What you Believe about Michael Jackson does Matter FOR ETERNITY

March 3, 2013

This short post was inspired by the terrible site I read yesterday and by the incredible things claimed about Michael Jackson by one extremely religious blogger who now calls him names like “the beast”,  for example. There is nothing more to say about this blogger except that there are different ways of turning crazy and each person goes his/her individual way, but as regards that terrible site I still need to make a very short note.

The name of the site is freerepublic.com and the people running it call themselves conservatives. I wanted to register there as my huge liberalism has a solid conservative foundation to it and leave a comment there on their ideas about Michael Jackson – however  they didn’t allow me access, and this gives me no other chance but speak here only.

The site I am talking of is a lair of Michael Jackson’s haters and is actually an incredible read. “SHED NO TEARS FOR THIS TWISTED SICKO” typed in capital letters is a typical headline.

The people there think themselves to be exceptionally clever, knowledgeable and respectable, but the real impression they produce is that of foolish pompousness, ignorance and utter hypocrisy. Much of this impression is due to their Lilliput vision of reality and their pretence which they are passing for their belief in God and are parading on every occasion possible. In short they think they are respectable people but in reality they look like ugly and pathetic clowns.

On occasions they criticize some hateful ‘communists’ who are supposed to be their total opposites. OMG, if they only knew that these ‘communists’ are exactly the same kind of people – with the same ignorance, stereotypes and total inability to think!  Both types supposedly know everything there is to know about life, while in reality no one can be more backward and narrow-minded than they are. In fact these ‘freerepublic’ people and our hardliners would make a perfect match. If only they could be placed on some island! They have so much in common that they could probably make perfect mates there.

After reading their site I realized that it is not only the pedophilia  lobby which is trying hard to bring Michael down, but hardliners like the above too. If the proportion of these people is high among the population the fight for Michael will be long, tiresome and bloody. And the most terrible thing in this fight for the truth about MJ is that these people simply don’t want to know it.

Their hypocrisy and double standards are unbelievable. On the one hand they say that Michael has “excessive coverage” (in case a neutral media story appears), but on the other hand they clap their hands and run with their story like mad if the lie is nasty enough for it.

Their  biggest grief, woe and trouble now is that Michael’s death was mourned by millions of people all over the world and that after a decade of full oblivion people are talking about Michael again. This is something they totally cannot get over and live with. “This orgy of phoney grief over Jacko shows how empty our values have become”, “Mob grief proves Britain is more wacko than Jacko”, etc. are again their typical headlines.

Out of this pile of hate and hypocrisy I’ve selected one article only. It is called “What you Believe does Matter . . . FOR ETERNITY (Michael Jackson’s Life)”.

The article is the usual hypocritic scream about how Jackson is not fitting with their understanding of religion, Jesus and faith in God. Their own behavior is the best evidence that they don’t know what they are talking about at all, as they have no idea what Jesus said and did, and God’s commandments are not good enough for them either, but this (as usual) does not stop them from screaming loudest about their “faith” and Michael supposedly being in “hell”.

Here are some excerpts:

In all of the intense media coverage after the death of pop superstar Michael Jackson, the one thing that has driven me crazy has been hearing over and over, often by high-profile Christians, that Michael is now at peace in Heaven. Really? I hear this same thing whenever a famous person dies, regardless of what they believed during their life, as well as from people when a family member or close friend dies, again, regardless of what they believed during their life.

…It is arguable that Michael Jackson was the most recognized person on the planet. Despite his vast fame and material possessions, Michael was bankrupt in the things that really matter in life, joy, peace, contentment, HOPE! Those things only come through having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and living according to God’s Word.

…After his child molestation trial concluded, on June 17, 2005 I wrote these words, “Even though he has been acquitted of the charges brought against him, the moment he dies he will stand before The Judge, God Himself. At that moment, if he dies without Christ he will be standing all alone. There will be no high-priced defense attorney, no family, no fans, only God who will judge him for his sins and cast him into everlasting darkness. At that moment, if he has accepted Christ as his Savior by faith, he won’t be standing alone. Next to him will be the ultimate defense attorney, JESUS CHRIST, who will tell The Judge that his sins have been paid for and Michael Jackson will be ushered into God’s presence for all eternity.”

…I know it makes people feel better when a famous person or someone they know dies, if they think that they are in Heaven. This is why I have literally given my life 24/7/365 these past 20 years for the Gospel, because the FACT is, those who die without Jesus will not be in Heaven but in the flames of hell for all eternity. What you believe matters, and based on what he believed, Michael Jackson is not in Heaven but in eternal torment and punishment for his sins.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-religion/2283167/posts

So this author believes that Michael was “bankrupt” in the things that really matter in life, joy, peace, contentment and hope? This he was bankrupt in? And this in spite of him being a great source of joy, love, hope, inspiration and endurance for millions and millions of people?

And this author imagines that Michael was standing all alone there when it was time for him to answer before the final Judge? And that there weren’t any defense attorneys by his side at that moment?

And what about the world?

Isn’t the overwhelming grief that spontaneously took over so many people the best proof that Michael wasn’t standing there all alone? And that the world itself became the highest-priced defense attorney Michael could ever get to speak for him to the heavens? Wasn’t it the whole world that testified in Michael’s defense and presented as its evidence the infinite good he did to all of us, as well as the true values in life he was teaching  us to appreciate?

These millions of people suddenly woke up to understanding that they had lost someone very precious to mankind and it was these grieving millions that became Michael’s best defense attorneys. Their voices were so loud and tears so genuine that they surely reached the heavens.

And this is all we need to know to make sure that Michael is in the greatest of all places now.

According to Paris, Michael was okay with her liking girls.I thought the Bible condemned homosexuality as sin? What I understand is that he might have just been joking around with her(she was 8 years old at the time- she said that she showed Michael a magazine with the photo of a famous female artist on the cover page and Michael teased her about “liking” her) – Aeric Lee

Of course Michael was joking and made a comment never meaning anything sexual. What human being in his right mind will think that an 8-year old girl will look at some beautiful woman on the magazine cover as a possible sexual partner of hers? It is actually a nightmare to even talk about this!

Little girls – especially those who have no mother by their side – always find idols for themselves and look at some adult women with admiration and sometimes envy, imagining themselves in their place and wanting to be like them when they grow up.

Only complete perverts could instill these sexual ideas into Paris’s head. The poor girl simply fell for the ‘progressive’ trend. If only she had known by whom the trend was started…

I asked for proof as in the word of an insider who knew Michael personally and testified that he indeed became a reborn Christian. Jehovah’s Witnesses are not Christians. Michael Jackson was not a Christian, even though he may have done righteous deeds(that is until the time when he became a reborn Christian, whenever that may have been). Even the most evil of men can do charitable deeds to cover up their inner rottenness(I believe Michael was not guilty of child abuse).

I remember following this page on Instagram called “Michael With Girls”, which was run by a young Michael fan- she always posted stories of his interactions with women and girls from his youth up to his adulthood. I know that God can change the heart of even the most terrible of sinners, but if Michael really believed and loved God the way he claimed to do, why didn’t he strive to maintain sexual purity(there were numerous posts she had made of Michael flirting with different women, stories of him checking out women while outside, skinny-dipping with another person’s girlfriend)? I thought one of the fruit of the Spirit was self-control?

Also, why didn’t Michael pass on his faith to his children? Paris is(according to a tweet she posted in response to people objecting to her portrayal of a lesbian character who is obsessed with Jesus and dresses like Him according to the paintings) against the Christian God. According to her, Michael was okay with her liking girls.I thought the Bible condemned homosexuality as sin? What I understand is that he might have just been joking around with her(she was 8 years old at the time- she said that she showed Michael a magazine with the photo of a famous female artist on the cover page and Michael teased her about “liking” her), but since Michael didn’t get to see her grow up, I cannot say anything.

“I am still seeking concrete proof for the salvation of Michael Jackson. Because, from my observations, he seems like a person who would readily obey God’s will.” – Aeric Lee

Aeric Lee, Michael’s readiness to obey God’s will in all circumstances was probably his main feature – there is no doubt about it.
But what “proof” for his salvation do you need? Can anyone provide any proof like that about anyone at all?

We all believing Christians know that the way to heaven is by hearing the Gospel(that man is sinful and he needs salvation- and this can be given only by Jesus who is God’s Son, and so if he believes in Jesus, he’ll not go die in hell, but live with God in heaven forever), accepting Christ Jesus as saviour and lord, and living a life obedient to the Bible.

Jehovah’s Witnesses outright deny the Holy Trinity. They claim that Jesus is not God, and that the Holy Ghost is not a person, but a force. They believe salvation is through good works, and not grace through faith. If Michael Jackson believed these things, regardless of the good things he had done, he’d still go to hell. This is because all humans are sinful and hence, God’s judgement on sinful humans is eternal hell. We brought this on ourselves. But God’s mercy made Jesus come to earth and die for our sins and rise again. Even if he exhibited Christian values, and if he did not have Jesus in his heart, then he’d still be in hell because he did not accept Jesus as his saviour.

If ever I think Michael jackson went to hell, the above would be the reason. I believe he was not a pedophile or a freak of nature. I think he was just a nice guy who wanted to share his talent and love for music with people.

Some would say that his statement that he saw God in children blasphemous, as children are nothing but juvenile humans- who are born with the sinful nature. But if Michael meant that he saw God in children who were nurtured with love and godliness, then I agree with him.

I am still seeking concrete proof for the salvation of Michael Jackson. Because, from my observations, he seems like a person who would readily obey God’s will.

I do not really agree with the interpretation that the Holy Spirit is “female”- the Holy Spirit is referred to with male pronouns in the Bible. The Bible is the final authority on things in Christendom.

“I have heard that he had accepted Christ from different sources.” Marsha
I also heard from the “invisible album Rodney Jerkins” that he and his father (I think his father is a minister) said told MJ about Jesus. “Rodney Jerkins talks about Michael Jackson on you tub”

Early January and February 2009, a preacher from Nigeria called TB Joshua predicted, something to happened to MJ and asked the friend of Jackson family in Nigeria, to bring MJ for prayer because he said “ I see something will begin to happen that stare and he is between life and death. ” and said” He is too young to live your midst”.

But the friend though he must be healthy that is why he was rehearsing for 50 show. However he said he contact Marlon Jackson and Marlyn told him MJ is busy, probably in between 50 shows, he might come.

So I have no doubt that God talk to MJ, because God even talk to the preacher in Nigeria and the whole congress prayed for him. Did God spoke to MJ, yes and which is good for Mj,I am glad God spoke to him, he would pray and confessed his sin. You know what I think, God loves MJ very much. all this people come to him and told him about Jesus, tells you how much God care about MJ, send a messengers to him is something special.

A friend of Jackson family from Nigeria said, if he focus a little bit and hurried Marlyn Jackson, he said MJ will be still live.

In General, as I understood it and as bible tells us what you need to go to heaven is “That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved” (Romans 10:9-10).

I believe MJ got that opportunity to do that and most of all, when someone got salvation or accepting Jesus, as bible tells us, peoples will began to see the fruits of spirit from that person. “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law” (Galatians 5:22-23),
personally, when I studied all about MJ’s life and story, what I observed about him is he has most of those fruits. MJ is a loving person, kind, who loves peace and speaks and fight for peace. Goodness, generosity and he was caring person. He has most of major qualities that bible thought us.

“Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.” (1 John 4:8) MJ had numerous love for people, that is why he cared, so he knows God.

“Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.”(Romans 13:10)

“Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.”(1 John 4:7)

“So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.”(1 Corinthias 13:13) MJ had the best of all which is love.

In general, MJ had and did most of the things God wants us to be. Nobody can be all, because we are a human, but we can be at least what God most want us to be. Which are a salvation (accepting Jesus as a personal saviour, and be fruitful (Galatians 5:22-23) )

But it has a challenge as MJ faced it. There are wicked people they do not want you to exist, because MJ’s principle which is LOVE does not suit their agenda or purpose that they have on this earth. There is a power in love and Love can change the world.

Moreover, we will know for sure when we go to haven. God is good and mercy and we cannot just say about anybody that he went to hell, because God is not thinking like human (like us).

Just a small note to everyone, Even though they are misguided about Michael there is a truth that they spoke when they said unless Michael had accepted Jesus that he would be doomed, which is true according to Christianity. But I assert that he had. as demonstrated by his love and his ability to forgive. etc. In fact even though in the AEG trial they tried to say that he was mentally unstable when he said God was talking to him, he was not. There was a Minister of the Gospel of Christ that addressed Michael specially around Fathers Day with the good news that Jesus loved more than his natural father ever could. So God indeed was talking to him. Now as to where any soul is no one knows unless that person died cursing God, or praising his Holy mane but other than that, one cannot know until one gets to heaven. I have heard that he had accepted Christ from different sources. Gods mercy and love, and grace are boundless. Even if you do not realize the truth about God until the very last second of your life God will be faithful and just. It is not that the fact that the whole world seemed to mourn for him that guarantees a heavenly rest. But his acceptance of Jesus. And it show how shallow the people are on that site .God can reach down to the lowest and up to the highest.

Clearly, religion is very bad for some people. Instead of liberating their souls and minds for the Good Work, they twist and pervert it to sanctimoniously exclude and condemn others to damnation. “I’m going to heaven,” they say proudly — with the implied if not spoken addendum, “… and you’re not!” I often think it might be worth it to be ‘left behind’ if only to see the surprised, silly looks on the faces of the self-righteous who assumed they would ascend with the select ones to God’s everlasting favor — but didn’t. I think God has a sense of humor. In any case, I leave all such judgments to His wisdom.

BTW: I believe Michael Jackson rests gently but firmly in the arms of God. Thus endeth the sermon

On reflection I have to add that these people at freerepublic.com are really afraid of the power that Michael has exerted over millions of hearts and minds all over the world, so they are trying to destroy it in any way they can with words, but as you said, the loud voices and geniune tears for such a precious soul, will drown them out. Good always triumphs over evil.

That does not prove Michael thought Jesus was god. Yes God did say them through Jesus, Jesus was saying God’s word and his teachings for mankind.

Helena, I can understand your frustration and your indignation, but believe me, human history teaches us that for these people and for these forms of fanaticism there is nothing to do but act as if they did not exist.

Unfortunately, it would explain how it was done so much harm to Michael and other people with hearts of love as he (Jesus in the first place, if we want to believe it), if they existed only polite, honest, kind, thoughtful, balanced and benevolent.
Why can not resolve fundamental problems for humanity such as war, pollution, overpopulation, terrorism, etc?

The world is so because there are people of all kinds, and unfortunately with someone, it is perfectly consider them real. In fact, they are like the mythological Minotuaro that, in addition to being ugly in appearance, his food was human flesh and was insatiable. To feed him, were offered the condemned but also innocent boys and innocent girls of the city defeats.
The only difference is that Minos, to hide it from the eyes of the people had locked him up in a building called Labirint. Where should go voluntarily into exile many of the people who speaks publicly and rails without sense and human reason.

Michael always said he wanted to say and do things the way Jesus did, so what is this person talking about? Didn’t he or she know that Michael was a Jehoval’s Witness, talked about love, and showed it every day of his life, and cared about all people and the planet. …by Nina Hamilton

Who among us, much less a celebrity, when talking about God, says Jesus instead? Jesus’ name is the most defamed, abused, and reviled name in history; the second being the name of Michael Jackson. Michael invoked the words of Jesus at: 1) his statement at Neverland Ranch 1993. 2) His deposition 1996. 2) His 60 Minutes interview 2003 (among others!)

Everytime I see those MJ filmed statements, I can’t help but think that Jesus had smiled widely and lovingly at Michael. Who in this world evokes that name of Jesus like Michael Jackson did? Who in this world will boldly say they want to do the words of Jesus? Well, hardly anyone. Michael was not ashamed of Jesus. Jesus was his role model. And Michael thought Jesus was God, if anyone has any doubts. MJ quoted the words of the Sermon on the Mount and said that “GOD” said them. Listen carefully to Michael’s taped words. MJ KNEW that he was quoting Jesus, quoting God.

Look at these Scriptures! (Amplified Bible)

Luke 9:26 Because whoever is ashamed of Me and of My teachings, of him will the Son of Man be ashamed when He comes in the [[l]threefold] glory (the splendor and majesty) of Himself and of the Father and of the holy angels. (and Michael was not ashamed of Jesus!)

Luke 9:48 And told them, Whoever receives and accepts and welcomes this child in My name and for My sake receives and accepts and welcomes Me; and whoever so receives Me so also receives Him Who sent Me. For he who is least and lowliest among you all—he is [the one who is truly] great. (Michael welcomed children in Jesus’s name, therefore Michael accepted and welcomed Jesus…therefore Michael welcomed Him who sent Jesus, who is God the Father)

If Michael Jackson is in hell, well, woe, woe, woe to us all…
