveway of the house they are living in and we have seen the video of Janet reaching for Paris’s cell phone not once but twice and her and Randy chasing the kids with their phones while taking video. The fight continued into the house where sources inside the house say that the argument between Paris and Janet continued and may or may not have included Janet slapping Paris.
Then TJ came over and he finally got to talk to his Grandmother and he was advised to seek custody in her absence for the safety of the children. He went to court and he got temporary custody because of what we now know are the statements of him and one of Katherine’s lawyers. She then found out about suposedly being held against her will and made a statement saying that she just took a little vacation we have all seen that on ABC.Randy then gets on Twitter and says that TJ lied and Paris and the kids were lying. She finally came home that night several hours after her expected arrival and much to the siblings dismay Prince had captured a screen shot of a group chat where Janet was caught telling her sister Rebbie not to let them talk to her. That is when everything finally settled down a little but because everyone could see that what the siblings were saying was not true and what Michael’s children were saying was true.Prince’s twitter account was hacked while he was in summer school and the original twitlonger was replaced.
I just have to say that there is a paper and electronic record of all that has been said by Katherine’s children and Michael’s children. Part of what got custody for TJ is that THEY want him.
I think when you look at the inconsistencies in what the siblings said and what the kids say and what Katherine has now said you have to come to the conclusion that his brothers want some money. If you read the above article about Randy and Alejandra be aware that from 1993 until his death Michael is the one that supported Katherine’s house in Encino. He owned it so in essence he already paid Randy’s child support all along. Are any of them entitled to anything more from him considering what they have already gotten?

Here is one more piece, dated July 24, 2012 about the possible reasons for the Jacksons’ scuffle. It is also interesting as it speaks of Margaret Macdonaldo who once again debunks the myth promoted by Victor Gutierrez and Diane Dimond about “having a video” showing inappropriate behavior by MJ towards her son. You remember that case when Michael sued both Dimond and Gutierrez for slander, won the case against him (while she hid behind the shield law) and was awarded by the court’s ruling more than $2mln. from Gutierrez (which he didn’t pay).

Now we find out that the Santa Barbara Sheriff’s deputies waited until Margaret’s son turned 18 and interviewed him again when his mother was not at home. This gives us the idea how desperate the authorities were if they had to follow the leads which were proven to be false even in court. It also shows how thoroughly they were dissecting Michael Jackson.

Michael Jackson Estate Paid Off Randy and Jermaine’s Owed Child Support

    07/24/12 6:36pm Roger Friedman

One reason for all the hostility between Michael Jackson’s brothers and the estate: the brothers had to come to the executors hat in hand for money to pay their mutual ex and mother of their children. You know, Randy and Jermaine share an ex–Alejandra. Each of them has two children with her. Randy lived with her, then Jermaine married her. When Jermaine was stuck in Burkina Faso, Africa last winter, and couldn’t get back into the U.S. unless he paid back child support, Katherine Jackson intervened. She went to the executors and asked for the $91,000 Jermaine owed in child support. The estate gave her $80,000, which Katherine then handed over to Jermaine.

The same scenario went down with Randy, I am told by sources. At least it was easy: they only had to deal with one woman, not two. Anyway, Jermaine and Randy evidently feel that this should continue, and want their mother to keep paying their child support and other bills, according to sources. Interestingly, the estate has had no problems with Michael’s other siblings. Jackie Jackson has actually done work for them. Marlon and Tito each work, and long ago got off the Jackson gravy train. Rebbie Jackson’s husband, Nathaniel, has had a series of jobs including, I am told, mail carrier, which is a decent civil service job and coveted in this economy. Rebbie’s son-in-law, Rex Salas, is a music producer.

Not everyone in the Jackson family is being supported by Michael Jackson or Janet Jackson. One June 9, 2005 I interviewed Jermaine’s first wife, Margaret Maldonado. Here’s what I wrote:

Meet Margaret Maldonado, the ex-common-law wife of Jermaine Jackson and mother of two of his sons, Jeremy (18) and Jourdynn (16). Note: this was seven years ago. Margaret’s business is still going strong at http://www.margaretmaldonado.com
Margaret, who’s 40, has an incredibly successful business representing photographers and stylists in Hollywood. Her Web site — http://www.margaretmaldonado.com — speaks for itself.

At last, someone in the family has gotten up off the couch and done something with her life. Margaret’s followed the playbook invented by Jackie Onassis for her kids, Caroline Kennedy and John F. Kennedy Jr., and raised them away from the glare of their famous family.

I spoke to Margaret recently about her son Jeremy’s interview last December with Santa Barbara County sheriff’s deputies. The investigators were following up on rumors that something inappropriate had happened between Michael and Jeremy.
Margaret says nothing could be further from the truth.

“We were shocked,” she told me. “They waited until he turned 18 and was home alone. They knocked on the door one afternoon. We couldn’t believe it.”

Maldonado says she raised her two kids completely separated from the Jacksons. She was never married to Jermaine, but they were together for seven years. She says she’s never received a penny of child support, even though she has a court order for it.

“I just said, ‘Forget it.’ It wasn’t worth going to court and fighting with him. I knew I could make it on my own.”
She does not use the Jackson name, and until I called, had never made her association with the family public.
“All I ever got from them was groceries from Costco,” she said. “It was a long time ago.”

Maldonado laughs at rumors that her Range Rover and a recent family trip to Hawaii were gifts from Michael.
“I really resent that,” she said. “It [ticks] me off that people don’t think a woman can do this on her own. We take two family trips a year. My son goes to private school. That’s my Range Rover.”

Maldonado does concede that Jeremy has finished high school via home schooling. That was a result, she said, of the bad publicity following the Nov. 2002 incident when Michael dangled his baby, Blanket, over the balcony of a German hotel.
“Kids can be cruel,” she says. “He was having a bad time.”

As for Michael, Maldonado says she’s close enough to her two sons to know that nothing happened between them and Michael that she needs to worry about.
“He was always just the eccentric uncle,” she said. “The kids used to follow him around like ducks. But there’s nothing else.”

Some developments in the Jacksons’ case as reported by Roger Friedman:

Katherine Jackson Will Let Grandson TJ Be the Permanent Co-Guardian of Michael’s Kids

    07/27/12 12:20pm Roger Friedman

It’s a big win for Michael Jackson’s kids. Their grandmother, Katherine, has agreed to let her grandson, TJ, be the co guardian of Paris, Prince and Blanket. It’s a loss for the Randy-Jermaine-Janet-Rebbie group that spirited Mrs. Jackson to Arizona, released the letter about overturning Michael’s executors, and frightened the kids with thoughts that Mrs. Jackson is or was will. Now at 82 she doesn’t have to deal with day to day problems. A lot of responsibility has been placed on the shoulders of 34 year old TJ. Isn’t it interesting that not one of Michael Jackson’s many siblings ever stepped forward to be a parent to those kids, or to be there as a successor guardian? After what they’ve done, it’s unlikely the kids will ever speak to them again.

Statement from Perry Sanders, attorney for Katherine Jackson:

Later this morning, T J Jackson’s attorney, Charles Shultz, will be filing a petition for TJ to be appointed permanent guardian of Michael Jackson’s three children.

Jackson and TJ have often shared responsibilites of raising the children since Michael Jackson’s tragic passing.

TJ has frequently attended school conferences and dealt with school related matters and this agreement, if approved by the court, allows for continuity as sanctioned by the court . Mrs. Jackson will then be freed upto focus on the more personal everyday decision making related to the lives and activities of the children.

Just as I thought the media is making out of the Jacksons situation more than it actually offered. Now Radaronline is squeeze a story out of Prince removing his earler tweet from the net:

In the text — sent this past Monday at 4:52 p.m. — Prince Michael writes “This is enough so I am texting you for the simple fact that WE DEMAND TO SPEAK TO MY GRANDMA NOW!” Prince Michael sent the text to his aunts Rebbie and Janet, and also to another relative, Austin Jackson. Janet responded: “Don’t let them pls.”

The text exchange contradicts a claim made by Randy Jackson earlier this week that Michael’s children were free to see or talk with their grandmother at any time.

Those Tweets have since been deleted from Prince’s profile and replaced with “these tweets are not our own,” which was posted from a computer and not an iPhone, which Prince usually uses when posting to his account. The most recent Tweet has also been deleted.

“There is cause for concern because Prince and Janet did exchange those text messages that were shown on his Twitter account early this morning,” a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com. “Prince was up very late last night and was in possession of his cell phone. Prince fell asleep very, very late last night, so there’s a level of speculation that he wasn’t the person to remove the tweets — that someone else did, and then posted the new bizarre message in place.”

There is absolutely NO CAUSE for concern! All it means is that it was just an outbreak of emotions and misinterpretation of the situation which everyone regretted later. Now things have calmed down, so it is time to forget about it. My only wish is that the guardianship were returned to Katherine Jackson.

Prince Michael Exposes Text Proving Janet Jackson Refused To Let Katherine Talk To Kids
    Posted on Jul 26, 2012 @ 10:00AM
By Neil Woulfe – Radar Senior News Director

Michael Jackson’s oldest child, Prince Michael, broke his silence Thursday on the drama surrounding his family by tweeting a terse text exchange between he and his aunt, Janet Jackson, which apparently shows the Control singer did not want Prince, nor Paris or Blanket for that matter, to see their grandmother, Katherine Jackson.

In the text — sent this past Monday at 4:52 PM — Prince Michael writes “This is enough so I am texting you for the simple fact that WE DEMAND TO SPEAK TO MY GRANDMA NOW!”

Prince Michael sent the text to his aunts Rebbie and Janet, and also to another relative, Austin Jackson. Janet responded: ‘Don’t let them pls.”

The text exchange contradicts a claim by Randy Jackson earlier this week that Michael’s children were free to see or talk with their grandmother at any time.

During an appearance Tuesday on MSNBC’s PoliticsNation, Randy spoke with the Rev. Al Sharpton about the altercation that took place a day earlier between some of Michael’s siblings and his children at Katherine’s Calabasas home.

“We are a family first. I want you to know that,” Randy told Sharpton.” Yesterday we did go to the home to let Paris and Prince know that they can visit with or talk to their grandma at any time. We felt someone was trying to twist the story that we were denying them access to their grandma.

Moments before Prince tweeted the text exchange, he posted this message:

“I would first like to start off this tweet by thanking the fans that have always stood by me and my family, my dad really appreciated your support and I still treasure it to this day. As I am sure everyone is well aware of the events that have been going on. I have been holding off on backing up my sister and her tweets avidly because I was waiting for the time to reveal my side.

“As long as I can remember my dad had repeatedly warned me of certain people and their ways. Although I am happy my grandma was returned, after speaking with her I realized how misguided and how badly she was lied to. I’m really angry and hurt. The following image is of a group chat I had started to several family members. This group text message I had started was replied to but they didn’t know that I could see the responses. For this whole time, they denied us contact to our grandmother. “If you continue with your lies I will continue with the truth.”

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Katherine Jackson arrived back at the Jackson family compound in Calabasas, California early Thursday, confirmed via a tweet from Paris that read, “grandma’s here!”

Hours before she returned, she gave a statement to ABC News. In it, which she read from a paper while surrounded by her kids Janet, Jermaine, and Rebbie, claiming she was “devastated” about losing custody of her grandchildren, and denying her adult children had held her against her will at an Arizona resort for 11 days.

    http://www.radaronline.com/exclusives/2012/07/prince-jackson-exposes-text-proving-janet-jackson-refused-let-katherine-talk-kids

Let me share one thought over the above. In the tension built up by the media the children were indeed extremely nervous and Janet Jackson could simply be protecting both the children and her mother from the tears and hysteria such a conversation could result it. When she said “Don’t let them, pls” she could simply mean “Please hold on, let me first explain to the children that there is no reason for them to be so fearful and worried”.

I think no one should get hysterical over what happened and the media should not be allowed to sow more division within this family. Let them settle their differences without any interference from the outside. The media is turning it into a show and is using it for their own dubious ends.

Look at how the Fox news presents the story. Despite their feigned concern you sense that they are counting on it to be continued and fanned into something bigger. You can almost feel the pleasure they are deriving from the story which is intentionally presented in a too dramatic way.

Some more information about the Jackson’s situation:

FILE: The executors of Michael Jackson’s estate say they are concerned about the welfare of the singer’s mother and his three children. In a letter posted on fan sites Tuesday, July 24, executors John Branca and John McClain says they are doing what they can to protect them from “undue influences, bullying, greed, and other unfortunate circumstances.” The letter came hours after sheriff’s deputies responded for a family disturbance at the hilltop home where Katherine Jackson and her three grandchildren live. No arrests were made, but there is an active battery investigation. Katherine Jackson was reported missing over the weekend, but is with relatives in Arizona. (AP Photo/Matt Sayles)

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Katherine Jackson is apparently back home, reuniting with Michael Jackson’s children after a judge temporarily took away her guardianship because of her days-long absence from them.

Paris Jackson tweeted early Thursday morning: “grandma’s here! (hash)thankyougod.” Katherine Jackson’s son Marlon also posted a note on Twitter saying his mother had returned, adding she looked and sounded great.

On Wednesday, a judge removed Katherine Jackson as guardian temporarily and named her grandson Tito Joe “TJ” Jackson as temporary caretaker of the late legend’s three minor children amid a bitter family dispute over Michael Jackson’s estate.

Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff issued the ruling because Katherine Jackson was in Arizona and hadn’t spoken with the children in several days. TJ Jackson now has the ability to control the hilltop home where the children live and to take on other supervision duties.

Katherine Jackson told ABC News that the court ruling was “based on a bunch of lies.”

“I am devastated that while I’ve been away, that my children, my grandchildren, have been taken away from me, and I’m coming home to see about that, also,” she said reading from a prepared statement.

She denied the suggestion made in court and in court filings to support TJ Jackson’s appointment that she was being held against her will.

“I am here today to let everybody know that I am fine and I am here with my children, and my children would never do a thing to me like that, holding me against my will,” she said while her children Randy, Janet and Rebbie were seated next to her. “It’s very stupid for people to think that.”

But on Thursday, Michael Jackson’s son Prince posted a photo of what he said was a group text message involving Rebbie and Janet in which he demanded contact with his grandmother and Janet allegedly responded: “Please don’t let them.”

“As long as I can remember my dad repeatedly warned me of certain people and their ways,” Prince Michael tweeted. “Although I am happy my grandma was returned, after speaking with her I realize how misguided and how badly she was lied to. I’m really angry and hurt.”

Beckloff said there was no evidence that Katherine Jackson had done anything wrong, but instead it appeared she was being prevented from fulfilling her role as guardian through the “intentional acts of third parties.” He didn’t elaborate but made the decision after reading court filings in which TJ Jackson expressed concern that Katherine Jackson was being prevented from returning.

He cited a Monday incident in which Janet, Randy and Jermaine Jackson arrived at the children’s home and told them they could speak with their grandmother but had to leave with them.

“This was odd and disturbing to me and (the children) and heightened our concern that our grandmother was being prohibited from returning home,” TJ Jackson wrote in a sworn statement. The incident turned into a confrontation between two male adults at the house and sheriff’s officials say it remains an ongoing battery investigation.

Beckloff listened as attorneys described Katherine Jackson’s demeanor as unusual on phone calls placed to the children hours before the hearing.

TJ Jackson’s attorney Charles Shultz also revealed in court filings that the children were forced to miss school Wednesday because of concerns about their security.

Beckloff ruled the Jackson children could not leave California without court approval.

Katherine Jackson’s attorney Perry Sanders Jr. said after the hearing that he spoke with his client as she was driving back to Los Angeles from Tucson, Ariz., where she had been since July 15.

“She sounded absolutely fine, lucid and her normal self,” he said.

Sanders plans to ask the court to reinstate Katherine Jackson as guardian of the children when she is back in Los Angeles. He was looking forward to meeting with her in person on Thursday.

The public battle was revealed early Sunday after a relative reported Katherine Jackson missing, but she was later located safely with other family members in Arizona.

Jermaine Jackson has said his mother was following doctor’s orders to cut off communications with the children, who range in age from 10 to 15. He didn’t provide further details.

In addition to concerns about the safety of Jackson’s children, some of Michael Jackson’s siblings have recently called on the executors of his estate to resign.

Randy Jackson appeared Tuesday on Al Sharpton’s MSNBC show PoliticsNation and said he believes his brother’s will is a fake and that the executors have engaged in criminal activity.

The estate, which recently reported it saw $475 million in gross earnings since Jackson’s death in June 2009, has denied wrongdoing and called the accusations “false and defamatory.”

Beckloff, who also oversees financial issues affecting Jackson’s estate, was initially reluctant to appoint a temporary guardian but changed his mind after hearing from several attorneys who expressed concern about the family’s problems.

He made the ruling after hearing TJ Jackson’s description of a “strange” conversation he had with Katherine Jackson on Tuesday evening.

“I’ve never heard my grandmother talk like that,” he said reluctantly. “In every way. The sound in her voice. The pauses.”

He said some of her speech sounded slurred and she used words that made him wonder if she was speaking in code.

Her son Marlon echoed those concerns on Twitter, complaining that siblings Janet, Randy and Jermaine were keeping her from him.

The children’s guardian ad litem, Margaret Lodise, said she spoke with the children and the two oldest, Prince and Paris, supported the appointment of a temporary guardian. Lodise did not ask the youngest son, 10-year-old Blanket, for his views.

Lodise is responsible for overseeing the children’s interests in the estate of their father.

Schultz said TJ Jackson didn’t want to replace Katherine Jackson as permanent guardian. Still, the judge noted that TJ Jackson would have to petition to become the permanent guardian within 48 hours and added that such a petition might not be heard if Katherine Jackson re-emerges.

Sanders said he would fight any move to have her permanently replaced.

He said he met with Randy and Janet Jackson in Tucson, Ariz., on Tuesday, but he was not allowed to see his client. He said he still hoped the recent events were a misunderstanding, but he described them as “chaos.”

“Now her situation was indeed very strange and I don´t doubt that the fact that she was not allowed (by whom?) to even call her grandchildren is odd and must have been disconcerting to her.”

Guys, I have the impression that the whole thing concerning Katherine was over-exaggerated. She could be getting some mild treatment and could cut off all communication herself, not to give the children a reason to feel concern for her health. They went through the hard time when their father died and don’t need additional worries. So it could be just some misunderstanding from both sides – the family wanted to spare the children from these worries but made things only worse this way. The children didn’t trust the information from the family and began panicking. Some relatives could also spill fuel into the fire and the media also helped a lot. The media treats this situation in the same way it created hype around Michael.

However the letter demanding the resignation of the Estate lawyers seems serious enough. I also do not like the idea of the guardianship being so easily taken away from Katherine just because she was away only for a week.

But I am afraid that if the Estate does not provide some percentage for the upkeep of at least the children of Michael’s brothers and sisters, it will deepen the division in the family and will be a cause of a constant rift, envy and anger. I wish Paris and Prince could have their say and ask the Estate to make some provisions for the other children as well.

Randy may be so adamant about the will and fairness in distribution of the money because as far as I remember he was the one who made big financial sacrifices during the 2005 trial (mortgaged his house?) and also brought in Thomas Mesereau even despite the apparent high costs of it. Could he be experiencing financial difficulties since then? If this is so, it was his desire to help Michael which brought him into this trouble.

Will or no will, to me it seems that it would still be impossible for the family to be totally separated from the money generated by Michael’s Estate. It will be simply embarassing for Michael’s children to be super rich while their cousins go through financial trouble. Some compromise should be worked out here.

    Just my opinion.

The fact that Mrs. Jackson sounded odd on the telephone with TJ can have several reasons. When old people are in a new ,unfamiliar environment ,that can cause a confused state, in it´s extreme a a sc reactive psychotic state. Now her situation was indeed very strange and I don´t doubt that the fact that she was not allowed (by whom?) to even call her grandchildren is odd and must have been disconcerting to her.If it was a case of ministroke she should have been taken to a hospital asap. And Tito withdrew his signature on that letter.. wonder why.Much will come out when the guardianship goes to court. Now all is mostly guessing. It would indeed be good, esp. for Blanket(please somebody, change that nickname,he does not like it)to have a stepfather of sorts, none of the uncles qualify for that.Do they even look after their own bio children? It is not good that the guardianship will be in court immediately as she returns.Better have only a temporary one til Katherine over-comes this shock or whatever troubles her.

Erin Jacobs has been an invaluable source of information. Here is another article she has sent out:

    MJ KIDS
    TJ NOW TEMP GUARDIAN
    KATHERINE OUT

Katherine Jackson has been temporarily stripped of her guardianship over Michael Jackson’s 3 kids, and an L.A. judge just appointed Tito Jackson’s son TJ to become the temporary guardian.

And there’s more … Judge Mitch Beckloff advised TJ and his lawyer, Charles Shultz, to seek a permanent guardianship, after hearing stories that Katherine may have been held against her will “from third parties.” Translation — Randy, Janet, Jermaine and Rebbie.

Before handing down the ruling, TJ’s lawyer told the judge TJ got a strange phone call from Katherine yesterday. TJ said, “I’ve never heard my grandmother talk like that.” TJ added, “She wasn’t sharp. The pauses, choice of vocabulary … she has not used certain phrases like that before.” TJ thought she was talking in code. TJ choked up as he addressed the court.

TMZ broke the story that TJ would make this move — a move supported by Paris, Prince, and Blanket, as well as the Michael Jackson Estate.

The judge said Katherine was not suspended for wrongdoing, but that she was prevented from doing her guardianship by the third parties who are clearly Randy, Janet, Jermaine and Rebbie.

Katherine’s lawyer, Sandra Ribera, added that she (Sandra) has been to the house several times recently and believes Katherine has been held against her will.

Katherine’s lawyer, Perry Sanders, says he would vigorously oppose any move to permanently strip Katherine of her guardianship duties.

Perry also says … when Katherine returns to L.A., he will file a motion to reinstate her as guardian.

Here is the latest news about Katherine and the children:

Katherine Jackson Finally Talks To Her Grandkids, She’s On Her Way Home
    Posted on Jul 25, 2012 @ 06:00AM
By Jen Heger – Radar Assistant Managing Editor

Katherine Jackson was finally able to talk to her grandchildren, Paris, Prince Michael, and Blanket after more than a week Tuesday night after her attorney, Perry Sanders, flew to Tucscon, Arizona where the Jackson family matriarch has been holed up all week with no access to a telephone, computer, or television, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.

Sanders flew to Tuscon on Tuesday, a source connected to the case tells us. “Perry went to the spa where Katherine was staying and was still unable to meet with Katherine in person. However, he did talk to Jermaine and Janet Jackson who were also there. The attorney explained the lack of communication has been very confusing and cause for concern. Katherine had no phone in her room, and there is no cell service at the resort. Perry insisted that Katherine be able to speak to the grandkids, and it finally happened last night. Perry urged Janet and Jermaine to have her mother come home immediately because of the pending custody hearing which WILL happen this morning in a Los Angeles courtroom.”

The conversation “was extremely emotional, and Paris was just so relieved to hear from her grandmother. She was very emotional on the phone, and Katherine assured her that everything was going to be OK. Katherine wanted to come home immediately last night, but there were no flights available. She is extremely upset at her children for doing this, and was kept in the dark the entire time,” the insider adds.

There is a routine probate hearing Wednesday morning for Michael Jackson’s estate, and Katherine’s disappearance will be dealt with also.

There has been reports that some want to replace Mrs.Jackson´s guardianship with some other family member.Reason: She has been “missing” and has not had contact with Michael´s children.Who ever thought that isolation from your loved ones is somekind of rest
and vacation?Jermaine and Randy are behind their childsupport payments.Better that some siblings get a restraining order that no further fierce fights occur to disturb Mrs.Jackson and PPB.-The suggested change of guardianship + the reason for it is totally circular reasoning.

I don’t think that’s Jermaine looks more like Austin Brown (Rebbie’s son)

I’m just appalled at all the reaction this whole thing is getting yesterday i was on Twitter and was disgusted at the abuse i saw coming from crazy Janet Jackson fans to Paris Jackson here’s example of some of the abuse i came across.

One said to Paris that her and her brother was a “experment” and that they don’t blame Katherine for not wanting to look after an experiment.

Another said to Paris that her father was a drug addict that’s why he cut ties with the familt so they don’t know.

I hope Katherine will get the best medical care possible. Why not UCLA, I am sure they have specialists in cardiovascular illnesses, and that in the elderly. Also they work in teams so someone is always available. To my knowledge Mrs.Katherine Jackson takes something for her bloodpressure. Dr. Metzger is a specialist in internal medicine and rheumatic illnesses.
Mini and strokes do occur in elderly with bloodpressure. And Helena you are so right that there are new and great treatments of stroke when given within the first hours of a stroke.
Now it is difficult to figure the timing and sequence of all the turmoil in the Jackson familly.
And if and when the alleged ministroke occurred. This was absolutely the wrong time to write that “wrong letter”.My worst suspicion is that some sibs may try to get the guardianship transferred to them. But ofcourse I really don´t know. In the future though a good medical team will be better than secret vacations in Arizona. And it is not necessary Katherine attend all occasions her other children arraingne.Mrs. J should not fall into the trap of luxurious butique medicine, the best is to be found in university hospitals.I don´t ofcourse know who her regular doctor is.

“I truly want those three arrested if for nothing else harassment”

Lynette, let us not fall into extremes. The damage some Jacksons are doing to themselves now is big enough by itself. As to the children it seems that the other part of the family is taking care of them, not to mention the Estate.

It seems that during that “vacation” of theirs the Jacksons quarrelled with their mother, she probably had a mini-stroke (all our prayers go to her now!), she is hopefully recovering but cannot be moved. That is why they cannot bring her to the children and suggest that the children go with them to their grandmother instead.

But the best way out would be to place Katherine into a hospital as she requires now intensive care and most urgent measures to help restore the brain blood circulation! They are losing time over all this squabble! The brain restores best within several hours after the stroke! The Jacksons can simply damage their mother due to their medical ignorance!

The children and the Estate have the full right to insist on a medical check up and proper treatment of Katherine Jackson!

After all the Jacksons themselves say that she had a mini-stroke. And such cases require immediate medical intervention! The Jacksons have probably summoned some doctor to Katherine’s side, but this is absolutely not enough.

It isn’t the time to think of ‘publicity issues’ or something else – it is the time to think of their mother’s health!

Oh, my God, how terrible the whole thing is! Poor children – they are subjected to one blow after another! And these people are supposed to be caring for Michael’s children!

We can imagine what Michael would have thought about this situation.

Lynette, thank you for the link. At least the Estate Executors are thinking of the children. Here is the text of their message:

FROM THE ESTATE OF MICHAEL JACKSON

We thank the fans for their keen interest in the matters that have been reported on recently regarding the Estate and Mrs. Jackson.

We will not comment any further on the letter we received from certain of the Jackson siblings. We think our letter in response speaks for itself.

We are acutely concerned about the welfare of Mrs. Jackson, and most particularly with Michael’s minor children. We are concerned that we do what we can to protect them from undue influences, bullying, greed, and other unfortunate circumstances. While we do not have standing to directly intervene, we have monitored the situation and will continue to do so. We believe measures are being put in place that will help protect them from what they are having to deal with.

We take these matters very seriously and will continue to report on them as appropriate.

    Sincerely,

    John Branca

I don’t know what you know about today Helena but Janet, Jermaine and Randy went to the Jackson kids house and the police had to be called. It seems that there was a fight though who it involved for sure no one knows. That is from the Police in Calabasas. It was also reported on another site that Randy was trying to coerce the children into going with them to see their Grandmother in Arizona by private plane. Prince stood his ground and said no his Grandmother could come home. One article reported that Paris became hysterical and said just let me talk to my Grandmother. She also tweeted that she still has not been allowed to talk to her.
The Jackson family has really gone over the top in this one.

Actually what appears to be happening is this: The Jackson siblings may be trying to get control of Katherine’s Administrators status.
If you read the letter and have followed today’s events with the family it shows their intentions.I am very afraid that the unnamed businessman that was mentioned in all the article that I read is in fact Howard Mann. He is the only other business associate of Katherine’s that has a stake in this. He is the one that is behind all of the appearances of the children on various talk shows. His contact with Katherine demands it. Here is what I wrote as a Twitlonger just now.
I wanted to know who Trent Jackson was so I looked for the documents from the Howard Mann/Marc Shaffel lawsuit. I know everyone remembers this one because it was the one about The Jackson Secret Family Vault and the book Never Can Say Goodbye. I will talk more about that at a different time but you have to just believe me for now that these two men are not to be trusted and it goes all the way back to the 2005 trial and even before. That lawsuit is also tied to the HTW lawsuit that the Estate filed. That is where I found The Declaration of Trent Jackson.
In it you will see that according to his declaration in support of HTW, done as a favor to both his Aunt and Michael, it was Michael who actually hired him prior to his death to be Katherine’s assistant. The family was in full support of him at this time so what could possibly have happened to make them want to oust him from that house now?
I know that some people don’t like to use TMZ as a source but there was an article on there the day after the Jackson Family sent that letter. It stated that a source said that the Jackson brothers were in financial trouble and could not get money from the Estate because they were left out of the will. Unfortunately much of what was written in that article makes sense if you follow the story.
If for some reason like a stroke or some other inability to make decisions someone in that family could petition the court for a conservatorship or a guardianship of Katherine’s Administrator status in the Michael Jackson Estate. That would appear to be the direction that the last few days are taking us.
We have found out that in April an unnamed business associate reported to the authorities that family members were abusing Katherine. She adamantly denied those allegations when they went to the house to talk to her. But my question is now who is that business associate because from everything that the Jacksons have implied in the last few days it would seem that they are in fact accusing Trent. That is why this whole thing looks like as Alan Duke put it “a palace coup”.
It would appear after the writing of the letter, where they state that Katherine is not in good physical health due to stress in the family and being “stuck in the middle” they want John Branca and John McClain to resign as Executors of the Michael Jackson Estate. How did it get from stress of being stuck in the middle to them?
The first thing I asked myself is who is she stuck between because if the Estate is on one side who is on the other? On the one hand you have the Estate and Trent who they are implying is working for the Estate he is the one they are accusing of abuse or stressing her out to the point she had a mini-stroke. Who would have the capability to make Katherine feel like she would be stuck in the middle but them, her children.
Then today we find out that the police were called to the home of the Jackson kids and their Grandmother and family members once again tried to coerce them into going with them. This was a huge mistake on their part because any decision that is made now at this point in order to get their Grandmother back home will be under duress in a court of law. They also made the world know outright that these kids matter far less to them than their Father’s money does. So it is a terrible question to ask now but when do these kids get to feel like they are wanted for themselves and not for what their father left them? Not even their own family appears to be able to say that otherwise Katherine would be home. John Branca and John McClain please don’t you dare give up.

“this morning Howard Mann was on Good Morning America. He said that there is a definite division in the family because of the Estate”– Lynette

Lynette, Mann is of course an ugly head, but over here he seems to be right. I cannot understand how the family can be divided because of the Estate – the lawyers are doing a marvellous job! I am afraid that those who speak out against the Estate executors do not think of Michael’s best interests. Their primary task was to repay their debts and stabilize the financial situation of Michael’s children, and not take care of Michael’s brothers and sisters. And this task is being fulfilled in a superb way.

I also wonder what Michael’s siblings would want to do in the highly unlikely case the will were annulled. Do they have another will to present? And if they don’t have it does the law allow a person’s estate to be split up between his brothers and sisters if the deceased has direct hiers, his children?

I have found the following in a legal dictionary:

Subject to the rights of the surviving spouse, children have superior inheritance rights compared to those of other blood relatives. In many jurisdictions, the same principle applies to adopted children of the intestate. Once the debts of the estate have been paid and the surviving spouse has taken his or her legal share, the remainder of the estate is apportioned in equal distributive shares, the portions specified by the law of descent and distribution, among the number of children of the decedent.

The rights of the decedent’s child or children are greater than not only those of the deceased’s brothers and sisters, nephews and nieces, and other collateral kindred but also of the deceased’s parents.

So what are Michael’s brothers and sisters counting on? What’s the point of making so much noise about the will if even if the will were absent nothing would change? Or is the sole purpose of all his clamor to get on the nerves of Katherine Jackson and the Estate’s executors?

Here is an article which explains a couple of things in the current problem with the Jacksons.

Katherine Jackson ‘Blindsided’ By Her Children’s Letter To Michael Jackson’s Executors
Posted on Jul 20, 2012 @ 09:30AM print it send it

Katherine Jackson was blindsided by news a letter had been written by several of her children to the executors of Michael Jackson’s estate, demanding their resignation, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.

As we previously reported, several media outlets obtained a letter allegedly from Janet, Rebie, Tito, Randy, and Jermaine Jackson demanding that the Jackson Estate executors John Branca and John McClain resign immediately because they (the Jackson siblings) believe that the late singer’s will was a fake. This comes after three failed legal challenges in the matter already. The letter also alleged that Katherine Jackson was in bad health and had recently suffered a mini-stroke. Katherine’s lawyer told CNN she is in good health and did not suffer a mini-stroke.

Katherine “had absolutely NO idea that her children had written to the executors of Michael’s estate. Katherine was extremely upset because this isn’t something that she would ever authorize or support, period. Katherine has no issues with the executors, and she is satisfied with the work that John Branca and John McClain are doing. Katherine is extremely upset with her children for writing the letter, and is extremely disappointed that the letter was made public,” a source close to the matriarch of the Jackson family tells us.

On Wednesday, Michael Jackson’s daughter, Paris, put her aunts and uncles on notice and said on Twitter that she will, “defend my beloved family member with all I have, even if it means from other family members. I am going to clarify right now that what has been said about my grandmother is a rumor and nothing has happened, she is completely fine. I will defend my beloved family member with all I have, even if it means from other family members.”

According to our sources, the letter was written because “the wrongful death lawsuit that Katherine Jackson was pressured into filing against AEG for the wrongful death of Michael is turning into a disaster. Katherine has been deposed, and it was a grueling process, and it’s very taxing on her. The Jackson siblings wrote this letter, even though there have been three failed challenges of the will, and the statute of limitations to contest the will has expired to try and get money from Michael’s estate. Make no mistake, this is all about money. There is a very good reason why Michael intentionally left his siblings and his father out of the will. Michael’s will was very clear, and the beneficiaries are his three children and Katherine. Period. End of story. The Jackson siblings have no legal recourse as far as the will is considered and the person responsible for Michael’s death is behind bars, Dr. Conrad Murray,” the insider revealed.

At the time of Michael Jackson’s death he was over $500 million dollars in debt. Recent court documents filed by the executors state that the estate has a gross earnings of $475 million dollars, and the outstanding debt will soon be whittled down to nothing in the very near future. “Michael Jackson’s legacy and the financial legacy has been single-handedly resurrected by John Branca and John McClain, and the lucrative deals they have made for the estate. Many people said that Michael was naive when it came to business, yes, he spent money he didn’t have, but the smartest thing he ever did, besides buying the Beatle’s record catalogue, was to appoint John Branca and John McClain as the executors. Michael trusted those two men and respected them as human beings. He knew they would always do the right thing, and they have. They have carried out his wishes to the letter,’ the source said.

Katherine has requested “increases in her monthly allowance for expenses, and the Estate has never opposed that, and it has always been granted. The only thing Katherine’s children are doing now is causing her more stress than she needs. Katherine has an excellent lawyer who looks out for her best interests,” the insider stated.

Whenever the executors are about to sign a new contract on behalf of the estate, “the lawyers submit it to the judge for his review. Almost all of the deals are approved by the judge, even though the Estate often isn’t required to get approval. There has been absolute transparency in all of the business deals that the executors have made, as well as the debts that have been paid off,” the source said.

    http://www.radaronline.com/exclusives/2012/07/katherine-jackson-blindsided-her-childrens-letter-michael-jacksons-executors

Let me only note that the gross earnings generated by the Estate are gross earnings only, so some deductions will still have to be made and the net sum will be smaller than $475 mln. However it seems that the debt is diminishing very quickly. And the current dispute looks like being all about money – again.

I’ve just checked my emails and see that David sent some information about the situation with Katherine. It turns out that she went on a vacation to Arizona last week with Janet, Rebbie, and Randy Jackson. http://www.cnn.com/2012/07/22/showbiz/michael-jackson-mom-missing-person/index.html?hpt=hp_t2

Though David believes that “Katherine is safe with Rebbie, Randy, and whoever else she is with at the moment”, I am not so sure of it. I may be overreacting of course but they could have easily had, well… you know… a family dispute over all those issues, and given her old age it could have been too much for Katherine. If they say that she had a mini-stroke, I do not see why we should doubt their words. They don’t want the grandchildren around as they want to spare Katherine from more nervousness and all of them from more disputes. They themselves are probably frightened as hell at the moment.

Oh my God, is Katherine Jackson indeed missing?

Katherine Jackson, Mother Of Michael And Janet Jackson, Reported Missing (UPDATE)
The Huffington Post | By Gene Demby
    Posted: 07/22/2012 3:36 am Updated: 07/22/2012 8:36 am

According to CNN, Jackson’s lawyer believed she had been traveling with Rebbie Jackson, her daughter. “I’m concerned that she’s not safe,” Sandra Ribera, the lawyer, said. Jackson is 82.

A police spokesman said that the missing persons report was filed by Trent Jackson, Katherine’s nephew. “The report will be referred to the Homicide/Missing Persons Unit, and they will be handling the investigation,” Lt. Josh Thai told RadarOnline.

Michael’s three children have lived with Katherine since their father’s death in 2009, Ribera said. Ribera added that Katherine had not contacted the grandchildren in a week.

Early Sunday morning, Paris Jackson, Michael’s 14-year-old daughter, said the same on Twitter, and asked for the public’s help in finding her grandmother.

yes , my grandmother is missing . i haven’t spoken with her in a week i want her home now .

    — Paris Jacksoη (@ParisJackson) July 22, 2012
if anybody sees my grandmother , please call the authorities or this number— (818)-876-0186 it’s the security number .. thank you so much

    — Paris Jacksoη (@ParisJackson) July 22, 2012
The missing persons report comes in the middle of a heated dispute over Michael’s will, and conflicting reports over Katherine’s health. Michael’s siblings claim the will was forged, and have called for the firing of John Branca and John McClain, the executors of his estate.

Michael’s will stated that Michael’s assets be placed in a family trust and that Katherine be named guardian of his three children.

”Since the passing of Michael, our beloved brother, you have failed to perform your duties as executors of his estate, but what you have not failed at is taking advantage of a grieving mother, father and a grieving family,” they said in a letter to the executors.

The sibling’s letter also said that Jackson had a “mini-stroke.”

Paris Jackson, Michael’s daughter, tweeted at her uncle, Randy Jackson, and accused him of spreading lies, according to BET.com. “”@randyjackson8 hello dear FAMILY member i don’t appreciate you telling everyone things that aren’t true thank you very much.”

“I am going to clarify right now that what has been said about my grandmother is a rumor and nothing has happened, she is completely fine,” she tweeted. The posts have since been deleted.

The sibings feel uncertain over their economics in the future, now that Michael is no longer
there to give money to his mother which she then doled out.On a fathers day old Joe called Michael asking for 7 mln$.Michael gave some to his mother. And why was Jermaine so lovey-dovey with Thome ?Maybe they feel that shaking up the will some money will come their way.Now the family is quite big with Michaels children adding 3.I have never heard that grownup siblings have the right to inherit, unless it is specified in the will or there are no other familymembers alive.

“I really wonder why the siblings are so angry, instead of supporting their mother in the AEG trial.”- Susanne

I wonder too. Someone is turning the Jacksons against the Estate Executors though they have worked miracles with Michael’s finances. One blogger approached me in my personal blog and claimed that now these lawyers are simply repaying the debts which they themselves accrued while Michael was alive. How this blogger came to such a conclusion only God knows, but similar allegations can very well be the basis for the current mess with the Jacksons if they believed these stories.

I disagreed with that blogger but my position only won me a label of someone fake and working for Branca. Considering that this blogger claims she knows “all” about me, but at the same time thinks that I am no other but David Edwards, I had to make a very outgoing and risky (for myself) comment about it. I hope it provides irrefutable proof that my views are my views only and I am absolutely not in collusion with Branca or anyone else:

As you could see the first guest in this blog was an author who says she knows that I am “fake” and possibly working for the Estate, Branca, Sony and all other villains on this planet. She claims she knows ALL about me, though in fact she doesn’t know even the basic things. Firstly I am a woman (and consequently not David Edwards) and a Russian at that. If the rest of this author’s research is done in the same splendid way, then all I can do is congratulate her readers on the eye-opening discovery they have probably just made.

The reason I cannot be working for the Estate is very simple. You can check the recent ridiculous law adopted by our God-forsaken government and see for yourself – now each entity receiving some funds from abroad (even for non-commercial purposes) is being called “a foreign agent” and will come under the scrutiny of all our secret services taken together. All normal people oppose this law of course, but up till now without any success.

So while our present government is still in power Bonnie Cox can be absolutely sure that I am not working for Branca or anyone else – except Michael Jackson and his good name of course.

However since this blogger finds fault with John Branca for the accumulation of Michael’s debts I need to have a look into this situation.

Guys, I apologize to everyone who has left a comment here for not being able to answer them at the moment. This situation arose so suddenly that I had to drop all my other plans and rush in a totally different direction. Hopefully it will produce some kind of a post.

Helena, I agree with you regarding this letter. If the letter of the siblings is indeed authentic, I don’t understand the style of it – too emotional and fierce. Something directly must have triggered this anger, now after three years. But this letter won’t help them.
I don’t want to know how the estate would look like now if it were in the hands of the family. Perhaps even more debts. The best thing the administrators can do is to hand it over DEBT-FREE to Michael’s children. And this is almost reached, they probably will even manage to increase the assets. The family never could have done that.
So I really wonder why the siblings are so angry, instead of supporting their mother in the AEG trial. If they know something and have some concrete evidence that something is not right, it is not in their letter.
