Michael Jackson’s life and death. IT IS EVERYBODY’S BUSINESS NOW…

August 29, 2012

VMJ: Let me introduce Susanne as our new author. The post she is making on Michael’s birthday will surely bring tears to your eyes and will explain a lot about how we feel.

Since early July 2009 I am on a journey of which I can tell precisely how it started, but of which I don’t know how it will continue and whether it will ever end, as I am still on my way.

When Michael Jackson died on June 25, 2009, I never thought that I would once delve so deeply into this person. I had been no fan – I am not a fan type of person – and I always was sceptical about artists who so much operate with emotions and show in order to influence people. I had a problem to take this seriously, it partly seemed false to me, spurious – just a show! I didn’t take Michael Jackson seriously in his desire to make the world a better place.

And yet: I regarded him as a musical genius, I always thought his music is – wow – unearthly great. And a concert that was aired on TV enthralled and fascinated me almost against my will. He had an undeniable charisma and talent.

With the scandals surrounding him I didn’t occupy myself. I never was gullible with regard to the media, but somehow eventually you come to think there might be some truth to some stories. To be sure, I never believed the two cases of molestation. I always thought that this was about money, but I had no evidence. So I did not speculate and separated these scandals from his artistic works. Today I know that it cannot be separated at all. When the trial took place in 2005 I only thought: Why does he always bring himself into such situations? But I didn’t want to know details. It was awkward, speculative and embarrassing.

And then he died – almost exactly 4 years after his acquittal. For many longtime admirers “the universe suffered a crack”, as one friend expressed it. It dawned on me: This man was too famous, too influential, too world-shaking, too “controversial” – as many phrase it – just to skate over this. So I got involved in the story of his life, and my journey began.

What now has accumulated inside of me within these three years after Michael Jackson’s death, turned the picture I had totally upside down. And not only that: This work actually changed my life. I obtained completely new perspectives, I got to know a lot of new people, I see the world with different eyes – and I am infinitely aghast about the brainwash we were subjected to.

It soon became clear to me: Something is totally different here than with other superstars. This man is completely different from other famous and rich celebrities and cannot be compared to anyone. What happened to him in his life is unparalleled. There is no comparable life story where so many challenges had to be mastered.

And I tell it straight away: After all I know today, I have to go even further: There is no comparable witch hunt for a person in our modern times. There is no comparable case in our civilized world where a world-famous public figure was ruined in such a perfidious and malicious way and the whole world watched. Now, after three years, I gradually understand it better and better: There is more behind it, here someone was combatted purposefully who didn’t fit in the system and who perhaps was too influential. And here a massive manipulation by the media took place.

I learned to understand his supporters who always fought for him, who were called “crazy, rabid fans” and were never taken seriously, just because they would have done everything for him. But the committed fans knew what happened, they were the only ones searching for the facts. Today I know that the combative and partly aggressive dedication of the fans to Michael bases on the extreme unfairness Michael was treated with and still is on the part of the media and his accusers. It is unbearable to them, and meanwhile I also cannot bear it any longer.

In this period since his death Michael became my brother, he became “Brother Michael”, like many African-Americans call him. I adopted him posthumous, like many of his fans also see him as a family member. Just because I understood that an appalling, irreparable injustice was done to him.

Too late to apologize!

On June 25, 2011, after two years, suddenly the idea of a written composition arose, a recapitulation of what mounted up inside of me within these first two years: an enormous amount of information and knowledge, findings and convictions, as well as emotions like grief, guilt and anger.

First I wanted to fathom it for myself, this development, this journey into a foreign world. Then I also had the wish to explain it to others, particularly those who see me as strange, who don’t understand the commitment, who regard the topic Michael Jackson as insignificant or finished.

And then, however, I realized: I don’t have to explain anything. I don’t have to justify myself, and I am tired of being looked at with consternation when I talk about Michael. I indeed saw people turning red when I mentioned Michael Jackson, as if he were a sore subject. I am so tired of it!

Of course there are perhaps more important issues that we have to stand up for. But this is about the root of the evil, about a social problem, not only about MJ. The “man in the mirror” became the mirror himself for what is wrong in our oh so civilized society. He is an example, the best example to show where intolerance, slander, decrial begins. And the best example to show where it can lead to: to death! And here, at this root of the evil, all the other problems originate – when people argue about issues, when they want to push through their own interests, when they want to impose their will, when it comes to power, when it comes to money and profit, when it comes to hate and envy, when they want to destroy others, etc. etc.

Interestingly, shortly after I started to write down my journey, news broke about the media scandal in Great Britain with the tabloid “News of the World”. MJ supporters had signed petitions months before against the media mogul Rupert Murdoch, because NOTW had spread innumerable lies about MJ. Jackson’s advocates had denounced these methods of the media for years. But they hadn’t been taken seriously.

Jackson, who for example had his hotel suites checked by his security team before his check-in in a hotel, was proclaimed as crazy for that, but he experienced himself that hidden cameras had been installed in bathrooms and planes to film him secretly. So why did it take so long for the public to talk about these methods? Because celebrities are regarded as fair game?

Now, after these scandals, after these findings, everybody should be able to consider whether exactly someone like Michael Jackson might also have become such a victim. Now it actually should dawn on everybody how the falsified picture of this man came into being. And it is not only about a “phone hacking” scandal, to which the whole scandal in Great Britain was reduced, but about the persistent circulation of lies to ruin someone, and apparently lies are regarded as a harmless peccadillo, whereas phone-hacking is declared a crime. However, one has to wonder which one has the more severe consequences.

Bottom line, I had to write my journey off my chest, hoping that – in case somebody would read it – at the same time some people revise their manipulated views of Michael Jackson, but above all, that some people get aroused to turn their back on this factitiousness of media, politics and society, instead of participating in it. Michael Jackson is the perfect prototype for it to study.

Whoever studied Michael Jackson’s case in the years since his death and followed the internet activities around his person, realized that his death had massive effects on thousands, if not millions of people which cannot be compared to those of other stars like Elvis or John Lennon. There was also a lot of mourning for these persons and they are not forgotten, but in the case of Michael this was an unequaled larger phenomenon and first and foremost spread over all continents. Many of his supporters now get involved in charity activities, in environmental protection or against racial discrimination and wish to emulate Michael’s ideals. They are not only longtime fans, but also people who came to know Michael only after his death. Due to their investigations he became a role model to many of them – worldwide.

On me these investigations had effects as well.

It started with the fact that Michael brought music back to me. After I had constantly listened to music when I was younger, had made music myself and could not exist without music, I have not listened much to music for years. The stressful job I had took all my energy, wore me down and made me uninterested. Music faded completely into the background. Now I received music back from Michael as an elixir.

When I realized how Michael dealt with all the hostilities and cruel accusations and lies, he also became a role model for me. Watching how he endured this appalling trial, which most people wouldn’t have survived, with so much dignity, and how he fought for a future, makes him a shining example. It takes a lot not to lose the faith in humanity and yourself in this case.

I learned through him that despite a sea of problems in life you can go on as a decent person, without assignments of guilt, without guilt complexes, without encapsulating oneself, with your head held up, but also humble and grateful for what was successful.

I also learned through him how to reduce my own prejudices, how to be more tolerant towards those who seem to be strange, but who I don’t really know.

I learned to set priorities differently. All what we apparently regard as important and desirable in our society – a good education, a good job, the safeguard of our future and retirement, a good life on a material basis – is so shallow when in the process we become selfish and indifferent bastards who only care for our own interests and don’t give a damn about the fate of other people. We can look down on a person who couldn’t manage to get a foothold and who is a social outcast, but the important thing is if his heart is in the right place. In addition, being jealous of others who supposedly have a better life is a huge problem. It’s the source of a lot of hate and strife.

I have never thought much of superficiality and always searched for backgrounds for the assessment of persons or situations, but Michael’s case was another learning process for me.

Life doesn’t make sense without standing up for others who are disadvantaged or treated unjustly. Actually, our society can only work with solidarity for each other. I learned that people who once were successful and achieved a lot, can also be pushed to the edge of society and become outsiders and underprivileged. When it comes to justice, Michael was hugely underprivileged. And to me someone like him has the same right to be supported, that we stand up for him and give him back his dignity and his place in society. Is there one reason that a worldwide superstar has no right to that, especially when he did so much for the world?

My world view has changed to a great extent. I am extremely cautious and distrustful regarding media coverage. In the first instance, I almost don’t believe anything anymore what I am told in the media. When I want to know something for sure, I do my own research, which is nowadays much easier with the help of the internet. Of course the internet is also a fishy soup and full of untruth (especially if you think of such dreadful websites like Topix, which masks as a news site and only exists to offer a forum for all kinds of disturbed personalities to defame others), however, it is much more possible now to gain access to sources and to search for origins of stories.

I learned that media cannot be differentiated anymore between tabloids, who never had been believable anyway, and mainstream media, whose news was once considered trustworthy and accurate. The boundaries got obliterate, as well as the methods. All mainstream media today have only one aim: ratings. And they resort to extremes to outdo one another. It’s like the development in professional cycling: At some point some started with doping to gain better results, and in the end everybody did it to remain competitive. However, the dramatic consequence is that we are manipulated by the media and treated like a flock of sheep that swallows everything that is served to them. With this we completely lose our ability to think independently and to reflect. And this is dangerous for democratic processes.

We have to ask ourselves: What’s that got to do with us? Why should we still give so much attention to what happened to Michael Jackson? I know it is too arduous and time-consuming for most people to look below the surface. When there is no real interest, people don’t do it. This interest must be sparked off by something, in order to dig deeper. To me Michael’s death was that trigger. Something about it seemed sad and unjust – and I started to dig. And this happened to a lot of people. They woke up through Michael’s death. The sad thing is, of course, that it needed his death to wake up.

But whether there is interest or not, I think it’s everybody’s business, because everybody has talked about MJ at some time in his/her life, because everybody is part of this society that condemned a man who was just different and lived differently, but who did never harm to anybody – on the contrary: who did so much good to the world.

What happened here can happen again at any time. It can happen to somebody else, for the same reasons. As long as this is not worked off and clarified, as long as people only shrug their shoulders and say: What do I have to do with it? – so long nothing will change, and so long the case Michael Jackson will not be closed. This is not the problem of a megastar, this is a human problem, a problem of society.

Indifference is worse than hate. Hate is visible and can be exposed, but indifference is not tangible, it leads to mass stultification and mass manipulation and impedes change and enlightenment. History showed it again and again.

It’s now three years that I devote myself to this cause. And it is very difficult to bear when I see some 5 minute superficial and inaccurate report about MJ on TV for which they obviously researched not more than half a day and used the wrong sources. I really wonder how Michael coped with it. You need to be extremely thick-skinned. I hope for his children that they won’t have to deal with it in the same way.

And the most important question remains: What is behind it, when such a kind-hearted, gentle and helping human being is so demonized? I leave this open, everybody can answer it for him/herself.

Eventually, I want to quote a comment left by a person named Lizard76 on PositivelyMichael on April 12, 2010, because I cannot say it in better words:

“It’s vitally important to me that I not forget — and that the world doesn’t forget — what happened to Michael. I was thinking about all the destructive lies that have led to war, murder, torture, political assassinations, and economic devastation in the last decade. Compared to some of those things, I know that people think Michael’s death is no big deal. But the similarity, to me, is that lies and the manipulation of the press can be lethal. In that way, Michael’s death seems almost worse, because it was hatred, injustice, and outright lies aimed at bringing down a human being we all knew. It’s easy to dismiss a nameless, faceless cabal of “terrorists” or political parties, but this was Michael — we watched him grow up. He was someone we knew.

And just like when we go into a sovereign country, bomb the heck out of it, and then blame that country for not being able to get back on its feet, society “bombed” Michael Jackson every day, then reacted with disdain when he couldn’t get back on his feet, and dismissed his death as something unconnected to our own actions.

If Michael really did pray every night that he would be vindicated, then I am taking over that prayer for him tonight. Vindication won’t bring him back, but my hope is that it will force individuals to keep looking at what happened and how we let it happen. Maybe that lesson can translate into some of the other areas I mentioned. I know people’s hearts can change, because many have already. If they can change towards Michael, then maybe they can change towards each other.”

I have nothing more to add to this except: Please let’s make that change!

Happy Birthday, Michael!

May the Heavens have a great party today celebrating you together with the help of all the great musicians that followed you within these three years.

Dear friends, sorry for a month of silence from me. Firstly, it was due to the assassination of our great guy and Russian opposition leader Boris Nemtsov which made me totally collapse and fall apart for quite a time. They not only harass us but they also kill.

Some young idiots had themselves photographed right on the murder place holding posters in their hands that say “I’m proud of my country”:

And the second reason is that it turned out that the fractured bone of my arm had not consolidated for a year and a half since it broke in 2013. I had to go to hospital for another operation and hopefully this time the result will be a better one. Now I am home and will try to write a new post within the next few days (if nothing else happens in the volcano place I live in).

“If I look at the world at the moment it feels to me as if the study of Michael’s life and death was meant to bring me (us) to a next step, to a next level where we can realize certain mechanisms in other areas around us.» – Susannerb

Exactly, Susanne. Michael definitely brought us together to help us understand and stand up to a very special danger which the world has never encountered before.

Like for example the manipulation of news that we can see right now in form of an information war within the newly emerged “cold war” between East and West. It seems Russian state media has learned a lot from the American tabloid system and now perfected it for their own purpose. Without Michael I probably wouldn’t have realized and studied what is going on here.

True again. I wouldn’t have realized what our horrible media is doing now if I hadn’t first analyzed and seen the same done to Michael. The difference is that western media mobilized the world public for character assassination of one person only – Michael Jackson, and Russian politicians and media are now mobilizing our population (and some people abroad) against whole countries and nations of their choice.

Western media did it to Michael mostly for profit and also to fit some people’s agenda, and probably thought it was much fun and that they would be able to check the process and localize it, but once the virus was out and the experiment of mass brainwashing of the people was successful it was employed by our unscrupulous politicians and applied to politics.

Tabloids proved that they could convince the public of almost any crazy idea about Michael, and by applying exactly the same technique our media now also proves that it can convince our population of almost any craziness about the outside world.

Anyone who knows what was done to Michael will recognize all the hallmarks of the method – they throw a lie and run with it, and by the time it is refuted they have already built another hundred of lies on its basis. And even refuting the original lie does not change anything. The amount of lies is so big that it creates a different reality where the sheer number of lies acquires a new quality – the general feeling is that “there is no smoke without fire”, “everyone knows the damning facts” and “all people who talk about it can’t be wrong”. And it doesn’t matter that 99,99% of these “damning facts” are actually lies. All that matters is the effect they produced.

In short those who have seen how the public was brainwashed about Michael Jackson will be able to realize how the Russian population is being brainwashed now about the outside world. Lies work and their effect is devastating – many of my compatriots are shaking with noble (!) fury at the atrocities allegedly committed by others, while these atrocities are actually committed by our own politicians.

Let’s not forget that our MJ studies can/should take us to a next level: To uncover destructive lies about each other, about nations, about religions, to find truth and mutual understanding – and peace!

In times like these you can almost physically feel that LIES KILL and the only healing power able to prevent a total catastrophie is TRUTH.

@ljmissmj: Yes, I saw your comment and I thank you very much for it. It’s almost 6 years Michael is gone and most of his fans still feel the same about it as if it happened yesterday.
Of course, life goes on and we all have to deal with new things happening in our lives, but nothing will ever change our feelings about his extraordinary life and the way he was treated until his untimely death – and even after his death. And that’s the reason this blog still exists – because there is still work to do.

I wrote in this post about my journey with MJ – how it started and that I don’t know where it will lead me to. A lot of things happened meanwhile, and what I can definitely say is that this journey lead me beyond Michael’s own story. It taught me that there is more we have to care for than Michael’s history and what happened to him. If I look at the world at the moment it feels to me as if the study of Michael’s life and death was meant to bring me (us) to a next step, to a next level where we can realize certain mechanisms in other areas around us.
Like for example the manipulation of news that we can see right now in form of an information war within the newly emerged “cold war” between East and West. It shows how very up-to-date Lizard76’s comment still is when she wrote: “I was thinking about all the destructive lies that have led to war, murder, torture, political assassinations, and economic devastation in the last decade.” This is exactly NOW more true than ever, and using the example of Michael we can learn about it and what can happen not only to one person, but to whole nations. And I am again thankful to Lizard76 when she wrote: “…my hope is that it will force individuals to keep looking at what happened and how we let it happen. Maybe that lesson can translate into some of the other areas I mentioned. I know people’s hearts can change, because many have already. it is March 19, 2015, I’m scrolling thru my emails and come across this email sent to me by a MJfam and friend. I had overlooked this email dated August 29, 2012 – Vindicating Michael Susannerb. Susan I don’t know if you will ever see this post. But I will say I was so touched by your words. You touched on so many things regarding Michael’s illustrious life and unjust death – that have parallelled my own thoughts. When Michael left, something so deep in me dissolved and I would never be the same. I am not the same. The first year was so very difficult… my heart was truly broken. Not like a broken heart over a boyfriend, or a job lost, or losing a favorite item…it was so much deeper than that, I didn’t think i would could heal. I am better, but I know there is a tiny piece of my heart that will never close. That part is with Michael Jackson now. He has that tiny piece of my everlasting love. Since MJ’s “going home” I will say there are days and months and years that I can go thru life just fine. Then out of no where, a pain and hurt will seep into my consciousness, it’s like the air has been knocked out of me. And I know it’s because of one of the greatest losses to me that I will have ever experienced. It’s funny how years later I still cry. There’s been a couple of days this month that I have cried my eyes out from the pain that such a dear man experienced on this Earth. Lately I’ve been listening to Keep The Faith, I have a radio in my brain that plays Michael’s music –I don’t need no radio or CD player because it’s in my head (lol) and the music comes and goes just like my tears. I have also met so many amazing people, and I can’t even tell you the over the top unbelievable experiences I’ve had on my journey that i hope will never end. Michael is just another part of me, you and all the fans around the world that will keep this angel’s legacy alive -FOR ALL TIME, MICHAEL JACKSON IS FOREVRE…. love and peace to you all…

The film “This Is It”. At the beginning one of the guys says: “Life is hard, right?. I’ve kind of been searching for something to shake me up a little bit and give me a kind of a meaning, to belive in something. This is it”.
    Yes, This is it.
Michael reached the goal. The words of this song sung by Michael a few weeks before his death.
    ……………
“…You’re stuck in the middle And the pain is thunder It’s too high to get over Too low to get under You’re stuck in the middle And the pain is thunder…
    …You’re a vegetable, you’re a vegetable Still they hate you, you’re a vegetable
    You’re just a buffet, you’re a vegetable They eat off of you, you’re a vegetable…

Lift your head up high And scream out to the world I know I am someone And let the truth unfurl No one can hurt you now Because you know what’s true” -“Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’ ”
    ……………………..
This is true. He reached to the hearts of the people although he was so terribly discredited. Michael has served the people. He was full of faith, humility and love. Michael gave many people a great lesson. Michael is the moral winner.

“This is Marek Grechuta and his performance. He represented the mainstream of sung poetry. He sang poetry.
Michael Jackson was a poet, destroyed by the media. Media did not see the beautiful butterfly and his beautiful soul.”

Thank you, Maria. Marek Grechuta is very different from Michael, but both were poets, and Michael surely had a very poetic and loving soul and believed in the fundamental good of all people. And he found time for everyone.

I’ve just read a letter Michael wrote to his cameraman:

    Pecky,

I very seldom write letters. But in this moving occasion I couldn’t help myself.I want to thank you for putting the effort forward to capture the magic and excitement of the people of the world. What you do is a very personal and powerful medium to me. It is the art of stopping time, to preserve a moment that the naked eye cannot hold, to capture truth spontaneous truth the depths of excitement in human spirit. All else will be forgotten but not the films. Generations from now will experience the excitement you’ve captured, it truly is a time capsule. I will not be totally satisfied until I know you’re at the right angle at the right time, to capture a crescendo of emotion that happens so quickly, so spontaneously. What you have done was good, but I want the best, the whole picture, cause and effect. I want crowd reaction wide lense shots, depths of emotion, timing. I know we can do it. It is my dream and goal to capture truth. We should dedicate ourselves to this. The person who makes a success of living, is the one who sees his goal steadily and aims for it unswervingly. That is dedication. There is no other way to perfection than dedication perseverance. Just tell us what you need to make it happen. Take the leadership to direct the other camera men. I enjoy working with you that is why I asked you to come, you have a gentle spirit that’s very likable.

Maybe I look at the world through rose colored glasses but I love people all over the world. That is why stories of racism realy disturb me. You hurt my heart and soul when you told me of your boyhood in Texas. Because in truth I believe ALL men are created equal, I was taught that and will always believe it. I just can’t conceive of how a person could hate another because of skin color. I love every race on the planet earth. Prejudice is the child of ignorance. Naked we come into the world and naked we shall go out. And a very good thing too, for it reminds me that I am naked under my shirt, whatever it’s color. I’m sorry to bring up such past issues, but in the car I was hurt by what you said. I’m so happy though that you managed to overcome your childhood past. Thank God that you’ve graduated from such beliefs of ignorance. I’m glad I’ve never experienced such things. Teach your kids to love all people equally. I know you will.

I speak from my heart saying I love you and all people especially the children, I’m glad God chose me and you.

    Love M.J.

This is Mark Grechuta and his performance. He represented the mainstream of sung poetry. He sang poetry. It was music from the heart of the artist.
It poems our poets and music very specific to the city of Krakow. He was loved and respected by the people. These beautiful butterflies (artists) can not be destroyed.

Michael Jackson was destroyed by the media. Media did not see the beautiful butterfly and his beautiful soul.

Yes, a Polish song. Marek Grechuta – Polish singer, poet and composer. He came from Krakow, died in 2006. Krakow, it’s beautiful, atmospheric, magical city of poets and artists. Grechuta was personified of this magic. Michael’s favorite word – magic. Michael was a true artist. MJ was very sensitive. He was a poet. Michael saw more and feel more.
I do not know English well and I am using the translation. I do not want to hurt this song an electronic translator. In brief:
    Ever since you’re with me
I wear in the joyful discovery
    I came to a different
a new season of my life
calmly, the most beautiful in the world
I swim a river of my dreams with you
    by autumns, summer and spring
    and ……..
This melancholy song and words fully describe my feelings for Michael. I am happy when I read that others see the uniqueness of this man. Not only a great artist, a visionary, a genius, but first of all his humanity and his role and mission in the world. He was a gift to the world.
I repeat the word. Michael was a poet, he saw more and feel more.

This is a beautiful post. For me, Michael is an authority. He was smart, brave, full of love and humility. His sense of humor, his personal charm. It is easy to see. Media created a completely false picture. Therefore, the collision of media and reality is a shock. Michael was so wonderful that this confrontation with the media changes our view of the world.

“I just want to add that you’re technique to belittle, declare and treat both Michael Jackson and your opponents as insane people, is just the perfect way to undermine your blog”.- Mia

How can I treat you otherwise if even in the above statement you claim that I treat Michael Jackson as insane? What gave you reasons to say things like that?

And if you are an opponent, say clearly what you oppose so that I may look into it. All I see from you at the moment is constant name-calling and covering me and others with dirt (“You, who call yourself ‘advocates’ are the most coward, shallowminded, biased, uncritical individuals that I have ever encountered, You spread lies and hatred, You act as a censor on me,” etc. etc.) If I indeed were censoring people here I would have banned you long ago, but I am still being patient waiting for you to sober up.

Actually it is YOU who are heavily censoring me by questioning my right to write about “religion, politics, gender, race, sexuality, equality, theories on crimes comitted towards children etc. connects to his name and trademark”. Most of these things I do not write about at all (though you claim I do) and even when I speak about religion or the crimes committed by real pedophiles – proving that they used innocent Michael for creating a smokescreen of fight against pedophilia while promoting their own ped-lia agenda – you actually do not allow me to write about it! You connect it with Michael’s trademark and threaten me with bringing this blog to the attention of the Estate, so that “they take action against me”.

But isn’t what you are doing to me real censorship? Is this what freedom of speech is supposed to be like? Then how is it better from Soviet Russia? And is there anything at all that you allow me to write about? In my blog?

“Insanity was the most used label strategy for the old Soviet state to handle critique from political opponents, among them notable scientists, artists, writers. Apparently, you are raised in that sort of system. Your blog works like the Gulag, a universe of disgrace by its own”

Insanity was used by the Soviet regime against the most prominent dissidents. In respect of the rest there were milder methods of intimidation – questioning a person’s loyalty, blocking his career, not giving enough chance, etc. I was indeed raised in that system and that is why I dislike it so much. These very features of the Soviet regime made me what I am now. I hate lies, hypocrisy and selling one’s conscience for any form of gain (be it money or career) to a point you cannot even imagine.

Okay, if you insist that you are sane then you will have to bear responsibility for what you are doing here.

If you do not provide examples of me “spreading lies and hatred” and “hideous religious and political assumptions” in this blog, and what’s is even more outrageous, that I “whitewash crimes comitted towards children” I will ban you forever after, no matter what you think about my “censorship”. This is a clear case of libel and slandering a person who has never done anything of the above.

Even my patience has a limit to it.

Feel free to bring us to the attention of the Estate so that we may feel the force that they are to reckon with. The best thing to do from now on is stop reading the blog and just report us to the Estate so they can watch us from now on.

    ‘Helena’,
I just want to add that you’re technique to belittle, declare and treat both Michael Jackson and your opponents as insane people, is just the perfect way to undermine your blog. A minimum level of decency would act as a sign of good ethics. It is nowhere to be find in your blog. Insanity was the most used label strategy for the old Soviet state to handle critique from political opponents, among them notable scientists, artists, writers. Apparently, you are raised in that sort of system. And you still fully embrace it. I hope that your ‘editors’ and the ‘fans’ that you are dependant on, realize that they are stained by your behaviour and your agenda. Your blog works like the Gulag, a universe of disgrace by its own. You are the main prisoner, so it seems. And the key to your prison cell is thrown away by somebody, perhaps a hostile environment, causing your obsession.
I also hope that the estate of Michael Jackson, representing his trademark as they do, will take actions against you. Consumer power is a real force to take into account, wait and see.

“Don’t you think that a sign of real respect for him should have been to have permission from him, in your writings on him?” (Mia)

I think this blog started after Michael died, so it was impossible to ‘ask permission.’ Many people are now writing about Michael Jackson and no one can stop them as far as I know, even if people tell lies. At present, there is no law to prevent slander of someone deceased. Even then, since Michael was a ‘public person’ in the eyes of the law, he had to prove ‘malice’ as well as ‘defamation’ to get a conviction.

Also, Mia, Helena never suggests that children ‘seduce’ adults, on the contrary.

VMJ, I wish we could get back to the main task of vindicating Michael. I personally think you have made your points about Kinsey and Reisman thoroughly and extremely well, so I humbly ask that the blog gets back to vindicating Michael in a more direct path if possible.

Mia, though it is very late here I still found a little time to reply to your highly interesting lectures to me (I placed my comment in both of your texts).

‘Susanne’ and ‘Helena’, I do not care whatever you call yourselves, and your ‘allies’,
this reply of yours is just what I have expected. But, you reveal yourself so quickly, without any safety net underneath. That is surprising. You and your alter egos cannot take responsibility for your own actions when writing highly disturbing ‘chronicles’ about a person – unknown to you in reality – that you are an ‘advocate’ for. Who enrolled you in this ‘advocacy’ for Michael Jackson, a person that now have been dead and gone for more than three years? (Or do you perhaps dispute that fact too?) Don’t you think that a sign of real respect for him should have been to have permission from him, in your writings on him? Or, is he not worthy of that? For whatever reason?

[VMJ: And who should enroll us? Are there agencies who pay money for it? Can we do it for free if we want to? Or is it obligatory to approach someone for enrollment?]

And, acting as an ‘editors’ or whatever you call yourselves, you should know the agenda in the forum that you operate in, what your ‘co-editors’ write on a particular subject, what you represent as an ‘editor’. For instance, were you informed of in beforehand, that no critique would be allowed? Otherwise, you should clearly state that your intentions and writings do not necessarily support your co-editors and their lack of ethics. You will not stand up for your intentions and take responsibility. And you think that the media had a ‘witch hunt’ on Michael Jackson, but cannot see the similarities with yourselves?

[ VMJ: Darling, there is only one administrator at the moment here. All the others are authors who contribute to the blog. I have no time to explain to you why the changes took place. But they did. For intentions, writings and criticism please look up the rules]

I can assure you that I can. I can see something else, too. I can see the very ‘witches’ that caused the ‘hunt’ in the first place. A clue – it was not Michael Jackson himself.

You, who call yourself ‘advocates’ are the most coward, shallowminded, biased, uncritical individuals that I have ever encountered. But, you do remind me of ultra right wing political ‘advocates’, you have the same rhetoric, the same communication strategies. Just like them, you dismiss and declare your opponents for being ‘incoherent, ‘muddled’, ‘looking for trouble’, etc. (or in other words, just looking ‘tired’ just as Mr Meserau).

[VMJ: What an interesting train of thought. Incoherent, muddled and looking for trouble are the same as ‘being tired’. Also interesting that I never used these words either towards you or anyone at all].

You cannot go into serious debate concerning your writings, because you cannot produce arguments that can be taken seriously, you do not even ‘remember’ your own writings. And, you ‘kindly’ ask me to not leave comments on this blog – let me remind you that this is one of the very fundamental ideas with the Internet – to be able to freely express and exchange ideas in communication. You don’t want me to have that kind of freedom, to express my feelings on your writings. You don’t want any critical comments, since you cannot argue against them, You try to act as a censor on me. Well, I think that this will also be your most disgraceful legacy, impossible to wash away.

[VMJ: Darling, no one is taking away your precious freedom from you. You may come here or you may not come here. However there may be cases when one person’s freedom turns out to be prison for all the others. For such cases we have rules. I will appreciate it if you have a look at ours.]

I suggest that you make a label – a warning sign just underneath (or above) the main picture of Michael Jackson framing this blog, that opponents and critical thinkers are not welcome. This would be, at least, an honest and truthful sign from you.

[VMJ: I’ll think about your proposal. Now it is too late here, but tomorrow I will try to understand what you are criticising at all. It takes some effort to get your point of view. It is so variable and ever-changing, you know]

I think the world should know and learn about your activities since you have hijacked a person and his name in order to spread lies, hatred and hideous, despiccable assumptions. You connect this to religion, politics, society, crimes comitted towards children. In this you are really the one(s) who are looking for trouble and this should not go unnoticed. If you spread assumptions – or ‘thruths’ (look above in one of the comments on your writings that ‘Helena’ does, where she states that you ‘Susanne’ and she both shall ‘bring’ and ‘spread the truth about MJ’), then you must also be able to take the consequenses for that, be accountable for the public what kind of references that you use (documents, informants, time and dates, etc) so we all can check up on you and make up our own mind about the ‘truthfulness’ in your writings.

[VMJ: Please do. All the documents are given references too and are accessible to all]

If you were serious in your attempts to reveal any ‘truths’ then you would surely welcome this very simple question: – ‘What kind of investigation confirms your writings/findings?’ (References please, no hearsay). This is the formal and accepted standard on any ‘research’ worldwide.

[VMJ: Put your spectacles, dear. All the links are provided in the texts of the posts]

You have already stated that you will not reply. Fine, fully accepted. We already know that you have also put up the ‘Sorry, We’re closed’ sign to truthfulness. Don’t bother.

If you are representing the ‘truth’ about Michael Jackson (as you pretend to do), then I think that his estate should endorse that, so we all can make up our mind and make demands accordingly on your writings – also as consumers – on how the ‘truths’ you and your ‘co-editors’ present about him are trusthworthy and how it is linked to a trademark. This should also be connected to the fact that you do not want any sort of criticism on your ideas and assumptions and try to uphold censorship on behalf of him. And it should be endorsed how your writings and ideas on religion, politics, gender, race, sexuality, equality, theories on crimes comitted towards children etc. connects to his name and trademark. Also as consumers we are entitled to demand ethical guidelines.

[ VMJ: And do authors have any rights in respect of their “consumers”? Can they, for example, ask them not consume their texts and go and take their medicine instead?]

We are many, many that truly appreciate Michael Jackson for his genius in his artistry, his music, his dance, his texts, his art, his visual performance. It is an appreciation grounded in reality and by evidence, preserved for instance, in popular music history for future generations to enjoy. This has nothing to do with the imaginary fairy tales with a dark bewitched plot and eager narrators with a self – advocating agenda that you represent.

[VMJ: Some people read too much of Harry Potter]

I still wonder who they are, the ‘hardened MJ haters’ ? And what link do they have to the
‘fan community’ ? No doubt, academic research on this will reveal the real truth in due time. Thankfully, on this matter you will have no censorship, no influence at all.

[VMJ: And some things do not even require any censorship. They are so beautiful all by themselves that one is compelled to leave them the way they are]

    @Mia:
I’m the author of this post and I don’t see any connection between your comments here and this post. May I kindly ask you to stop writing incoherent comments under this post? I don’t know what your motivation is for your comments, but it sounds like you are looking for trouble. You obviously want to provoke Helena and the other writers on this blog. There is no substance in what you write because none of it can be attributed to one of us. We are no rabid obsessed fans, I even don’t call myself a fan, but an advocate for MJ, because noone else was treated to maliciously in public like MJ. This is no obsession, but a legitimate fight for justice for a person who was ruined by the media, by his accusers and by haters. And what we know about MJ are not “hideous assumptions”, but thorough researches on the basis of legal documents, statements and writings of people involved in MJ’s affairs, statements of close friends of MJ and statements of MJ himself.
You really seem to be very confused as your comments are inconsistent and muddled. So please stop attacking Helena or anyone else writing on this blog. Your comments don’t make sense. I won’t reply to you again. If you don’t like our posts please just stay away. We don’t force you to read them. Otherwise we have to assume that you are here for a certain purpose.

First of all ‘Helena’ (and all your other synonyms),

[VMJ: I have no other synonyms, except my name and my internet name used in this blog – vindicatemj. Don’t you even try to imply that I troll under various names here]

in spreading imaginary prophecies, accusations and misinterpretations as you do,
you must be able to keep track of your own writings. Apparently, you are not able to do this by yourself, you claim I should do it for you. In this you show that you are not able to take responsibility for your own actions. You are not able to distinguish right from wrong, thruths from lies. Most dangerous of all is that you are not able to understand not to harm yourself, nor others. Your implyings of that children ‘seduces’ adults is the most seriously dangerous of all.

[VMJ: I do not imply that children seduce adults. These are the statements made by Kinsey’s followers who claim that children are sexual beings and even benefit from incest and sexual practices with grown up people. I asked you to watch a documentary about Kinsey, instead you are coming here with your pseudo-scientific lectures directed at me. Look at Kinsey instead. For some reason I have not heard from you a single word of criticisim towards this criminal]

No one should get away with that without questioning and challenge. I hope that many can see through you and identify your motifs, as they are very disturbing indeed. Clearly, your obsession with Michael Jackson have consumed your reason.

[VMJ: With people like you I feel like Alice in Wonderland. Black is called white and white is black. The truth is called lies, and lies are the truth. Since our terminology is exactly the opposite I kindly ask you to seek the company of like-minded people who will probably be able to understand you. I cannot]

Why I have reacted to your and your ‘editors’ writings is not beacuse I want to embarass you – this you do an excellent job of yourself – and it is not in my nature to harm someone that I think is not connected to their reason. No, it is because you make hideous assumptions [VMJ: which ones? Proof please!] about a person that you did not know (Michael Jackson) and in connection to that make also hideous religious and political assumptions [VMJ: Which ones? Proof please!], full of prejudice and hatred [VMJ: For whom? Proof please!] which is aimed to nourish your desire to create some sort of ‘theology’ with your pet ‘martyr’ Michael Jackson to play with. Why him ? Why not take Bruce Springsteen instead ?

[VMJ: When Bruce Springsteen is harassed like Michael Jackson and for no reason at all I will spread my activity towards him as well. I stand for truth and justice and not some individual personalities whom I suddenly “liked” or “disliked”]

(No, he is alive, he can defend himself and would never allow his ‘fans’ to behave in this way). I can tell a little about this: I live near a hotel where all rockstars stays when visiting my hometown, so I can watch both their and their ‘fans’ behaviour from my very own balcony. I do mention Mr Springsteen especially since he has the most enjoyable behaviour of all, cheering, waving, talking to everybody without any fuss and disregard, even the policemen attending have a big smile in their faces. He is clearly taking great responsibility for spreading happiness and dignity in connection to his visits.

In one of your replies to me, you are referring to Dr Kinsey in order to justify your theories. You make a long ‘list’ of statements for me to read. You behave as you’re some sort of confessor to me – as if I should do some amendment. This is not amusing, it is horrible.

[VMJ: It is horrible to read about Kinsey, and not my or Dr. Reisman’s conclusions about him. Why have I not heard a single word of criticism towards Kinsey from you?]

It is also a true sign of that you do live in a parallel system of perception, cognition and memory, which has nothing to do with the real world. In this state, you spread self fulfilling prophecies and religious beliefs concerning a person totally unknown to you in reality. You refuse to acknowledge him as an adult,

[ VMJ: Michael Jackson refused to acknowledge himself as an adult and said that he wanted to be Peter Pan.]

as a man, and as a person with his own integrity. You strip him of any possible capability. You even dismiss his former attorney, Mr Meserau – he is not reliable (‘he looks tired’)

[VMJ: Being reliable and being tired are too different things. Have you forgotten to take you medicine, dear?]

since he recommends a book that you are campaigning against with great effort.

[ VMJ: In fact I said in each of my posts that anyone can read it it they want to, and it is only for us that it is worthless and like the past century]

Let me remind you of just some of your other writings: For example you call Michael Jackson an ‘innocent little dove’.
Do you really think a mature man or woman wants to be called that?

[VMJ: I am a foreigner and am using the word dove as a symbol of peace and harmony this bird generally symbolises. If in your language it does not have this meaning, I am sorry for misunderstanding.]

And what makes you an expert on innocence?

[VMJ: I use the term “innocence” the way the first Christians used it – in the meaning of purity and cleanliness of thoughts, deeds and intentions. If you can suggest any other, more appropriate word reflecting the same ideas, please do.]

On abortion, you make a ‘statement’ (as usual), on Sep. 26 sep 2012, you think that the right decision should be about ‘pro-life after all’.

And in one of your replies to me, you mention about the ‘hardened MJ haters’. Who are they ‘Helena’?

[ VMJ: They are people like Diane Dimond and Victor Gutierrez. And I don’t understand why you keep using quotation marks for my name. You definitely forgot to take you medicine today].

Is it perhaps someone hiding deep inside you?

[VMJ: “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?”

I think that you have a very dark repressed side that resides within you, a ‘shadow’ that follows your persona. Michael Jackson is the focus of your attention. In this, he is truly also a victim. He undeniably invokes horror in you, hence your process to make him an ‘innocent little dove’, ‘pure’ and a ‘martyr’. Who is it that your main character hate more than anything – is it perhaps your homophobia, is it race, is it gender, is it sexuality ?

[VMJ: Intersting logic. Do you mean to say that if I call someone pure I am horrified by this person? So, vice versa, if I call Michael a “monster” (for example), it will mean that I am delighted by his purity? What a perfect example of double talk! I never knew it was possible! So bold, so innovative, so unashamed! You should consult your doctor, dear. The current medicine is not working]

Your writings are reflections from the abyss. No one with their senses intact wants to go there. You make diagnoses for me to read.

[ VMJ: You too. You cannot even imagine how well I understand your point about the diagnoses]

You actually put a label and a stigma on Michael Jackson – in reality this is about yourself and your hatred of him, since he makes you insecure – you must make him a possesion of yours, it’s safer that way. And you are obviously dependant on other peoples attitudes and appraisals – these nourish your obsession. I do not want to nourish anything in you. But you do the inexcusable mistake to whitewash crimes comitted towards children – they, just as Michael Jackson, come in your way.

[ VMJ: Dear, you have mistaken me for Kinsey. It was him who whitewashed crimes committed towards children].

Let me tell you this, and you never forget it – no child is responsible and guilty of sexual abuse and violence committed to them, under no circumstances.

[VMJ: I promise that I will never forget it – for the simple reason that I think so myself].

    They do not ‘seduce’ adults.

[VMJ: No, they do not as they are innocent. Do you understand the word “innocent” or shall I look for the synonym?]

If you continue to spread your hideous assumptions on this matter, then may your ‘God’ as you refer to, condemn you to eternal shame among your fellow humans.

[ VMJ: Now this is not funny. Some mad men and women run about the streets and scream about others being crazy, putting labels on these poor innocent people and writing something inappropriate on them. If this mad running about my blog continues I will have to close the door to these madmen]

Let me finish with some reflections from Nietsche: ” Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not became a monster”. This applies to you.

[VMJ: This is correct, when you have to deal with monsters it is indeed easy to get contaminated. One of the ways is try not to associate with them and banning them helps in some cases. However the best way to deal with them is pray to God. My God as you refer to Him]

“Regarding your comments/reply ‘Helena’ – I think now when I have read your thinkings of sexual life, abortion rights etc. in connection to Michael Jackson, that you are actually beyond help (in any conventional way).”

Where have I written here about sexual life, LOL? Not yet, dear. As regards abortion rights actually I am not the one to pass judgment in this respect as I myself am not without guilt.

“You seems to have a confused perception of men, sex and religion. Your writings works in quite the opposite direction than you might have expected, and in the most harmful way they could work as a barrier to see and acknowledge crimes comitted towards children. I sincerely hope that you take better responsibility for this in the future.”

My understanding of men and sex is clear and straight, if I may say so, and this is partially why I like Michael Jackson. I mean that I haven’t forgotten yet what it’s like to be a woman. Religion, on the contrary, is not that “straight” for me as I have indeed developed a very personal understanding of God. Figuratively speaking it is only Him who I report to and not anyone else (you included). But you can believe me that it is setting a much higher bar than the one required by ordinary social or religious rules. The society checks only on what you say and do, while the Father sees your thoughts as well. And this is indeed what I am trying to take full responsibility for – now and in the future, thank you.

“I think Michael Jackson himself would have been frightened and embarassed by most of these writings that you (for example) post in his name or direct to him”.

Which ones? Please name – I am ready to have a second look and repent if it is necessary.

“I perceived him as an ordinary grown up man gifted with exceptional musical and dancing talents – a griot. He was not a god or half-god. He was a father, a son, a brother. To be a man is good enough and he was of equal worth as anyone else, thats for sure. He was surrounded by other gifted artists in his times, which he admired and collaborated with, and he got the same appreciation and respect from them in return. You call people that disagree with you for ‘MJ haters’ – who are they? Maybe they are just as imaginary as your passionate romance with Michael Jackson.”

So much sly double talk… Okay, so now those who hated Michael Jackson and harassed him for a couple of decades are “imaginary” and never existed? And you agree that he was of equal worth as anyone else? Yes, he was! Only why wasn’t he treated as an equal? Why didn’t the media, prosecutors and the general public look at him as a equal human being and hounded him as an animal? And it isn’t my word only – Michael himself said that he was treated as a monster, an animal, see the lyrics of “Monster” for that.

You want to know why I regard him as a martyr? A martyr is not the choice a person himself makes – it is others who turn him into one. If Michael Jackson had been treated as an equal he would have lived a happy and enjoyable life he fully deserved. It is actually the society which turned him into a victim by relentless hounding him for no reason at all. Now it is too late to complain – the public has turned Michael Jackson into a martyr with their own hands, and it is seen to everyone around the world except the uninitiated like you. Saint or no saint, this I don’t know, but he was a martyr all right.

“You make a construction of Michael Jackson that is surreal at best, horrible at worst.”

    Examples please.

“Have you ever considered that he might have had another sexual preference? What if he really was homo/bi or transsexual?”

Who are you talking about at all? Michael Jackson was fearful of an innocent thing like celebrating Christmas, and this at the age of over 30. He cried of guilt for a “crime” like that, and you are talking of him possibly be a “homo/bi or transsexual”? It would have taken him another 30 years to venture anything like that even if he had been predisposed to it. It is time to grow up and be realistic. All his employees say that he was straight. He himself said that he was straight and even referred to the bible in this respect. His women said that he was straight and had interest in females. And after all that we should all of a sudden consider “other sexual preferences”? Why and for what reason?

So who is really putting artificial “constructions” on him here?

Regarding your comments/reply ‘Helena’ – I think now when I have read your thinkings of sexual life, abortion rights etc. in connection to Michael Jackson, that you are actually beyond help (in any conventional way). I could just wonder what may have triggered this.
You seems to have a confused perception of men, sex and religion. Your writings works in quite the opposite direction than you might have expected, and in the most harmful way they could work as a barrier to see and acknowledge crimes comitted towards children.

Have you ever considered that he might have had another sexual preference? What if he really was homo/bi or transsexual – would you have posted a regulation/ban on that too, that your followers must obey in order to be a true Michael Jackson fan? Would he still be embraced by you ? He would have been embraced by me, he is just the same man and great artist as before, no matter what kind of social construction others put on him.

“I think that you seriously need help…. The fanatic and aggressive activism practised by fans towards other people that do not necessarily perceive him in the same way – they focus on the music and are respectful to his private life – is shameful and not in respect for a great artist.”

I haven’t noticed myself to be fanatic or agressively active. In fact I am rather passive because by now I know all there is to know.

    1) Michael was innocent and was a very clean soul, incapable of harming even a fly.

    2) Hardened MJ’s haters don’t want to know the truth. To be more precise they know the truth themselves, but are fighting it tooth and nail as they have an agenda to follow.

    3) The agenda is using Michael as a smokescreen to cover up for very dirty processes going on in the society behind everyone’s backs. These processes were started by mad sexologist Alfred Kinsey and have brought the world to the brink of a huge catastrophe.

    4) Those very people who were promoting Kinsey’s pseudo sex-science were distracting attention from their activities by creating the impression of “fight against pedophilia” done at the expense of poor Michael Jackson. While millions were gazing at Jackson the huge academic pedophilia lobby was working its way into universities, top legislative bodies, medical institutions, into schools carricula and human minds.

    5) Thousands of so-called “scientists” are working hard at sexualizing children explaining to them, sometimes as early as at the age of seven, the purpose and use of condoms, sex, etc.

    6) When children are sexualized enough and tempted into sex by all this criminal activity the gate to accepting pedophilia will break open and there will be no stopping it as children themselves will probably ask for it (crossing my fingers for it to never happen).

    7) The idea is to arouse their instincts to a degree when they start raising their voices “for their sexual rights”. Those who initiated this process are only waiting for it to start, and if it does they will put these “rights” on their banners and march in thousands.

    8) Michael, with all his talk about children being innocent angels, was a huge obstacle to them. He insisted that children should have a right to a childhood and undisturbed innocence. His own talk about it and the public discussion as a result of all those allegations against him were the natural barriers to pedophilia, forming a sort of public immunity against it (of course Michael never wanted it to be done at his expense – it just happened this way).

Kinsey’s legacy is so terrible that those sensible people of you who are against the worst pedophilia scenario should stop harassing Jackson and rush to save children instead. You should also say your big thank you to Michael for him serving as a sort of a vaccine against the disease. If it hadn’t been for him and all this fight around him the disease would have developed much quicker.

Watch the Kinsey Syndrome documentary, compare MJ with the deeds of a real criminal “professor” and his followers, and you will see that the above diagnosis is correct. Rush to save the children before it is too late.

So it is YOU who need help, or actually ALL of us as the world is too interconnected now. What is happening in your part of the world will echo in ours too.

“I think that you seriously need help – you confuse Michael Jackson with some sort of fanatic religious devotion.” – Mia

If you are saying it to me (Helena), then you’ve chosen the wrong post – this one was written not by me, but by Susanne, a very good and sensible woman from Germany. Both she and I are absolutely no “fan types” in the meaning of screaming at concerts and writing love letters to our idol. Probably I would if I were 40 years younger, but since I am close to 60 I feel that I am long past the real “fan” age.

However I will admit that same as Susanne I’ve fallen under Michael’s charms – not so much as a musician and dancer (this I always adored) but mostly as a human being. This side of Michael I didn’t know, and when I really looked after his death there was no more stopping it. When you see so much light in someone you simply want to stay by it – it warms you up and keeps at its side.

“He was an ordinary person, but was never treated as such”.

It depends on what you think “ordinary”. MJ wasn’t ordinary at least in respect of music – he was a phenomenal composer. Almost each of the songs he himself rejected and never released is better than the current “hits” on the top of the charts. I constantly watch them for educational purposes and can name only a couple worthy of attention. The music industry is crazy to disregard Michael’s previously unreleased songs and show this trash instead.

I think that you seriously need help – you confuse Michael Jackson with some sort of fanatic religious devotion. He was an ordinary person, but was never treated as such. This must have been deeply problematic for him to handle, and all of us actually bear responsibility for the terrible consequences that followed. If he had been perceived as an ordinary human, then he might had been treated in an humanitarian way, by the music industry and by the legal system. I’m sure you have good intentions, but I do believe you might instead harm yourself and the legacy of Michael Jackson. The fanatic and aggressive activism practised by fans towards other people that do not necessarily perceive him in the same way – they focus on the music and are respectful to his private life – is shameful and not in respect for a great artist. Fans do not ‘know’ things better than anyone else. They support certain ‘facts’ that circulate in endless motion, without any credible research behind to support their claims. They actually support also the moneymaking industry that make use of rumours, slander and gossip. And the absolute bottom line is when ‘fans’ go into speculation about children that actually have been molested (not by Michael Jackson but in general terms) and spread suspicion concerning childrens witness on abuse and molestation. That is hardly not in respect for either the cause of children in general, or for the respect for Michael Jackson (whose main concern obviously was for making life better for children).

To find out the ‘real truth’ is a heavy and difficult struggle, as is all academic research. In order to be credible, you can not be in a lifelong imaginary romance with your study object, and who also is, very conveniently, not here any longer to make his own standpoint about all the ‘truthtelling’. Please take a moment and consider these reflections.

You said it all and so well Helena. I am also so happy to share my everlasting journey with and about Michael with others feeling the same about him. Susanne’s Article is really brilliant, but that is not a surprise to me. She always writes on a very high level. Thank you for that Susanne and thank you Michael for being my daily inspiration.

You chose some great pictures of Michael. Although I admire his face when it is made up, I really like it more when it is not–because that way his character shines through, with all its warmth, intelligence, love and caring.

“I feel I could bring some truth about Michael to the people around me. It was worth the effort. I also want to thank Helena for a lot of information on VMJ that I could use in this book.”

Susanne, you are very much welcome – I am happy if we here could help. In the long run all our findings are the fruit of a common effort – someone says something, it triggers off a thought, you start really looking and here we are digging up some grains of truth as a result.

You should go on writing to spread the truth about Michael. The main thing the truth does to people is transforming their way of thinking. It is difficult to explain the storm of thoughts, emotions and regrets we went through, but all of us have felt that it changes a person very much indeed. We have changed so much since the time Michael died that I can’t even remember what I was like before that.

Thank you for the great post. Please write here whatever other thoughts come to your mind. You are always welcome.

Thank you very much, guys, for your nice comments. I really appreciate it. I’m sorry I couldn’t respond earlier because I am not at home right now. I met with a small international group of wonderful MJ supporters in northern Germany to celebrate Michael’s birthday, and we are having a wonderful time together. Now I could manage to look at the blog on the laptop of a friend. I want to apologize if my post has some language errors, because my English is not really perfect.
The article consists of parts of a little book I wrote in German within a time of 8 months between July 2011 and February 2012. I very suddenly felt the need to share my findings about MJ with those of my friends and family who are no fans and who didn’t understand me. I feel now that I was quite successful with this attempt and I could bring some truth about Michael to the people around me. It was worth the effort.
I also want to thank Helena for a lot of information on VMJ that I could use in this book. In the end it is a huge cooperation of all of us to correct the wrong perceptions in the world about Michael Joe Jackson – and we will still not be done with it for a long time.

Thank you so much for this article. Your words and emotions are in many instances an exact mirror of my owm. Sometimes I feel so full of grief anger, and pain that I can hardly bear. my family sympathises but cannot understand why I feel this way. It is indeed a long journey, and we don’t know where it will end, but I continue to pray for the whole truth to be revealed and that we get justice for Michael. Love you forever MJ, RIP

    Wonderful and honest article, Susanne.

I have been called over sensitive, but what happened to Michael continues to make me cry. He is our brother and we will defend him eternally. If someone attacked my brother or sisters, I would fight for them and I feel exactly the same way about Michael.

I am so thankful for this amazing site from Helena and all the wonderful people who contribute their research and opinions. Thank you and much love to all. Thank you to God for giving us Michael on this day in 1958.

Beautiful and thoughtful article, Suzanne! This really hits all the right cords…exactly what happened with me.

Our family hadn’t been much for American music at all, but my brother and I always heard MJ everywhere, in stores, on the radio, commercials, etc. so we first came to appreciate him through his sound only (Billie Jean was the title track at our house!). There was and is just something so magnetic about that voice, doubtless something everyone feels. The first time I remember actually connecting that sound to who he was a few years later in 2005, but for some odd reason, I don’t think I was affected by the headlines or led to believe them (evidence of this was how shell-shocked I became when I first read this blog a month ago, and cursing and confused at myself for crying like a baby.) Oddly, at 10, I didn’t seem to care at all…I liked his voice, and his sound, but I also cracked a few bad jokes with the rest of the school kids (ours was an era of making fun of every celebrity on the planet) but that was about it.

When I think of it now, I’m sure I always knew that he was a special soul, instinctively knew that there was something about him that was so human, so simple and vibrant, that despite the joking around, I never heartily accepted any of those claims. I don’t think I can ever see him as a celebrity, and although it’s hard to put into words, I feel like I’ve known him my whole life. It’s a good feeling.

So, happy birthday, Michael, and thank you for shattering the illusion and sharing what you loved and believed with the rest of us.

*Last night, my friend messaged me a word that I found fitting enough to share it:
yugen /yoo-gehn/ n. (Japanese) : an awareness of the universe that triggers emotional responses too deep and mysterious for words.

Take it any way you’d like.

Susanne’s article is indeed brilliant. It brings all over the storm of those emotions which initially drew us to Michael’s side and are now keeping us together. Somehow it feels like if we are together we still have a bit of him among us, right?

You know what stood out for me in this article most? It is the feeling same as Susanne’s – I also feel like I don’t have to explain anything to anyone about why I write and talk about Michael. And even do not care what people think about my preoccupation with him, his views, his life, his tribulations.

Staying by his side and being together with people who also appreciate him is indeed like finding a new family. It is a feeling that this is where you belong and where you return no matter what happens between us. What a magnet Michael is if you like others for the simple fact that they also came to like this wonderful man?

And it isn’t only his music and dance marvellous as they are. It is mostly his character and the lessons he taught each of us – to be stoic, to be patient, to be generous, to be simple, to be honest, to be hard-working, to be forgiving, to be humble, to be brave, you name it.

I feel absolutely happy that I’ve found all of you through Michael and am part of his huge fan family. This feels like a real home to me. No one else could have created such a miracle and there is no way to explain how thankful I am to Michael for it.

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MICHAEL!

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY, THE FAMILY!

    Brilliant article, Susan.

My first recollections of Michael was when I was 4, when I heard the HIStory album. I would listen to Earth Song over and over again. Then as my love for Michael’s music began to grow, I was introduced to Bad. Smooth Criminal was my favourite. I don’t know what it was, but Man In The Mirror always struck a cord in me, a sad one. It was probably the first time I ever really started to take in Michael’s words, and not the just sound of the music. I listened to his message for the first time in that song, and even at a young age it made an impact on me. Earth Song and MITM very much shaped my character, because from then on, whenever I was asked what I wanted to do when I was older, I would respond with –
“I want to do something that helps people, the animals and the planet”

I got that from Michael and his music. That was his greatest contribution to me, and I intend to honor him by helping making the world a better place in any way I can.

Happy Birthday Michael, and thank you.
