TABLOID TRUTH: The Michael Jackson Scandal on FRONTLINE and a plea to the FBI in the name of Michael Jackson’s children

July 1, 2013

at the memorialMaybe I misunderstand something but I don’t see why the FBI cannot make a simple statement regarding the current fierce allegations raised by tabloids against Jackson and his children.

Yes, all this dirt is primarily aimed at Michael’s children, because Jackson himself is in a much better place than this damned world of ours, and it is his children who have to sustain this inhuman onslaught against their young lives, well-being and sanity in the long run.

FBI SHOULD SPEAK UP

If these UK tabloid beasts are right and they do have some “secret FBI files” let FBI admit it and simultaneously explain to us why they did not disclose to us this damning information in due time – for example, during the 2005 trial.

If the UK media is lying like crazy here, let FBI also make a clear statement about it and call a spade a spade, i.e. call a liar a terrible liar it is.

But what they absolutely cannot do is stay aside and watch the avalanche of lies growing with new coming day and close their eyes to this terrible process.

The health, life and future of three young children are in danger and there should be someone in the country who should  stand on the guard of these innocents’ well-being and should put a stop to this torture.

Some child-protection agencies should interfere and demand that there an official response given to these horrendous innuendoes about their father.

The children do not live in a vacuum and are the first to meet this current wave of hate, spite and shocking stories, and you don’t have to be a fortune teller to know that their frail lives will be for sure broken by this horrible experience.

The initiators of this dirty campaign are inspired by the example of Jimmy Saville, whose death was followed by hundreds of real or fictitious victims making claims against him and now suing his estate, but even if we put aside the whole big difference between Saville’s guilt and Michael’s innocence, there are two other factors which should be  taken into account.

Saville did not leave small children behind him and if he had the child-protection agencies would have surely interfered even despite his guilt and the judge would have put some sort of a gag order on the media until the matter was clarified.

But Jackson does have children and some protective measures should be immediately taken to shield them from all this incredible nastiness in the press.

And besides young children Jackson also has an extensive FBI file which contains all the truth about Michael, has already been disclosed to the public and proved Michael’s complete innocence.

Or are the tabloids talking about something else? If there are some secret files yet unknown to us the FBI will owe us an explanation why they did not disclose it to the public at the time when it was needed most – during the 2005 trial when absolutely every shred of evidence should have been taken out and presented in court.

I simply cannot imagine the FBI covering up for anyone who is allegedly guilty. The FBI’s whole reason for existence is to provide security to the country’s citizens and help the police fight criminals who may be a danger to the nation – so why should they cover up for anyone then?

If the FBI makes a public statement on their files on Michael Jackson it won’t even cost them a single dime or another extra moment spent on investigation – they already know the truth and simply need to tell it. But what they absolutely cannot do is leave the public swarmed by the darkest suspicions, dirty innuendoes and incredible lies in a situation when it involves three young children whose whole life now depends on whether the FBI speaks out or not.

If there any honest journalists still left in the country please invite the FBI agents to your forums and make them give the final answer. If even grown-ups like us are sick to our stomach with all these horrendous stories, how much more horrible must it be for Michael’s children? And what anguish is it giving them?

Have mercy at least on them…

TABLOID TRASH ON THE TRASH TABLOID MARKET

Richard Ben CramerYesterday a reader sent us a link to a FRONTLINE documentary called “Tabloid Truth: The Michael Jackson Scandal” and made by an award-winning US journalist.

The author of the documentary is Richard Ben Cramer who died only recently, in January 2013.

Cramer won the 1979 Pulitzer Prize for his reports from the Middle East while with The Philadelphia Inquirer. He also wrote for Time, Newsweek, The New York Times Magazine, the Baltimore Sun, Esquire, and Rolling Stone.

His documentary about the tabloid media around Jackson aired on February 15, 1994. This was immediately after the January settlement with the Chandlers but still much earlier than the criminal investigation was over in September 1994 which was seven months after the documentary was made.

This is important, as while watching the documentary we are still in February 1994 and the author thinks that the settlement made the kid “stay out of court” and that the whole trouble is over, while in reality the settlement did not change anything and the trouble  went on and on for Michael for another long seven months.

And the kid decided to stay out of the criminal court because first, he never wanted to, second, his case would have fallen apart if he had ever ventured to go there and third, the settlement does not have anything to do with the criminal case anyway.

So with the exception of this common misconception, the rest of the film is a fairly accurate register of the events preceding the settlement. It is also an absolutely damning verdict for the media and the way it behaved towards Jackson in 1993, as well as for all those whose hands were shaking with greed in anticipation of big money they were hoping to make on Michael’s ruin and destruction.

Now that the media is slaughtering Michael and his children again it would be useful to see how it was done before. Sometimes a good look into the past may remedy some chronic diseases and deepest ulcers of today or even tomorrow.

In the short time I had I transcribed as much of the film as I could. Please forgive the mistakes if any and provide a more accurate variant if you can.  You will find the VIDEO here:  http://mjtruthnow.com/2010/01/frontline-report-exposes-media-scandal/

UPDATE: And here is a clearer HD copy posted on April 28, 2020:

Richard Ben Cramer is the narrator:

2:30 Today we want to show you the tabloid business from the inside. In this billion dollar business there is only one story guaranteed – A BIG NAME IN TROUBLE – that is the best news of all.

3:05 We are going to show you how a mega scandal happens, how blood in the water becomes the sort of feeding frenzy we’ve all seen. Michael Jackson is our window into our new news business and the magazine shows, talk shows, news chats and infotainment that feed off tabloid ‘truth’.

Let’s be honest. It’s a riveting show when a big entertainer is being taken down. This scandal cost Jackson his image and untold millions in case. But what does it cost us when all our news is entertainment? Even child abuse is a property with a price.

9:00 A tabloid  reporter: “We will fly stories. We will take a shred of fact and go with it like a great footballer with a ball. We will spin down the field with that and try and score a goal with it and maybe we will and maybe we won’t. But we’ll take a shred of evidence and try and turn it into a story.”.

10:20 These are the headquarters of the Current Affair. The big guns [of a Current Affair] are all imported: Brits, or Australians. They all brought the craft from Fleet Street. America turned it into TV. Six tabloids in a daily jungle war in London created the killer-journo style. Now, with a score of news shows every day, American TV needs those same skills – it’s eat-or be-eaten.

Tabloid baby book coverNote: “The Brits with bad accents” are best of all described by Burt Kearns, the author of a smashing “Tabloid baby” book, who worked for Current Affair and Hard Copy and now recalls with some nostalgia the good old days when the wild Aussies were only conquering America:

“It was never journalism,” Kearns says of what they were doing. “It was what the Australians would call a piss-take on journalism.”

A Current Affair was a smash hit – the hottest, boldest new show to hit the airwaves in decades. Kearns stayed with the show until the summer of 1990 and then he and the “bad-boy” Aussies moved on to Hard Copy – and to California.

Their subjects were the stuff of the supermarket trashy weeklies— National EnquirerStarGlobeWeekly World News—and to get it to air, they cheated, lied, and, if they didn’t actually make things up, they put a massive eggbeater through the facts. Wayne Darwen, for instance, proposed a story on JFK’s gay lover.  He had no proof, of course, but he did have someone willing to say he was.  See?

Their trade was learned on the streets of Sydney during the tabloid wars between the Daily Mirror and the Sun.  Kearns retells the famous story of Dunleavy, a young reporter for the Sun in the 50s, slashing the tyres of the Mirror’s car to beat his opponent—his father, a photographer—to a story.

The men in white shirts who ran Yankee TV before the wild bunch of Aussies unleashed their talents were bewildered and bemused as they saw the raw, gutsy, tell-it-like-it-s approach grip the audience.  Ratings rose, making millions of dollars and underpinning Fox’s underdog battle against the incumbent networks.

Murdoch’s soldiers grabbed US TV by the scruff of the neck and shook it up.  But it was unsustainable, because the audience for their sock-it-to-‘em style of reporting was at the bottom end of the demographics.

There were a number of attempts to take the shows up a notch or two, invariably accompanied by a decline in viewers.

The tabloid era maybe well behind us now, but that’s why Tabloid Baby is such a good read—it’s pure nostalgia; a portrait of the way we were, for those who may prefer to forget.

Some will probably be interested to know that the creator of tabloid TV in the US, Burt Kearns was actually the boss of Diane Dimond, her mentor and teacher in journalism. Now he has a grudge against her as he is trying to promote his tell-all Tabloid Baby book and she is trying to black it out and make everyone forget her past.

Diane Dimond police dept.Burt Kearns has a tender picture of Diane Dimond on his site devoted to his former colleague and says:

As visitors to this site know, Diane Dimond’s tabloid television career benefited greatly from the tutelage, expertise and writing skills of Tabloid Baby’s author. Yet, when Tabloid Baby was published, Diane, along with Tom Brokaw, helped lead a media blackout of the book. Despite the blacklisting, Tabloid Baby sold far more copies than did Dimond’s book. http://tabloidbaby.blogspot.ru/2006_01_01_archive.html

Diane used to be a tabloid television reporter. The author of ‘Tabloid Baby’ used to be her boss. He wrote scripts for her, fed her lines and helped “create” her as a tabloid TV star. http://tabloidbaby.blogspot.ru/2005/11/diane-dimonds-book-be-careful-who-you.html

Luke: “when you came back and tried to work in your field, you felt after-effects from the book?”

Burt: “Definitely. The people that I worked with were protecting their own asses in their new careers. .. I can mention Diane Dimond and Geraldo Rivera. I had cleaned up stuff about them for selfish reasons.  They were doing a show on MSNBC and I wanted to get on their show to promote the book.  I made sure everything I wrote was nice about Diane Dimond. But there was one little mention about Steve Dunleavy beating her—and the rest of the world– on a story.  She took that very personally and got me banned from MSNBC.   She left a cursing phone message on my publicist’s answering machine.  It was hysterical!  I got her going by telling her I was going to release it to the media. And Geraldo, who the book was dedicated to, wouldn’t have anything to do with it at all. Never deigned to say a word.  Because they all went legit.   http://www.lukeford.net

However let’s return to the Frontline documentary. Richard Ben Cramer continues about the events in 1993:

12:25 When the Jackson story broke it was a feast…but meat for a morning is gone by noon. A hundred outlets – and each has to have a new headline, a screamer. Twenty-four hours after the Jackson story broke, the L.A. police raids were stale news.

13:00 The National Enquirer, the most notorious paper in America is also the largest and one of the richest. It threw 20 reporters and editors at the Jackson story plus detectives and a web of paid sources.

13:18 Mike Walker, editor of the National Enquirer: “From sources inside the police (I mean we do have sources inside police department in L.A.) we got a street name. And so we sent out a team of reporters. But in the meantime Steve Coz remembered a story about a new family that Michael had adopted. So he got property records relating to the boy’s father and did a search and found a property on the same street where we were out knocking 500 doors. That gave it to us and within moments, literally, Jerry George, our L.A..Bureau Chief, was going knock-knock-knock, hello sir, I’m from The National Enquirer – can I talk to you?

15:15 Diane Dimond: “I got a call from someone who said meet me at a bar in Santa Monica at 8:30. So I went to the bar at 8 and was presented with the damndest documents I’ve ever, ever real. I saw the extremely graphic detailed narrative of this child. Right down to the sexual acts. It was either going to be superstar being falsely accused, or it was going to be superstar perhaps guilty of one of the most heinous crimes we know. So either way, I couldn’t lose.”

16:30 The city social worker’s interview with the child – as confidential a document as the American court system can produce. Legally, it was stolen property. But it would become common chit-chat – from Bangkok, where Jackson was performing, to the playground of the boy’s school. The principal finally had to plead with all the students to stop asking the eighth-grader about his sex with Michael Jackson. As it turned out, when Dimond broke the story, she was just hours ahead of the pack. Splash News, for example, had its own copy of the report, and was faxing it to all comers – $750 a pop.

17:30 Anthony Pellicano: “ It’s very interesting that we in the Jackson team were given copies of this by members of the press who had purchased them”.

Narrator: Pellicano bills himself as Detective to The Stars. His job for Michael Jackson was to shut this scandal down.

he won't sell any more record18:57 The CBS announcer: “CBS news has obtained a taped phone conversation, the voices of reportedly the father of the 13-year old boy who is accusing MJ of abusing him and the boy’s stepfather. This conversation was taped in July before the police began their investigation”.

is going to be humiliated beyond beliefThe TAPE recorded by Pellicano:

“This man is going to be humiliated beyond belief… he will not believe what’s going to happen to him… beyond his worst nightmares…. he will not sell one more record”

he will be humilated 21:12 To this day no one knows what Rizzo has to do with this story. He’s a private detective from Chicago. This was before his license was revoked for illegal wire-tapping.

22:23 Rizzo said he was working for the father of the child. The father’s attorney disavowed him. At another point Rizzo was built as a reporter for Hard Copy. The show say “No”. Whatever he was doing he didn’t have much done.

Let me break the narration and say a word about Ernie Rizzo. This colorful personality was retained by Evan Chandler but was almost immediately fired. The reason why Evan fired him could be the true fact that Rizzo revealed about the father of Jordan – Michael’s stay in his home on one weekend was actually a fact-finding mission arranged by Evan.

From Ray Chandler’s book we know that when in Evan’s home Michael had a terrible migraine (from the AEG trial we know that he was suffering from the after-effects of a scalp operation made prior to the Dangerous tour). So Evan gave him an injection of Toradol that put him into a half-conscious state and interrogated him under sedation whether he was gay (MJ said he was not ) and most probably other issues. Then Evan put Michael into a trunk bed specially placed in his son’s room besides Jordan’s bed.

Rizzo thinks that it was done on purpose, in order to place a tape-recorder in the bedroom. The tape evidently did not contain anything incriminating as we’ve never heard anything about that recording.

So it was probably an open revelation like this which cost Rizzo his job with Evan. The dismissal however did not prevent him from making rounds of tabloids even 12 years later. In December 2004 he talked to Mankievitz on Dateline together with Norma Salinas, Evan Chandler’s maid and this is where he revealed that Evan specially invited MJ to his home for a fact-finding mission:

Norma Salinas worked for the boy’s father and step-mother, cleaning house and caring for their two younger children in their comfortable Brentwood home. She says she was surprised when the boy came to live with his father because the teenager was rarely more than a weekend visitor who spent his time alone. The father usually too preoccupied with work, until that weekend.

Ernie Rizzo says the father used that weekend as a sort of fact-finding mission.

Mankiewicz: “Was there any surreptitious recording done of Michael Jackson and the boy during the time that Jackson was at that house?”

Ernie Rizzo: “Well yeah. Let me say this, the father had related some conversations to me. There were things that I don’t think anybody could have heard through that bedroom door. My gut feeling would have been that there may have been a tape recorder in that bedroom.”

Salinas also suspects that the boy’s father rigged the room with a recording device, but she has no evidence of that either. But she says after that Memorial Day visit, everything changed.

Salinas: “After that weekend, the boy’s father stopped going to work.”

The father has refused to talk to Dateline. He did tell a family member that although he told both his son and to others that he’d secretly recorded his boy and Jackson together, he was in fact bluffing, hoping to get his son to confirm or deny his suspicions.

Ernie Rizzo was a private investigator Evan Chandler fired almost immediately after being retained. It did not prevent him from making rounds of various TV programs evern 12 years later

Ernie Rizzo was a private investigator for Evan Chandler who was fired almost immediately after being retained.  The five minutes of working for Evan did not prevent Rizzo from making rounds of various TV programs for 12 years

Rizzo was an old enemy of Anthony Pellicano, both worked in Chicago and used the same methods of sleuthing, but if you compare him with Pellicano he received a much milder treatment for the same crime as Pellicano’s – Rizzo was stripped of his license for wire-tapping for 10 years which is a complete joke in comparison with Pellicano’s 15 years in jail from doing the same:

September 01, 1993

As evidence of his credentials, Rizzo produced a letter signed by the boy’s father in which the father states: “I hereby retain you to investigate Anthony Pellicano and anyone else involved in the sexual molestation case that we spoke about this morning.”

Late in the day, Hirsch, the lawyer for the boy’s father, disavowed the private investigator and said Rizzo did not speak for the family. Doubts about Rizzo mounted further when he could not produce evidence that he worked for the boy’s mother, as he had claimed.

“I have notified Ernie Rizzo that he is not authorized to speak on behalf of the father or the family,” Hirsch said. “At this point, he is not retained by anyone connected to this case.”

But Rizzo’s story had made national news by then, and the lobby of his hotel was overrun with journalists. Beleaguered staff frantically fielded dozens of phone calls. Tuesday evening, the investigator, dressed in a pink polo shirt and shorts, sat in the lobby, surrounded by reporters, passing out news clips attacking Pellicano.

Despite the statement from Hirsch, Rizzo insisted that he is working the case and investigating on behalf of the father and son. Tuesday evening, he said he remained committed to the investigation.

In Chicago, colleagues of the investigator described him as a colorful private eye who lost his professional license after being forced into a hiatus by a conviction for illegal wiretapping.

“Ernie isn’t well liked, possibly because his colleagues are jealous, possibly because he does not always do things within the law,” said Richard Fries, a veteran investigator who has practiced in Chicago for 20 years and who sits on the state licensing board. “He had lost his license for almost 10 years, and he just got it back, let’s see, in January or December.”

The bad blood between Rizzo and Pellicano dates back years to when both worked as private investigators in Chicago. On Tuesdays, they gave no indications that a truce is in the offing.

“About three weeks ago, I get a phone call,” Pellicano said. “It’s Ernie Rizzo. He says, ‘Tony, there’s all kinds of people trying to dig up dirt on you. They want me to work for them.’ I say: ‘Let ’em do what they gotta do.’ ”

Splash newsThe Frontline story continues:

24:45 Howard Weitzman, attorney for Michael Jackson: “This will be a brief statement by myself and Anthony Pellicano. If you guys act like humans which is really difficult for you all…”

Kevin Smith of Splash news: “After the frenzy at the beginning the police and Jackson’s people successfully plugged all leaks – there was nothing more coming out.  Jackson’s people were starting to win in a propaganda war, holding conferences, coming out with the tapes. But the public was still curious – what was going on? So what we were looking for was a buy-up. That’s what you want. You want graphic inside details what it was like at the ranch, how he behaves with children..”

25:58  The second great wave in the Jackson scandal – former employees who tell their stories. A servant always sees, and sometimes tells. But there’s always a story behind these stories…once they’ve run through the tabloid mill. Just three days after the Jackson story broke, ABC’s Prime Time sent a freelance producer to Manila to talk to the Quindoys [former Jackson employees]. She was greeted warmly, and given a guest room in their home. But the network was offering only star-power – a chat with Diane Sawyer. That left the door open for the British weekly, News of the World. For this kind of story, money talks.

Quindoys

Quindoys

27:54 Diane Dimond: The Quindoys at first wanted $900,000. Where they got that figure I have no idea. It came down to half a million.

28:04 Stuart White, correspondent of The News of the world:

“When they negotiated with us I think they were asking in the reason of  a quarter of a millions dollars.”

A tabloid auction is a delicate sort of strip-tease: the sellers have to give away some details of their story to demonstrate its worth, and hold back other details until they get their money. For the tabloid reporter, it’s also a delicate business.

28:45 White: “It’s almost like, in Hollywood terms, you’re bidding for a hot property. It’s like bidding for a screenplay, for a novel. You have to go in there and convince the people that you’ll pay the top dollar, and also you’ll treat their property the best possible way, and treat them the best possible way. But I think it’s not a secret that first of all the Quindoys, unfortunately, were not acting totally in good faith.”

After he had heard most of the Quindoys’ story White’s London office suddenly ordered him home. News of the World splashed Quindoys big time – three pages without any payment! The lawyers said there was no need to pay – the Quindoys and the Company already had a history.

29:00 The Sun correspondent: “We had our first dealings with the Quindoys two and a half years, three years ago” [1991-92].

The News of the World is fortunately dead, while the Sun is still slaughtering people with lies. Sun People is the paper where the recent lies about Jackson were published. The documentary says that both belonged to Rupert Murdoch

The News of the World is fortunately dead, while the Sun is still slaughtering people with lies. The Sun People is the paper where recent lies about Jackson were published. The documentary says that both belonged to Rupert Murdoch

Narrator: The London Sun and News of the World are owned by one company – Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp.

The Sun correspondent: “We did the original buy-up with the Quindoys. Allan Hall, my predecessor interviewed them.

29:30 Allan Hall: “I was working then for The Sun. The Sun drew up a contract for $25,000, and I spent some time with them in Los Angeles doing the Life and Times of Michael Jackson, which was all, hey, isn’t he whacky! He’s got, you know, speakers in the hibiscus plants that play Beethoven’s Fifth in the morning, and he doesn’t get up before midday. He’s got dollar bills that he tears up and throws in the air like confetti. What a great, what a gasp – but nothing anti. It was very, very high, upbeat.

Didn’t have a bad word to say about the guy, not one bad thing. That he was just a kind man with children, basically. They had signed a contract to say they would tell the full and frank account of their lives and clearly from what later transpired and they didn’t, if what they’re telling now is the truth. They’re two people whom I wouldn’t trust at all. And I think they really have gone to town to do Michael Jackson down for the mighty dollar. Now, they see money again being offered around and they want some more. I think they’re greedy people.

QUINDOYS: I swear I saw MJ fondling the little kid, like his hands travelling from the kid’s face, his thighs, legs.

30:04 The Quindoys on TV during the Geraldo show on July 24,1992: ‘I prepared a menu named after Disney land, characters and the animals. For example, Pinocchio soup…”

30:19 Allan Hall: “The two people I wouldn’t trust at all. They will do Michael Jackson down for a mighty dollar”.

A note on Quindoys from the book by Lisa Campbell “The King of Pop’s darkest hour” (1994):

“Mark and Faye Quindoy, a Filipino husband and wife [ ] worked as a housekeeper and cook at Neverland from 1989 to 1991. He was a former lawyer. They left their employment at Neverland claiming they were owed $500,000 in overtime pay. If this is an indication of their pay scale, it certainly explains why he stopped practicing law to become a housekeeper! The Quindoys had filed a lawsuit against Michael Jackson for their overdue pay. Later, they claimed they quit because they couldn’t stand what they were observing at the ranch. They weren’t concerned enough to mention any of it to the authorities though.

The season premiere of Geraldo was the first of a several shows devoted to the story. This one even included a year old interview with the Quindoys which at the time only offered slight insights into the personal life of Michael Jackson, but now was being analyzed in a new light by Geraldo Rivera to see if anything said then could now be construed differently.

Quindoys on Geraldo show in 1992

Quindoys on Geraldo show in 1992. NOT A BAD WORD WAS SAID

A year earlier [July 24, 1992], the Quindoys described Michael Jackson as “the shyest person in the world”. Other things disclosed in the earlier interview included their observation that each member of Michael’s family had visited the ranch with one notable exception, LaToya. They also said Michael had young friends visit him and that they stayed in the “Shirley Temple” room, a separate, enclosed bedroom inside Michael’s bedroom. In an effort to get him to eat better, Mrs. Quindoy developed meals named after Michael’s zoo animals and Disney characters.

By this time [1993] Mark and Faye Quindoy had drastically changed their story. While one year earlier they described Michael to Geraldo’s audience as a very nice man, they had now suddenly obtained a diary which they held at a press conference which they claimed they had kept while working at the ranch in which they described various questionable acts by “MJ”.

A very important thing to point out here is that, like so many others in this media fiasco, the Quindoys first told, and sold, their story to A Current Affair and did not take anything to the police. And when the police went to them, they did not take their “information” to any authorities. In response to the Quindoy’s media blitz with their “diary”, two detectives, Federico Sicard and Deborah Linden, flew to Manila to question them. They were found to be worthless as witnesses.

The Quindoys were further discredited by their very own nephew. Glen Veneracion, a law student and nephew to the Quindoys, told interviewers his aunt and uncle were opportunists and they were an embarrassment, “I just feel bad that this is happening. I’m ashamed. I’m ashamed to be related to these people. I’m ashamed for the people in our country. It’s an embarrassment. It really is.”

A year later they were producing a certain diary which they never had before

A year later they suddenly produced a certain diary which they never had before [Screenshot from the documentary]

He described the Quindoys antics as a desperate attempt to make money, “What disturbs me the most out of all of this is that they waited so long. Why did it take them three years to come up with these allegations? That’s what really is disturbing. If this was true, they should have come out with it a long time ago instead of jumping on the bandwagon. They never said that Michael was a pedophile, they never said that Michael was gay, so I don’t know where this is coming from. I find it shocking. It’s very disturbing to me.”Veneracion went to Pellicano with his statement and established the lack of credibility of the Quindoys. He answered questions concerning the diary the Quindoys claimed to have kept, “I’m quite sure they wrote that diary to fit in with these allegations. He was gonna get it at any cost. And that’s what’s coming out now.” Veneracion was willing to testify in any court proceedings, “I’d be willing to step forward in a court of law and make these allegations.”

Frontline continues:

31:08 A free-lance reporter: “It all boils down to cash. They now have housekeepers going to work for celebrities who keep diaries and take pictures. And who make a living out of this”

Ads placed by the National Enquirer to tell on their employers

An ad by the National Enquirer: “Enquiring minds need to know!” “Maids keep diaires and take pictures. They make a living out of it”

31:29 The Nation Enquirer editor: ”We have maids and we have housekeepers, and we have chauffeurs, and we have personal managers and. if you look at trade papers in Hollywood, you’ll see ads – “do you know a lot about the stars? Is there something in your job or the people you know that makes you an expert on show business? If so, we’d like to talk to you.”

” We practice a form of checkbook journalism – but so does everybody else in this business, almost without exception. “

32:05 Another couple, Stella and Philippe LeMarque, would emerge as key witnesses in the Jackson investigation. Their stories of child abuse reached the cops by happenestance – as a spinoff to a tabloid story. This French couple worked for Jackson for two years, until 1991.

When the scandal broke, they turned to their friend, Paul Barresi,a former porn star who claimed he’d once made a hundred-grand selling a story to The Enquirer.

32:35 Barresi: “My interest in helping them was that they promised me a percentage of what they got. I was not on any kind of crusade to bring anyone to justice; and whether Michael was guilty or innocent at that point was inconsequential. My interest was strictly for the money. As was their interest too, I might add. ”

33:07 Kevin Smith was the one bidding for the LeMarques story. His role was to find the foreign money.

Kevin Smith of Splash news: “ Our job was to go to our various markets around the world and say, look, we have this couple. They are willing to say this. How much are you prepared to pay? Australia will say we’ve got $20,000. For them it’s quite a cheap story. They’ve got a cracking story for $20,000, but that’s not enough alone to tempt someone like the LeMarques to sell their story. So then you go to Germany and you get another 20,000. You go to Italy, another 20,000. And before you know it you’re up at $100 thousand or $200 thousand. And that is enough for a family to come forward and talk.”

A Current Affair: "They have a French accent. Twenty thousand?"

A Current Affair: “They have French accents. Twenty thousand?”

33:45 Wendy Henry, A Current Affair correspondent is talking on the telephone:

“When are they going to talk? How long are they going to hang on to this? I mean obviously more and more is going to come out and it’s just going to steal their thunder and devalue the worth of what they have to say. You know, I mean already the Quindoys have somewhat stolen their thunder. The quality of the tape is awful, and because the couple have French accents, it’s even more difficult. … I mean, half a million dollars! The amount is ridiculous… Twenty thousand?”

34:30 Splash News: “Originally it was $100,000 and they said, “Okay, let’s go with it”. I think they might have though – well, if it’s so easy, let’s try a bit more, and then they kept going like this until they got half a million dollars.

34:47 Barresi: “We met –  Stella and myself and this correspondent from Inside Edition. By then I heard the story probably half a dozen times and the only difference is that this time I had a tape recorder in my belt. I wanted to seize an opportunity to sell their story myself.

Monday morning I got up and I realized what I wanted to do with the tape – I wanted to take it to the District Attorney’s office and turn it over to them as evidence. I knew that the DA would be happy to receive the information with open arms and, two, I knew how to play the tabloids like a harp.

Looking

“That was the way to do it in a grand style”

35:30 Narrator: If Barresi brought the tape to the DA he had nothing to fear for his illegal tape recording. Besides it would juice up the story. If the DA is working on the story that’s action, that’s “inside information”.

Barresi: “That was the edge that worked well. If my story appeared in the slightest innoculous they would throw it out of the window. So that was one way to do it in a grand style.

So I called the editor at The Globe and I said, ‘I have a tape, I’m on the way down town to hand it to the District Attorney.’ And his words were, ‘let us come with you.’ And then I knew I had him. The next thought in my mind was I’m going to ask for $30,000. You always ask for twice as much as what you hope to get. He put me on hold, and within less than a minute he came back and he said ‘well, we can’t give you thirty, we’ll give you ten.’ I said ‘make if fifteen,’ he said ‘you have a deal.’

Narrator: Could you see the headlines coming?

Barresi: Oh yeah, sure, and I could see that money coming too.

36:40 Narrator: Barresi did not stop with the Globe. When Splash News retell this story to Sunday Mirror Barresi showed up at their office with a gun. Splash quickly arranged for him a thousand dollar check.  “This is the $1,000 check I received from the Mirror group”.

Note: The Mirror group is the one which is spreading the ‘FBI news’ about Jackson now, in the year 2013.

Barresi's story printed

Barresi’s story was printed in the Globe

37:00 Narrator: Illegal tapes, stolen documents, unregistered handguns… Tabloid truth is a rough commerce. And the cops were well aware they were chasing the tabs too.

Kevin Smith of Splash News: “A lot of people who claimed to have witnessed Jackson doing this, they were not going to the police first. Their main interest was money. They’d come to journalists who could give them money. So in that circumstance journalists know more about what happened than the police do”.

White of News of the World: ‘Maybe the initiative passed to the tabloid newspapers. The police responded and forwarded up on those stories. It was an organic process…

38:00 Narrator: After White’s visit with the Quindoys, News of the World gave its tapes to the L.A. police, who only then put two cops on a plane to Manila. Maybe these servant stories were true – but which version? And what would a courtroom lawyer do with a story which, for two years or more, was withheld from the law while it was teased and touted, edited, rewritten and finally turned to cash? In the end, the D.A. concluded the Quindoys and LeMarques were both useless as witnesses.

For $100,000 the hand was outside the pants, for $500,000 the hand was INSIDE the pants. Oh, come on...

“For $100,000 the hand was outside the pants, for $500,000 the hand was INSIDE the pants.  So, come on… “

38:30 Barresi: “The first time I heard the story about Jackson his hand was outside the kid’s pants. They were asking a hundred grand. As soon as their price went up to five hundred grand the hand went INSIDE the pants. So, come on…”

A note: The poor kid who was so terribly slimed all over was Macaulay Culkin. I guess that these beastly Lemarques broke Culkin’s whole life and definitely put an end to his career.

For the 2005 trial Tom Sneddon chose LeMarques to testify but rejected the Quindoys. Evidently the Quindoys were even worse than the Lemarques, though I cannot imagine who can be worse than this Lemarque witness called sleazy even by the Smoking Gun:

"The picture of Dorian Gray"

“The picture of Dorian Gray”

“..prosecutors are expected to soon call as a government witness a Los Angeles man who has described himself as the “master authority” on Internet porn and who, until last year, ran a hardcore web site stocked with video and photos depicting “nudity and heterosexual, bi-sexual, homosexual, and transsexual situations,” The Smoking Gun has learned.

Along with his wife Stella Marcroft, Lemarque worked at Neverland for a brief period in the early 90s (the couple says their Jackson employment, which ended around late-1991, lasted two years, while other accounts put their tenure at 10 months). It was during that time, Lemarque has told investigators, that he witnessed Jackson act inappropriately with Culkin and other boys.

According to published reports, the couple actually first reached out to a supermarket tabloid in 1991 with their Jackson molestation tales, though no story was ever published. While this contact came before the 1993 tabloid feeding frenzy, Lemarque was peddling a Jackson story at the same time he was enmeshed in a personal bankruptcy proceeding. According to court records, Lemarque reported debts of $455,000, which he amassed through his operation of Bourbon Street, an Encino restaurant. His Chapter 7 action, filed in June 1987, would not be closed until November 1992, just months before Lemarque again put his story out to the bid.

Poor Macaulay...

POOR MACAULAY! He was forced to live with this BS all his life…

In addition to the above let me add that Paul Barresi is also a former porn star and a pornographic film director. A nice company for Lemarque and the rest of them…

The Frontline documentary continues:

39:00 The Sun: “When you are buying a story there’s always a shadow of doubt – are they telling you the truth or are they telling you what you want to hear?

39:10 Narrator: In the tabloids it doesn’t matter whether it’s true. If they got someone to say that it’s true everybody is happy, right?

39:35 Narrator: America has a funny habit of demanding the truth about its fairy tales. With Michael Jackson, the line between fiction and fact has always been obscure. He was ever a confection, an entertainment for the nation. Realms of Wacko Jacko. But was he ever the tabloid victim he claimed to be?

40:10 Narrator: Michael Jackson understood the carnival – When news and entertainment is all one business, there is no wall between fiction and fact as long as it’s good commerce. A little fiction is required for celebrity junk food – and America rewards each season’s snack with the nation’s highest accolade: a movie of the week deal or, at least, a rock video, a ghost-written memoir, your shining teeth on a glossy cover or Geraldo live from your driveway. The newcomers in this trade are TV magazines – 12 shows, at last count – all in business to make a profit. They’re in a fight just as desperate as the tabs. in this league, too, it’s win, or die.

Stella LeMarque caught a little unawares

Stella LeMarque was caught a little unawares

44:40 Narrator:  Tabloid stories need tabloid talent. The Executive Producer of an ABC Diane Sawyer Special learned her trade at The National Enquirer. On the Jackson scandal, same story – ABC’s Day One hired away a Hard Copy producer, and paid top dollar for him. Before moving on to ABC, producer Cabell Bruce was known for his ambush of the LeMarques. He assured them he wasn’t taping – that was untrue and illegal. Even Hard Copy wouldn’t air his interview. They didn’t have a deal with the LeMarques, see…and the deal is always the bottom line now – lawyers, brokers, middlemen of every sort, haggling for their pound of flesh – even from the networks. Good airtime – that’s as good as cash.

And no one understood news as commerce better than Jack Gordon, the man who married La Toya Jackson. Jack Gordon came to the new news business by a path with its own curious logic. He once did time for bribery, and pled to a charge of running a brothel.

47:57 Diane Dimond: “You try the family and every family member you talk to wants money. We had been very pristinely clean on this. We paid no money for this story at all. I’m not saying tabloids don’t pay money once in a while, but on the Michael Jackson story, we did not. And I wanted to keep it that way.”

48:10 Tonight on Hard Copy “Michael Jackson’s bodyguards said: ” They saw it all, They heard it all, They know it all!”

48:20 Narrator: After her interview with us Diane Dimond show went on a spree. For a hundred grand they bought an interview with the guards who claimed they had smuggled boys to Jackson.

On Hard Copy Blanca Francia said one thing and at the 1993 deposition she said another thing. Guess where the truth is

On Hard Copy in November 1993 Blanca Francia said one thing and at  later depositions she said another thing. At the 2005 trial she tried to retell the Hard Copy variant

The show also did a buy-up on the story that everybody had been chasing. The Jackson maid said she’d seen boys abused. There was a bargain – about $25,000 and Hard Copy was killing the Current Affair in the ratings. Now it was the cops who were furious – more prime witnesses showing up on tabloid payroll.

Note: The Jackson maid the documentary is talking about is Blanca Francia. At the 2005 trial she started with a whole bunch of lies but was reminded by Thomas Mesereau of her Hard Copy interview in November 1993 and her two depositions following it (in Dec. 1993 and Jan.1994) debunking her present story.

Her explanations of the lies told by Hard Copy included statements that its people were not honest and that she never saw a single case of a sexual contact between MJ and anyone at all:

27 Q. But you did say under oath that you had
28 never saw Mr. Jackson have sexual contact with
1 anyone, right?
2 A. No. No.

Then she was reminded of the fact that in that infamous episode allegedly involving Wade Robson she saw only one person behind the fogged door and had to confirm it:

3 Q. Do you remember in the deposition saying you
4 never saw anyone else in the shower but Mr. Jackson?
5 A. I don’t think I say that.
6 Q. Would it refresh your recollection if I show
7 you the transcript?
8 A. Okay.

16 Q. Does it refresh your memory about what you
17 said about the shower?
18 A. Yeah.
19 Q. You saw one person, Mr. Jackson, right?
20 A. Yes.
21 Q. Or it looked like him through the glass,
22 right?
23 A. Yes.

And then we find that she not only saw one person but also heard the laughter of one person only and said so in her depositions in 1993/94. It was only by the year 2005 that her memory so greatly improved that she suddenly recalled much more and all of it in line with the initial Hard Copy variant:

25 Q. Do you remember you were asked in your
26 deposition, “Did you hear anything else other than
27 Michael laughing?” And you said, “No”?
28 A. Yeah.
1 Q. Was that the truth?
2 A. Yes.

The Bodyguards on Hard Copy

The Bodyguards on Hard Copy

The Frontline documentary continues with the  story:

50:00 Steve Dunleavy of Current Affair [the one who cut tires in his father’s car]:

“While people often look to the press and the media to criticize, I think this town has a lot to answer for. This town, whether it be Hollywood or Los Angeles, because this is the monster that’s demanding to be fed by the Michael Jackson bizarreness, by the movie deals. You know, it all comes down to one thing in this town, it doesn’t matter if it’s money, mayhem, murder or Michael Jackson, it’s all to do with film. It’s all to do with the deal. ”

On Michael Jackson's story we don't pay money

“On Michael Jackson’s story we don’t pay money”

50: 41 Narrator: In December Pellicano was let go by the Jackson camp, reportedly for talking too much to the press.

Note:  Pellicano left on his own because he did not agree with the strategy acquired by new Michael Jackson’s lawyers. He wanted to fight to the end, but Johnny Cochran thought different, probably because he was friends with Larry Feldman:

“I swear on my children this decision was not Michael Jackson’s,” Pellicano said in an interview Tuesday. “It was my sole decision. If I wanted to, I could be working on this case today.”

“In no way, shape or form does (my resignation) indicate that Michael Jackson is guilty,” Pellicano said. “Michael Jackson is not guilty, and all the things I said in the past I reaffirm.”

Pellicano insisted that he pulled out of the case because it was taking too much of his time and because his investigation was essentially complete. “The investigation has all been done and is now in the hands of the lawyers,” he said.

Anthony Pellicano, an outspoken private investigator who worked for Jackson until resigning last month, said the settlement merely reaffirmed his belief that the boy and his family were after the singer’s money.

“I have maintained Michael Jackson’s innocence from the very start, and I still maintain that he is innocent,” Pellicano said. “Obviously, there has been an exchange of money to settle this case. It all boils down to money.”

Someone was selling the photo of Michael's genitalia the National Enquierer for $3mln.

Mike Walker, editor of the National Enquier. Someone was selling the police photos of Michael’s genitalia for $3mln.

The Frontline documentary:

50:50 Narrator: Pellicano’s old enemy Ernie Rizzo was also on his way. After Jackson’s case made him a celebrity he was hired to work on a Madonna case.

51: 15 Narrator: The Quindoys also came back for a curtain call. As they shopped around for a book deal they announced they had new mystery witnesses. They had held them back from the DA.

51:25 Narrator: Jackson was good for the Enquirer – 12 cover stories in just 6 months. But the Enquirer said “No” to the biggest buy-up – an entrepreneur who claimed he had the police photos of Michael Jackson’s penis. The price? Three million. Cash.

Shocking. And Tom Sneddon said they were kept in a safe place! Though the photos could be a fake too. This is probably the only reason why they rejected them.

51:56 Barresi: “In this market anyone can make himself a player. It’s not unusual to find a former employer, friend or even a family member coming forward with a story, but to have someone like me who was completely detached from it all – it’s unusual, it’s brilliant.”

Larry Feldman: "No one bought anyone's silence"

Larry Feldman: “No one bought anyone’s silence”

52:18  Narrator: Brilliant was the success of the dad, the screenwriting dentist, who lightened Jackson’s pockets by a reported 20 million. Of course, he and his lawyer dropped the stated goal – to prove the truth about Michael Jackson. And what about Jackson himself? Well, 20 million’s a lot to pay – sure. But that’s the business: When every story is up for auction, the guy with the deepest pockets bids last. Immense profit – everybody wins, except, perhaps, for one kid, who’ll bear the mark of this commerce, for life.

53: 45  Narrator: And what about us? We snapped up every story, every word. Hey, it’s great entertainment, except when we want, or need to know, truly. Jackson got his buy-up, the kid stays out of court. When every story is bought and sold, then tabloid truth is all we have and we’ll never know anything for sure.

After transcribing these excerpts I found that reader ‘aldebaranredstar’ had sent us the full pdf version of the documentary transcript (thank you very much), so for further details please go to :  http://www.docstoc.com/docs/document-preview.aspx?doc_id=79749212

THE MISSING KEY PLAYER

The Frontline documentary was made by an honest journalist and therefore will never be outdated. It tells us the painful truth that we will never know the truth if guided by tabloids.

Richard Ben Cramer probably a little overestimated the people’s need for truth – who these days wants to know it? What for? It is so much nicer to dose off in the soft cushions of  indifference, feeding on lies and seeing someone else being slaughtered for their every night’s entertainment…

But for those who prefer to stay awake the documentary provides excellent material for thought as well as first-hand information about the way the horrid campaign against Michael Jackson started in 1993 and who the main authors of the trash were.

However the list of these authors is surely missing one person. This is a man who provided Diane Dimond with a file full of “documents” on Jackson. From the documentary we learned that the same file was also sent to Splash news, so it seems that this person took care of a reserve variant too.

Who is this person?

I think that it is Victor Gutierrez.

For those who don’t know him let me only say that Gutierrez is a suspected pedophile who attended a NAMBLA conference in 1986 and who is a patholofical liar with a boundless fantasy.

In 1996 he wrote a book “Michael Jackson Was My Lover: The Secret Diary of Jordan Chandler”  allegedly based on the boy’s diary which never existed even according to his uncle Ray Chandler (he called Gutierrez a “sleazebag”). The book is forbidden in the USA due to its openly pornographic content – Gutierrez describes the alleged sex scenes with the boy as if he saw them with his own eyes, making you wonder where from he was drawing his inspiration.

This person with clear pedophilia inclinations most probably acted as an FBI informant on Jackson  (not to be confused with an ‘agent’).  An informant is actually someone who is engaged in criminal activities himself:

  • An informant furnishes useful material about illegal activities to law enforcement and other agencies. Law enforcement agents may plant informants or recruit people from within a criminal organization or community to become sources, depending on the situation and their needs. In exchange for providing information, this person receives immunity from prosecution for any activities he engages in while working for law enforcement, and may receive leniency for prior crimes as well.  http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-an-informant.htm

The big problem with Gutierrez as an informant was that he added a good deal of his own pathology to the reports – making them detailed, graphic and worthless simultaneously.

The fact that his fantasy is boundless was proven by Gutierrez himself who once recalled an episode from his childhood [ in Reportajes, 1996]. When Gutierrez was still at school a writer who lived near by asked him to read his book and summarize it, and was horrified to receive a product in return which had nothing to do with the original:

The ability to embellish is what Gutierrez bragged about himself, and as to his pedophilia inclinations you will realize them if you read Gutierrez’s narration about MJ. And this kind of a man was Diane Dimond’s best source…

We came across her admission to it when studying the lawsuit for libel filed by Michael Jackson against both Gutierrez and Dimond (see the post here please). Dimond managed to hide behind the Shield law protecting journalists, but Gutierrez lost the case to Michael Jackson and fled to his native Chile not to pay him $2,7 million in damages. This did not prevent Gutierrez from coming back to the USA and working for NBC as a ‘consultant’ during the 2005 trial and for ABC as an assistant to no other but Bashir.

World is a small place, isn’t it?

Evidently knowing of Gutierrez’s inclinations Dimond never openly talks about her cooperation with Gutierrez. The cooperation lasted for many years and started sometime in 1993. The exact time is a big secret but in a CNN August 26, 1993 program Diane Dimond was describing  their historic meeting as follows (the quote comes from Burt Kearns and his Tabloid baby book mentioned above):

Victor Gutierrez

Victor Gutierrez is a suspected pedophile who attended the NAMBLA conference  in 1986 and is a likely FBI informant on Jackson (not to be confused with an agent). Quite frequently, confidential informants will provide information in order to obtain lenient treatment for themselves, in return for money or for police to overlook their own criminal activities.

DIMOND: Well, I’ll tell you, Mary, I was in a unique situation because Hard Copy is the only- I think I’m the only reporter, I think I can safely say that, to have seen the official documents, the official allegations against Michael Jackson. I got lucky, I’ll be honest with you.

A source came to me, said, ‘I want you to see something.’ I met him at a location and looked at it, and it was a stack that thick of documents about the Michael Jackson case.

We ran with it on Tuesday because I had it in front of me. I studied these documents for a long, long time, I corroborated as much as I possibly could, and I, too – like Leslie, I’ve covered a lot of child abuse stories back in New Jersey, the Kelly Michaels case, several of them – and I read the narrative of this child and it was familiar, the same terminology was used. This boy said that when he finally, in June, told the superstar that ‘I don’t want to see you anymore’ – they were in Monaco at the time – Jackson threatened him and said, ‘Well, you know, if you tell, you’re going to go to juvenile hall.’ That’s sort of a typical abuser thing to do.

Again, I want to stress, I don’t know if the documents I saw, if the narrative of this boy is true. But again, like Leslie says, I think we have a responsibility to report what we- what we know, especially about role models, and especially when it involves children.

We told you on Tuesday night on Hard Copy that there were other cases involved, and last night I was able to go with- there are four other what they call corroborating- no, they call them companion cases. The L.A. Times went with it this morning.

But we’re not talking about one 13-year-old boy, gee, are his parents having a custody fight. We’re talking about five separate case files.

http://www.tabloidbaby.com/Book/Companion/cnn.htm

Gutierrez actually didn’t have only five files – he had much more, as he had been making rounds of families who were friends with Michael for several years before the Chandler case. He said that he had 36 names on the list and all of them had been ‘interviewed’ by him.  The specifics of his ‘interviewing’ these people was that he was actually telling them what he thought of Michael and not asking them what they knew about him. In his book he describes the technology of the interview. This is the opening of his conversation with Joy Robson:

“I asked her to at least let me explain what I had found out up until now, and then ask her if there was anything that she wanted to add.”

The files the tabloids are threatening us now with are most probably Gutierrez’s reports he was writing about Michael for several years prior to his big success with the Chandlers.

The people who are tirelessly working now to spread new lies about Jackson were actually the first to tell me in which direction to go in search of their source. In my recent two-day-long arguments with them they spoke of Jackson in exactly the same language as the one used by Gutierrez in his absolutely pornographic and pro-pedophilia book.

The person who monitors every comment on Radar Online now, naming herself “a lawyer who knows” and having the cheek to carry the avatar of Paris Jackson, extensively quotes Gutierrez and his crazy story about two bodyguards sent on a search of Vaseline to provide it to MJ and his “victims”. She hints to the public that there is “much more to come” which makes me think that she is part of the team which started it all.

Currently her favourite story is that MJ “raped all his victims in the ass” “same as Wade Robson” and this convinced me that the ultimate source for their revelations is Gutierrez again. Spreading things like that was his trademark feature. Even the Chandlers never claimed anything like that!

So it is the fantasies of this person which are most probably kept in some FBI files and are hidden from the public  eye only due to the shame this agency must be feeling for ever turning to the services of a guy like Gutierrez.

In fact Gutierrez’s papers do not contain a grain of truth and are completely worthless.

And law-enforcement bodies know that the reports are worthless.

And we know that they know about it.

How and why?

Because the first thing the LAPD did after the Chandler case broke in 1993 was summoning their informant Guetierrez and talking to him for several hours on two days.  The collected “evidence” was scrutinized but eventually discarded. Gutierrez left the scene crushed and disappointed lamenting that he is a “nobody” to these people and just a poor “Latino reporter” to whom no one pays attention.

But if these Gutierrez’s purely fictional reports hit the tabloids in their raw form now, these s0-called FBI operational materials – first collected but then proven worthless – will be the worst tide of lies about MJ which you have ever read or can even imagine. No person will be able to survive it, let alone Michael Jackson’s children.

And this is just another big reason why the public should demand that the FBI makes a clear statement that they have nothing incriminating on Jackson and that whatever is published by the tabloid beasts has nothing in common with the truth.

As to the fact that the FBI were following Michael Jackson for years even before the Chander’s case broke out and had their informant working on the case probably for decades  – this we already know, so let it not be an obstacle in their sharing the truth with us now. I actually came to these conclusions almost a year ago and even wrote about it a detailed post called VICTOR GUTIERREZ behind the scenes of Michael Jackson’s case:

https://vindicatemj.wordpress.com/2012/10/25/victor-gutierrez-behind-the-scene-of-michael-jacksons-case/

In closing here is my plea to the FBI.

BlanketDear FBI,

The health, sanity and well-being of three young children is much more important than all your FBI secretive stuff – so please just be humans and free the poor children from the nightmare they are currently living in.

All you need to do is tell the innocent truth about Michael Jackson and no one will reprimand you even for following him for so many years.  At least I as a Michael Jackson supporter promise you that.

Just save Michael Jackson’s children, please.

It would be great if someone put together a petition to the FBI. Here is an outline of the main points which I see in this matter:

  • Some U.K tabloids have launched a new smear campaign against Michael Jackson, apparently based on so-called files obtained from the FBI. The campaign is avidly supported by some US media too.
  • The newspapers claim that numerous children were abused and payments were made, and since the files allegedly come from the FBI it means that the FBI allegedly had this information.
  • In case the above is true the public wants to know why the FBI failed to take action and did not disclose the information in due time, for example, during the 2005 trial.
  • In case it is not true the public wants the FBI to clearly state that the above allegations are a terrible lie spread with the malicious intent to smear an innocent man.
  • If the FBI were the ones who allowed the alleged leak to take place they are responsible for it and therefore are obliged to clarify.
  • If there was no leak from the FBI and the papers in question have nothing to do with them it is also their moral obligation to clearly state the case.
  • The reason why it is their moral obligation is because the health, well-being and sanity of three innocent and helpless children whose parent is being smeared by the press is in great jeopardy, and not taking action in the circumstances would be equivalent to denying help to the children, the US citizens, at a moment when they need it most.
  • In short it would be equivalent to extreme cruelty and child abuse proper, i.e. to a crime. And this crime can be easily prevented by the FBI as they have all the necessary documentation collected on Michael Jackson and no special investigation is required.
  • All that is required of them is to TELL THE TRUTH.
  • In fact I think that all sections of the society should be interested in such a petition and sign it whether fans or non-fans of Michael Jackson alike.

For your convenience I am also posting here an excerpt from the post made on October 25, 2012 about Victor Gutierrez.

VICTOR GUTIERREZ BEHIND THE SCENES OF MICHAEL JACKSON’S CASE

The Book

Gutierrez says that his ‘investigation’ was based on Jordan Chandler’s diary and it is already at this stage that you can make your conclusion about the novel without turning a single page of it.

The boy simply never kept a diary and this tells you all you need to know about this masterpiece of Gutierrez’ invention. The absence of a diary was confirmed by Jordan’s uncle who was so annoyed by Gutierrez fantasies that he gave the author an unflattering but true name of a ‘sleazebag’.

Gutierrez never bothered to explain where the diary was, how it came into his possession and why it never ended up with the police. From the way he keeps complete silence about its whereabouts we could even think that he intentionally withholds this key evidence from the authorities and could even be Michael’s accomplice if it were not for the abominable lies he told about Michael there.

The only really good thing about the book is that it contains some documents from Evan Chandler’s home. These papers are indeed a very helpful tool for our little reconstruction of the 1993 events as they are the irrefutable evidence that Victor Gutierrez worked in full cooperation with Evan Chandler and it is only the point in time when Gutierrez and Evan Chandler met which is not yet known to us (but is top important to find out).

The key question is the moment in time when Gutierrez approached Evan Chandler and though we haven’t got the necessary proof that he contacted him well before the allegations, the fateful meeting of the two did take place and is the root of the whole problem of the 1993 case.

It was only after Gutierrez’s insinuations against Michael that Evan Chandler totally psychotic mind began harboring dirty suspicions and all those experiments with taping Jordan’s bedroom and staging slumber parties with Michael Jackson in Evan’s home ensued.

Yes, I am absolutely sure that Evan Chandler invited Michael Jackson to his home and made him sleep in Jordan’s bedroom as a sort of a provocation on his part – his maid Norma Salinas said she suggested a different room for the guest but the masters of the house insisted on a special bunk bed added to Jordan’s. This made Norma Salinas think that the father and stepmother were “prostituting” Jordan, though Evan’s master plan was different – the idea was evidently to stage a scene of molestation and possibly even record it for proving the fact of the crime and making the extortion easier.

Something evidently didn’t go according to plan though Michael Jackson was even drugged by Evan Chandler and was in a half-conscious state when they put him into that bed besides Jordan  … but that is a different story and will hopefully be dealt with at some other time.

Most of the documents in Gutierrez’s book are totally useless and serve the sole purpose of building the atmosphere of suspense and horror among the readership. There is simply no other way to interpret the unnecessary photos of the rack with June Chandler’s shoes, the boys’ two-storey bed or Jordan’s test for venereal diseases which was negative and shouldn’t have been made at all as there were never any allegations of any physical abuse of the child.

However some of the documents are interesting as they give us an insight into what was going on within the Chandlers’ family while they were officially solidrock sure of their accusations of Michael Jackson.  In one instance for example, we find out that Jordan was so depressed with what he had to say against Michael (or was so terrorized by someone in the family?) that he made a suicide drawing threatening to jump off the roof.

Victor Gutierrez says that the suicide note was discovered by Evan Chandler who wrote “Don’t let it happen” on top of it,  but a much more precise name for the drawing (suggested by reader Aldebaran) is that it is picture of homicide where the father screams at the boy and exerts so much pressure on him that he is ready to jump off the roof as a result.

From another paper made in the same handwriting we also learn that Evan Chandler had to spend a substantial amount of time over a drawing of MJ’s penis making guesses how it could look like and putting down various ideas like “bleach cream” or “my theory” as a comment on it.

In general these papers may be helpful for disclosing the innocent truth about Michael Jackson – only please do not allow yourself to be intimidated by haters who will scream of the documents being “incriminating”. I’ve inspected those papers inside out and found nothing incriminating about them – unless you consider the photo of some boy’s (presumably Jordan’s) clean underwear to be proof of anything at all.

A good portion of Gutierrez’s lies has already been analyzed in the earlier posts (see this category please) however Gutierrez’s book is so packed with lies that it is impossible to exhaust the subject even in a series of posts, so the rest of the lies will have to be dealt with some time later. Now we need to put together everything we know of Gutierrez’s activities preceding and surrounding the 1993 events. They were also numerous, hence the difficulty of the task.

The NAMBLA Connection

The earliest Gutierrez is mentioned in respect of Michael Jackson is 1984. This was when he came to the US from his native Chile.

In the German article published in April 2005 in taz.die.tagerszeitung http://www.taz.de/1/archiv/?id=archivseite&dig=2005/04/05/a0170 found by Luoise (“Markoftheancients”) and translated by Suzy (“Jacksonantrak”), Gutierrez said that he came to the Los Angeles Olympic Games in the summer of 1984 accredited as a photographer.

He didn’t return to his country as “the American dream was too tempting for him” and later found work of a police reporter in a Spanish newspaper in Los Angeles (the translation from German explains that it wasn’t the work for the police – it was the work of a criminal reporter).

The next landmark event in Gutierrez’s life was his attendance of a highly secretive NAMBLA (North American May-Boy Love Association) conference held in Los Angeles, California in 1986. According to Gutierrez it was there that he first heard the member boy-lovers speaking of Michael Jackson as being “one of them” and hoping to use his name for the goal of their “social acceptance”.

10th International Memberhsip Conference Nov.7-9, 1986, LA

A quote from Tagerszeitung 05.04.2005:

“He quickly finds a job at a Spanish newspaper in L.A., he becomes a criminal reporter for the paper.

…. In 1986 he reports from a congress of North American Man Boy Love Association.”

Tagerszeitung, 5.04.2005

But how is it possible to report from a NAMBLA congress? Is it a sports event or what? Can a journalist freely cover what’s going on there? Or is it a highly secretive mafia-like organization which even FBI secret agents have a difficulty to infiltrate? It goes without saying that the organization is a mafia with all the secrecy that goes with it!

Since their first meetings in the late 1970s the NAMBLA members have been exceptionally cautious in their activities, arranged their annual conferences in total secrecy, and opened their doors only to members and invited guests. Here is what their official “constitution” says:

“The NAMBLA constitution provides that General Membership Meetings, which are the governing body of the organization, are to be held once a year.

Attendance at General Membership Conferences is limited to members of NAMBLA and invited guests, and that requirement is carefully enforced.

… If the person was not a member, he would not be registered for a conference or notified of its location.” https://vindicatemj.files.wordpress.com/2011/03/memo_nambla.pdf

The secrecy is so profound that the only information known to its members on the eve of the conference is the city where they are going to assemble. The venue is not disclosed to the attendees until the last moment and the place selected is masqueraded as a trade union or some professional convention. The members register well in advance and can attend by personal invitations only. Please see this excerpt as an example:

FBI targets pedophilia advocates

Little-known group promotes ‘benevolent’ sex

10:08 p.m. February 17, 2005

On its Web site and newsletters, the North American Man/Boy Love Association advocates sex between men and boys and cites ancient Greece to justify the practice.

It goes by the acronym NAMBLA, and the FBI has been following it for years, linking it to pedophilia and recently infiltrating it with an agent successful enough to be asked to join the group’s steering committee.

Law enforcement officials and mental health professionals say that while NAMBLA’s membership numbers are small, the group has a dangerous ripple effect through the Internet by sanctioning the behavior of those who would abuse children.

About 10 years ago [1995], NAMBLA counted about 1,100 members, said Fairfax County, Va., detective Tom Polhemus, who went undercover and joined the organization’s governing board.

‘Like a trade conference’

The annual meetings, Polhemus said, were hush-hush affairs. Attendees were told to go to the host city, and the venue was not disclosed until the last minute.

“They don’t want press and they don’t want the cops showing up,” he said.

After the main sessions, Polhemus said, “You break up and you go into different rooms,  . . . like a trade conference.” The networking for illicit activities occurs later, in private conversations over drinks or dinner, he said.

That’s what happened in November at a conference in Miami, FBI agents said in court documents. An undercover agent dined with several NAMBLA members at a burger joint where they discussed trips abroad to abuse children. After the convention, he contacted them by telephone and e-mail and set up the sting by promising the boat trip to Mexico.

http://legacy.signonsandiego.com/news/metro/20050217-2208-manboy-daily.html

Each newcomer to the organization is to pass tests and has to wait for a chance to attend its congress (and consequently meet others). From the court documents describing the adventures of a FBI secret agent within the NAMBLA organization we find out that this secret agent had to implement specific requests from the management and wait for two and a half years to be able to attend the conference at last.

NAMBLA – agent Hamer had to wait 2 years to attend their congress

A quote from the respective court document:

On July 31, 2001, FBI Agent Robert Hamer joined NAMBLA by sending a letter and a money order to an address listed on the organization’s Web site. Hamer joined NAMBLA using an alias and maintained his alias throughout his association with the group. He subsequently received a letter welcoming him to the organization and congratulating him on taking the  “courageous step” of becoming a member.

In 2001 and 2002, at the request of the organization, he sent holiday cards to incarcerated sex offenders. In 2002, he wrote two articles for the Bulletin [..] though these articles were never published. He requested an invitation to NAMBLA’s 2002 conference but was denied because he had not been a member for a long enough period of time.

The next year, Agent Hamer was invited to the November 2003 conference in New York.”

https://vindicatemj.files.wordpress.com/2011/03/nambla-d181ourt-doc.pdf

In short the complexity of the attendance procedure makes it totally impossible for Gutierrez to be present at their event as a newspaper reporter, and this leaves us with a big question – in what capacity did Gutierrez attend the NAMBLA conference then ?

The conference itself did indeed take place in Los Angeles on November 7-9, 1986,  and Gutierrez does know about it, and it is only the reason why he was there is what he cannot give a convincing explanation of.

The official name of the conference was the 10th International Membership Conference which means that it was for members only and an international event too. This fits Gutierrez’s status perfectly well – he could be one of its foreign members (or at least an invited guest which also needs an explanation) and his membership in the organization could be the real reason why he attended that assembly.

The pretext of going there as a reporter was sheer nonsense from the start of it – none of the attendees would want their activities to be covered in the press, and surely none of them will ever risk to have their photo appear in the local LA newspaper!

It is baffling to realize that no one in the media ever asked questions about the reason why Gutierrez attended that conference. Of course the time when the Tagerszeitung publication was made was April 2005 and this was the moment when all attention was focused on Michael Jackson, and this is probably why it was so safe for Gutierrez to mention his visit to NAMBLA.

The game was played solely on Michael Jackson’s field, and all the facts leading to real criminals were ignored and went completely unnoticed. When Corey Feldman told the police that MJ had done no wrong to him but he had been molested by someone else in Hollywood and he even disclosed the name of his offender, the police behaved as if they were hypnotized – no one cared and everyone kept asking only about MJ instead.  No police action was taken following Corey’s words and no public discussion ensued, thus giving real criminals a chance to go on abusing children without anyone standing in their way.

Just think of it – while hundreds of law enforcement officers, media people and the public were busy harassing Michael for almost two decades, hundreds of children fell victim to real predators like Jerry Sandusky and Jimmy Savile. Now I hear that the number of Savile’s victims is over 200… And this was happening in front of everyone’s nose? Due to total disregard for the real victims’ complaints and signals from the witnesses of their abuse?  Because everyone was busy with the innocent man who was naïve enough to say that he had slumber parties with children?

Of course real criminals will never say things like that not to attract attention to themselves! So why didn’t people realize then and there that they were looking in the wrong direction?

The outcome of all this is very sad. While the public was entertained with stories about Michael’s fictional crimes the attention from real criminals was averted and as a result of that many young lives were corrupted. These crimes could have been prevented if the media had not been preoccupied with their profit only…

And have you ever thought that distracting the public from real abusers could be the primary reason why Michael’s harassment was arranged at all?

What a heavy price the general public is paying now for the many years of mocking a man who never deserved it! What a bitter wake-up it is after so many years of entertaining themselves at the expense of an innocent man! Can there be a worse punishment for the society which turned a blind eye on real criminals while stoning the wrong person and doing it for so long?

A Secret Task?

A year and a half after the 2005 interview to the Tagerszeitung newspaper Victor Gutierrez spoke to the British GQ magazine and mentioned his visit to NAMBLA again.

Now he presented a different version of the story which this time sounded even more incredible – he claimed that he attended a NAMBLA conference as an undercover agent for the Los Angeles Police Department! The GQ September 2006 article was discovered by Lynande 51 and discussed in this post.

Quote from the GQ magazine:

Gutierrez began his investigation in 1986 when he went undercover with the LAPD. While attending a secret conference held by a suspect organization in LA, Gutierrez heard many references to Michael Jackson. So far as the world knew at the time, “Wacko Jacko” was just an eccentric. The fact that he liked the company of young boys seemed no more suspicious back then than his hanging out with a chimp called Bubbles.

GQ magazine about Victor Gutierrez

So now our liar Gutierrez realized that the newsreporter version was no good and invented a new lie which said that only two years after his arrival in the US he became a secret agent of the Los Angeles police and had worked on infiltrating NAMBLA long enough to attend it as a secret agent….

This sounds to me even more ridiculous than the initial variant, however what’s good about this second story is that Gutierrez confirms again that he did attend a NAMBLA conference in 1986!

The idea of being a secret agent with the LAPD is refuted by Gutierrez himself as only several paragraphs down the same text he complains that when “the first phase of the work was finished” he sent his papers to the LAPD (for which he was presumably working) however they didn’t pay attention to his findings and made it clear that “he was a nobody” for them and was just some insignificant “Latino reporter”!

Dear me, so was Gutierrez a secret agent for LAPD or was he a ‘nobody’ for them? A secret agent working undercover painstakingly collects all that “incriminating” evidence about Jackson but when he brings it to his bosses no one pays attention to his work and even thinks that he is a “nobody”?

And this is said within the limits of one article where the beginning clearly contradicts the end of it!? And none of those interviewers ever wondered why Gutierrez was saying all those ridiculous things?

No, they didn’t – they simply did not notice. The GQ magazine said:

” The book that Gutierrez finished after the first phase of his research never came out. Publishers thought it too hot to handle and although Gutierrez sent a copy to the LAPD they took no action either. “Because I was a nobody, just a Latino reporter in LA”.

Let us forget about that “undercover story” for some time – we know already that Gutierrez’s stories about the reasons why he attended a NAMBLA conference do not have a leg to stand on.

But the article provides us with even more important information than that – it gives us the year when Gutierrez started his “investigation” of Michael Jackson. It was 1986 or the year when he attended that very boy lovers’ conference and it was after it that he started following Jackson!

This is actually what I thought of the situation all along.  The ideas discussed by boy-lovers at the conference and their desire to use Michael Jackson for their social acceptance weren’t just mere small talk between the NAMBLA members – no, it was an open manifesto of their plans. And plans needed to be implemented, otherwise what’s the use of talking about them at all? And this makes the chances that Victor Gutierrez was actually sent on a mission against Jackson after the conference very high indeed.

An aspiring young journalist ready to jump out of his skin to make a career for himself and do a favor to his boy-love fellows? Gutierrez was exactly that kind. The magnitude of the celebrity to be compromised only boosted his self-esteem. The communication skills of a journalist and his Spanish were the ideal tools to talk to all those Spanish-speaking maids and bring them over to his side by planting suspicion, sowing doubt and encouraging them to help him uncover a possible “criminal”.

Oh yes, the unscrupulous liar Gutierrez was an extremely suitable candidate for the dirty job of ruining MJ, and I am not at all surprised that it was Gutierrez who was either selected for this task or took it upon himself of his own free will.

The idea that the organization even supported him financially does not look to me a too big stretch of imagination – some time during that period he quit (or was fired from) the job of a criminal reporter,  turned into a freelance entertainment journalist and said that even sold satellite dishes at some point to be able to afford his five-year “investigation” of Michael Jackson. Five years! Where did he get the finances to support himself with if he did not have any regular work?

Spreading Lies

According to Gutierrez several years prior to the allegations scandal he started making rounds of the parents of the children who were friends with Michael Jackson. In his book Gutierrez gives an account of the process of “collecting information” about Michael which to me looks more like spreading lies about him.

The description provided below concerns Gutierrez’s alleged chance encounter with Wade Robson and his mother Joy on the Venice Beach in California. The boy was dancing in the street begging for money to buy some bread with it (!)

Well, it’s high time you stopped gasping at what he says – you are dealing with Gutierrez after all, so pull yourself together and try to extract the grains of truth (if any) out of the mammoth pile of lies he habitually tells.

All I can say about Gutierrez’s account of that meeting is that his manner of interviewing people is a full equivalent to spreading malicious lies about Michael Jackson and in the legal circumstances would be considered slander:

On a summer’s day in June 1992,I went with a friend to Venice Beach, California. While we were walking, my friend, who knew all about my investigation for the book about Jackson, pointed out a boy who was imitating Jackson. He was dancing to music from his radio. The song was “Black or White” from the album “Dangerous,” and the boy was dancing so well that he looked like a miniature version of Jackson. As we got a bit closer, I realized that it was Wade Robson, the nine year old boy from Australia who was one of Jackson’s “little friends.” I couldn’t believe it, I had been looking for this boy and his mother for more than five months without any luck and here, by chance, I found both of them. It was a great opportunity to interview them.”

“At first, it did not seem as they were poor. But after some time it became apparent to me that they were homeless. They once had a rich life with one of the most famous people in the world. Now they were in the street without money, without friends, and hoping that Wade’s dancing would put bread on the table”.

“As I approached Joy, Wade ran up to her and said that he had only got three dollars from his latest performance. He took two one dollar bills and some coins out of his hat. I introduced myself to the mother saying that I was a journalist and that I was writing a book about Jackson which concerned his relationship with minors, including his being a pedophile.

When I explained that I was not from a tabloid or newspaper, Joy asked me what I wanted to speak about. I told her that the basic idea of the book was to speak about Jackson’s friendships with minors, and to listen to all sides and versions regarding this issue. When I finished speaking, Joy exclaimed “It’s not true!” I told her that the truth was going to come out one day.

I asked her to at least let me explain what I had found out up until now, and then ask her if there was anything that she wanted to add. If not, I would understand. She silently listened as I told her about the cases involving other young boys and about the several statements made in Hollywood about Jackson’s sexual preferences for boys. I gave details about how he went about persuading minors. She paid more attention when I told her about Jackson’s employees, who had seen Jackson with her son in compromising positions. She continued to listen attentively and without interruption.”

So Gutierrez actually started a conversation with introducing Michael Jackson as a ped-le. Then he enumerated all the cases that he allegedy “found” in support of his point of view and then he provided the “details”. And this vicious propaganda of his own views and imposing them on others is what he thought to be an “interview” ?

Mind you that this method of “interviewing” is actually Gutierrez’s own admission of the way he talked to Evan Chandler among many other parents he made rounds of.

Evan Chandler and others

Gutierrez says it himself that he made rounds of most Michael Jackson’s associates, so there is absolutely no reason to exclude Evan Chandler from the list. And it does not really matter whether this notable conversation with Joy Robson did or didn’t take place – the above description is priceless as it is the first-hand evidence of the typical way Gutierrez talked to ALL parents of children, their maids, secretaries, bodyguards and everyone else he could ever come into contact with MJ.

To all of them he introduced himself as a journalist who was writing about Jackson a book “which concerned his relationship with minors, including his being a pedophile” (!)

So it was already in the opening of the discussion that Gutierrez actually stated – not asked, wondered, or doubted – but stated that Michael Jackson had a “relationship with minors” “including his being a p-le”!

So this is how he went about this job? He put on his spectacles, assumed a serious expression on his face and presented himself as an unbiased researcher? He explained to the people that he was “listening to all sides and versions”, but in reality related his side of the story only as otherwise Joy Robson wouldn’t exclaim in reply to him: “It’s not true”!

And he assured people that some sinister “truth” (meaning his lies about MJ) would “come out one day”? He didn’t even ask them any questions but actually told them what he had “found about the cases involving other boys” and even “details how MJ went about persuading minors”?   He referred to some knowledgeable employees who allegedly saw MJ in “compromising positions” and all he expected of the people after listening to all that crap was what they had to add to his story? Not dispute, disagree, but just add to it?

Please remember that it was not only Blanca Francia, Orietta Murdoch and Norma Salinas who had  interviews with Gutierrez this way, but MJ’s personal maid Adrian McManus, bodyguard Ralph Chacon and many, many others who also admitted talking to this Gutierrez who was putting his nose into every corner and working his propaganda on almost everyone in sight!

Can you imagine what impression Gutierrez’s stories made on Evan Chandler when he heard them from VG? (I don’t doubt for a second that Gutierrez went to Evan Chandler too).

Evan was a seriously ill person and was suffering from Bipolar disorder which makes people alternate between hyperactivity, rage, delusions or even psychosis on the one hand, and anxiety, guilt, depression and suicidal thoughts on the other hand.

So it was one thing for the family like the Cascios to listen to Gutierrez’s stories (though I doubt that Gutierrez would have ever risked to approach them – they would have simply reported Gutierrez to Michael) and it was a totally different thing to have an unstable guy like Evan Chandler listen to the same story. He was suspicious and mistrustful the way he was, and if he listened to Gutierrez’s lies he could work himself into a condition of complete insanity.

Gutierrez was filling his mind with dark suspicions and provoking his rage which made Evan threaten MJ with a bloody massacre if he didn’t explain himself on the subjects which Evan even theoretically could not know of. This fury was immediately followed by heavy doubt, hesitation and total helplessness at the realization that he had nothing against Jackson except suspicions. Remember Evan’s conversation with David Schwartz where he spoke of a massacre for Michael Jackson though by his own admission he “had no idea what was going on”?

A quote from the GQ magazine tells us that Gutierrez was very much interested in Jordan Chandler’s case:

A pariah in the in the celebrity-sucking world of freelance entertainment journalism, Gutierrez was forced to give up his writing and for a while supported himself by selling satellite dishes. Then, in 1993, his interest was reawakened when he heard about a boy called Jordie Chandler with whom Jackson was appearing at huge media events, such as the World Music Awards in Monaco.

So his interest was reawakened when he heard of the boy called Jordie Chandler? And even after that you think that Gutierrez never spoke to Evan, telling him all those lies? But what reasons did Gutierrez have to exclude Evan from his list of parents or apply different tactics to him? None at all!

No, we can be absolutely sure that while Jordan Chandler was traveling with his mother, sister and Michael Jackson, Gutierrez was consistently poisoning Evan Chandler’s mind with fictional stories about other boys, providing their names, locations and horrible details of their “molestation” the way only Gutierrez is capable of doing it…

We also have every reason to believe that when Evan finally had Jordan solely at his disposal he used every minute of their time together to relate to him the stories of masturbation, oral sex and other atrocities persuading him that he should “come out clean” about Jackson at least for the sake of the other poor “victims”. Sodium amytal or no sodium amytal but after this kind of barraging, anyone could start thinking that there could be no smoke without fire …

The GQ article says that for the next five years after the NAMBLA conference (so at least until the year 1991/92) Gutierrez consistently danced around every person whom he managed to track in Michael’s surrounding. And to each of them he spoke in his inimitable style of a scandalmonger, agent provocateur and pedophilia taleteller (“I asked her to at least let me explain what I had found out”, “I told her about the cases involving other young boys”,  “I gave details about how he…”):

For the next five years Gutierrez tracked down as many of Jackson’s current and former associates as he could. Being Latino himself helped – it was relatively easy for him to strike up friendships with Jackson’s El Salvadorian maid, Blanca Francia, who left Jackson’s employment  in 1991, and the star’s Costa Rican PA, Orietta Murdock, who sued him for unfair dismissal in 1992. They told of a steady stream of young boy visitors to the ranch, all of them white, Asian or Latino. Jackson’s staff suspected that his “friendships” were more than friendly, not least because young guests to Neverland usually slept over in Michael’s quarters rather  than in one of the 36 guest bedrooms.

Never mind those 36 guest rooms lies – you are dealing with Gutierrez after all and should divide each of his stories by a hundred. Better pay attention to the people who were Gutierrez’s best sources:

“Thanks to the intervention of someone he will only identify as “a very good source within the house”, Gutierrez was able to arrange meetings with Jordie while the terms of the legal settlement were being hammered out. He obtained a copy of a diary, as well as legal papers. In many cases, these were supplied by the police, who started referring back to Gutierrez’s original manuscript after the Chandlers had come forward with their allegations in August 1993”

He is talking here of Norma Salinas or a maid in Evan Chandler’s home, which is proof enough that he was in that home and most probably had a chance to talk not only to the maid but probably to the whole household.

He even claims that he met Jordan personally and talked to him while the civil settlement was “hammered out” (out of Jackson of course).

So was Jordan’s association with Gutierrez the real reason why his story was so full of pedophilia fantasies and looked so terribly disgusting?  Look at who his teacher was…

However let us remember that no matter what Jordan said the only proof of his story was the description he gave of MJ’s genitalia and this description turned out to be hopelessly wrong. The proof of the pudding is in the eating (and not in speaking about it) and this maxim refers equally well to the lies told by both of them – Jordan Chandler and his teacher Victor Gutierrez.

Gutierrez’s story was more pornographic than anything ever found in Michael Jackson’s home and was the result of stitching together bits and pieces of speculation from Evan Chandler’s maid and the embellishments provided by Gutierrez’s own sick mind.

Roger Friedman wrote about it:

Sneddon Evidence Based on Banned Porn

As of Monday’s ruling, people who appear in a 1997 book by Victor Gutierrez, “Michael Jackson Was My Lover,” have entered the Jacko trial’s cast of characters. The book was not published in the U.S. because Jackson won a libel suit against the author.

Gutierrez’s writing is much more pornographic than anything the police say they found at Neverland.

Gutierrez, it is rumored, made up a lot of his material after stitching together bits and pieces of speculation from the maid who worked for the Chandlers, the family at the center of the 1993 case against Jacko.

Who Is He?

The fact that Gutierrez was one of the first who were summoned by the LAPD as soon as the allegations broke out in 1993 was stated in another article found by Lynande51. The article said that Gutierrez was interviewed for two days, several hours each, however no information was provided as to whether his stories were found helpful:

August 28, 1993

One of those interviewed was Victor Gutierrez, a Southern California free-lance journalist who has been working on a book about Jackson for several years. Gutierrez spoke to LAPD officers for two hours Thursday and was interviewed again Friday.

He would not disclose what transpired during those sessions, but he told The Times that he has interviewed for his book some of the same youngsters being sought for questioning by the LAPD.

http://articles.latimes.com/1993-08-28/news/mn-28760_1_michael-jackson

The fact that Gutierrez was one of the first to be interviewed by the LAPD made me wonder. Can there be at least something behind all those tales told by Gutierrez about his attachment to the Los Angeles Police department? Gutierrez is of course a totally pathological liar and we cannot believe anything of what he is saying, but what if there was some grain of truth in his pompous presentation of himself as a kind of an agent working for the LAPD?

There is one more article dating back to 2005 (the same period as Tagerszeitung and GQ articles were published) – it comes from a Spanish source and was translated for us by “Aldebaranredstar”.

Over there the tireless Gutierrez presented the public with one more version of why he started “investigating” Jackson. This third variant of the same story is the most pompous one and this is why it is probably his favorite – he recites it even now, each time someone wonders about how it all started.

This variant drops altogether the inconvenient fact that he attended the NAMBLA conference, but presents Gutierrez as some big shot who was important enough to be entrusted with a highly confidential task. Now he says that the FBI provided him with a “list of famous pedophiles in Los Angeles” and he started acting upon it!  Are we to believe that the FBI was so short of their own personnel that they were waiting for Gutierrez to arrive in the US to provide him with the list and ask him to verify it for them???

The article says that Gutierrez hired a private investigator who came up with 36 cases after which he started visiting the “victims” one by one. In addition to all that the article says that Gutierrez began working for NBC in 2004 to cover Michael Jackson’s trial and cooperated Martin Bashir at ABC (after the first documentary aired) as one of his four assistants. He had even made two TV reports by the time the article was published.

It also says that Gutierrez’s book was used by the police “as a document” and this validates the rumors we heard from other sources which said that the whole D.A. Sneddon’s department studied Gutierrez’s book before the trial.

All this is very interesting of course, but let us leave these thrilling matters for another time and look only into that FBI thing as it is a top priority for us at the moment:

Victor Gutierrez, an advisor to Bashir

Saturday March 19, 2005 Paulina Toro / Mercury | The Universal

Chile. When no one imagined that Michael Jackson could have deviant sexual relations with boys, FBI agents gave journalist Victor Gutierrez a list of famous pedophiles in Los Angeles. Among them was Jackson’s name.

Gutierrez, who at that time worked at a ‘hot’ American newspaper, was interested. He contacted a private investigator, came up with 36 cases and began to visit the victims of Jackson one by one. Afterwards, he wrote a book, Michael Jackson Was My Lover.

Jackson sued him. A chief of security of the King of Pop threatened Victor Gutierrez with death.

But Gutierrez continued his investigation. In 1993 the first case of sexual abuse against Jackson appeared, the minor Chandler. Gutierrez began to be right. He was able to publish his book and the USA police used it as a document.

In 2004 the Chilean journalist started working with NBC in its reports on Jackson’s case. But in December of that year, another TV channel ABC, contacted him as an advisor to the reporter who succeeded in bringing Jackson before the court: Martin Bashir. This is the British journalist who got Jackson to admit that he had slept with children.

Gutierrez, who here in Chile uncovered the “Colmillo Blanco” case about the Comando Conjunto in 2002, thus began as an official ‘consulting producer’ for Bashir. In ABC in NY they explain that the Chilean works with an exclusive contract with Bashir and is one of his 4 direct collaborators.

The Chilean also will collaborate with ABC’s  20/20 and will follow the Jackson case, a scandal which he discovered more than 10 years ago.

Martin Bashir is a witness inside the Jackson case. Victor Gutierrez is his investigative advisor. Bashir and his team have already made 2 reports, one of them was the interview with Corey Feldman, who said that Jackson had showed him a book of nudes. Feldman also will be a witness.

So the FBI agents gave journalist Victor Gutierrez a “list of LA famous pedophiles” so that he could check it up? And this was in the year 1986 mentioned by Gutierrez in another article – which can indeed be described as the time when no one yet imagined anything bad about Michael Jackson?

The idea of the FBI request is highly ridiculous of course, however the question we need to ask is how ridiculous it is – wholly or only partially? Was there ever such a list at all? If the police knew all these people why didn’t they arrest them? And how could they entrust a total outsider with a highly confidential document like that? Why didn’t the police conduct all those interviews themselves? What did they need Gutierrez for? And if he received the whole list of many abusers where are his findings on the other people?

You see that to solve this FBI matter I had to ask myself all possible and impossible questions.

Could Gutierrez be an FBI agent, for example? The answer is No, he couldn’t. To become an FBI agent a foreigner should first become a US citizen, have certain qualifications, undergo a lengthy period of various tests and should be well above many others on a highly competitive federal level. Even if Gutierrez obtained a US citizenship within the period of 1984-86 he would still not qualify for the job. However the article does not even claim that Gutierrez was a FBI agent (he only “received a list from them”) so my question about such a possibility was an unnecessary one.

Could Gutierrez be a sort of a special agent, but working for some local law enforcement body? Police, a special sex-abuse crime unit, drug-enforcement agency (all of which he also mentioned in some interviews, assuming a serious expression each time)?

The description of a special agent convinced me that over here Gutierrez wouldn’t qualify either – there was nothing special about this creature that would make him eligible for this highly competitive work, especially immediately upon arrival in the US:

A special agent is someone who works for a government agency in an investigative capacity. A career as a special agent usually requires citizenship with the government the agent works for, along with the ability to pass a background check and physical exam.

The title of special agent is reserved for employees who engage in investigative duties. Special agents can be involved in criminal investigations, drug enforcement, investigations into financial crimes, anti-terrorism units, and a variety of other tasks. To work as a special agent, someone may need to qualify for employment as a regular agent first, working his or her way up the ranks and eventually applying to become a special agent. Other agencies hire special agents directly, often preferring people with a military or law enforcement background, or a high level of education. The requirements for different kinds of special agents can vary considerably; the IRS, for example, likes people with an accounting background, while the Secret Service may look for ex-police and ex-military.

http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-a-special-agent.htm

However there is one status which Gutierrez would probably fit – and this is the position of an informant. In my opinion Gutierrez has all the makings of an informant who can work for the police on a voluntary basis, for money or in order to obtain lenient treatment for himself:

An informant is a person who provides privileged information about a person or organization to an agency. The term is usually used within the law enforcement world, where they are officially known as confidential or criminal informants (CI), and can often refer pejoratively to the supply of information without the consent of the other parties with the intent of malicious, personal or financial gain.

Informants are commonly found in the world of organized crime. By its very nature, organized crime involves many people who are aware of each other’s guilt, in a variety of illegal activities. Quite frequently, confidential informants (or criminal informants) will provide information in order to obtain lenient treatment for themselves and provide information, over an extended period of time, in return for money or for police to overlook their own criminal activities. Quite often, someone will become an informant following their arrest.

Informants are also extremely common in every-day police work, including homicide and narcotics investigations. Any citizen who aids an investigation by offering helpful information to the police is by definition an informant.

The part which impressed me most is that informants can cooperate with the police for money or in order to obtain “lenient treatment for themselves” as well as the fact that “their own criminal activities can be overlooked” in return for their services.

Why is this so important for us? Because it fits in perfectly well with such facts of Gutierrez’s biography like his attendance of the NAMBLA conference and the probability of him being a member of this organization.

Generally speaking boy-lovers come under heavy suspicion of the police, but in case of informants their activity can even be encouraged (in order to meet others, attend conferences, join various activities) or intentionally “overlooked”, of course if they behave well with the police.

What I mean is that it is one thing to have to infiltrate the organization by a special agent who should be trained for the job and wait for full two years before he is finally admitted there, and it is a totally different thing to use a ready-made member of it, who is willing to serve as an informant and in return for his services is not touched by the authorities.

They will be totally disgusted to use this informant’s services of course, but will still listen to the scoundrel as it is their scoundrel and he may be occasionally helpful to the police who he sometimes associates with.

Does the definition of an informant apply to Victor Gutierrez? I think it does, and applies admirably! Psychologically he is just the right type, very well motivated by his own pedophilia agenda, extremely interested in financial incentives and the promotion of his career, and thinking that his own boy lover’s interests would help him in the job of “investigating” Michael Jackson.

The strange boy-lover’s interests of this strange guy explain perfectly well the strange role Gutierrez is playing in this strange Michael Jackson’s case.

There is indeed something unusual about Gutierrez’s status in this story – everyone in the police reads Gutierrez’s book and he was even the first to be interviewed by them, however when it comes to Gutierrez himself there is a totally unnatural silence around his name. You can even notice some shyness, if I may say so, or embarrassment on the part of the D.A. or police, when they have to mention him. Even Diane Dimond for whom Gutierrez was indeed her “best source” rarely speaks of Gutierrez as such.

This is the paradox of Victor Gutierrez – everyone knows him, but no one admits that he does.

Isn’t it highly unusual? What is the reason for it? Isn’t it the fact that he is really the one we think him to be and people try to disassociate themselves from this person?

And isn’t it due to him being a boylover that his attendance of a NAMBLA conference was absolutely not a chance one? In fact the question is unnecessary as he simply could not be there in any other capacity than a member of it, as our joint investigation has shown it!

So it looks like everyone knows who Gutierrez really is, only no one says it out loud and pretends they have no idea…

Jolie, thank you. Though Johnny Cochran doesn’t say anything new, the video is still a very important document as he confirms here that “the investigation included more than 430 witnesses worldwide, many of whom were talked to 2,3 or 4 times”, and still no charges were made though “they did everything they possibly could”.

    Dear Helena,

    Fyi…another addition to your narrative.

MJCast recent interview for Victory Day 2016.

This interview of Scott Ross Private Investigator, who was key to the success of the Defense of Michael Jackson in 2005, I think adds new information. See YouTube description below:

“Eleven years ago today, on June 13th 2005, the King of Pop Michael Jackson was acquitted of molestation allegations in a trial that took an insurmountable toll on his life. Although this day is not one we celebrate, it is one we remember each year for the fact that Michael was finally vindicated for the heinous allegations brought against him. On this special episode, The MJCast’s Legal Correspondent Charles Thomson along with regular hosts Jamon Bull and Q interview Scott Ross, a somewhat overlooked figure of the trial, but one whose work lead attorney Tom Mesereau says was crucial to the defence team’s success…”

How could we evolve, grow up and become who we want if we can’t be able to LIVE and to DIE in peace, especially if your name is Michael Jackson?! I’m a big fan and I suggest that people must know the truth, please Let’s create a website which reunites all MJ’s fans and others to DESTROY the MJ’s enemies by a pacific way, he deserves that 🙂

They stipulate a time when all participants send an email to the 4 given email addresses of the Mirror at the same time to protest against the slander of MJ. The next mass email protest is today at 5 pm GMT, the last one was this morning at 9 GMT (London time).
You can write whatever you want to protest against their reports (don’t use MJ’s name in the email title) and send it from all your email accounts to them at the stipulated time.

    Dec. 23, 2009
A lawyer for the Michael Jackson family said that the now public but heavily redacted FBI file on the late pop superstar shows that “there’s not one scrap of evidence” that Michael Jackson ever harmed a child.
“In all these pages, hundreds of pages, many many hours of investigations … there’s not one scrap of evidence that Michael Jackson ever … did anything wrong, committed any crime,” said Brian Oxman, who represented several members of the Jackson family. “It’s almost a vindication, when you look at this. The FBI looked at all of these matters and said, ‘There’s nothing here.'”
Oxman said the sheer scope of the documents — 333 pages out of the 673-page file were made public — came as a shock to the Jackson family.
“I spoke to Joe Jackson last night. He said that this FBI file was something he never heard of,” Oxman said. “We’re surprised and shocked by what we found.”
Click here to read the FBI file from 2004 child molestation case.
Oxman said he knew the file existed but “had no idea” the FBI had investigated Jackson’s home computers in search of child pornography as the documents state.
According to one of the FBI agents involved in the Jackson investigation, the bureau was brought in at the request of local police.

    ABC News Photo Illustration
“We have the international and interstate capabilities that local law enforcement and local DAs don’t have,” agent James Clemente told “Good Morning America.”
One major revelation in the more than 300 pages of government documents was that the FBI had assisted Santa Barbara, Calif., officials in their attempt to get cooperation from a person who could have been a key witness in the 2005 child molestation case against Michael Jackson: the boy who accused the pop star of molesting him in 1993.
No criminal charges were ever filed in the 1993 case. Instead, the then 12-year-old boy refused to cooperate with officials and accepted a multi-million dollar settlement from Jackson.
The documents released Tuesday under the Freedom of Information Act show that the FBI and Santa Barbara officials met in 2004 with Jackson’s 1993 accuser but were unsuccessful in getting his cooperation.
Jackson was acquitted of all charges in the 2005 case, which went to trial.
    Molestation Accuser Identity Redacted
The heavily redacted FBI documents do not reveal the name of the boy that officials met with.
“Victim indicates that he has no interest in testifying against Jackson,” according to the documents, “and would legally fight any attempt to do so.”
Prior to the FBI’s interview with the accuser, the documents show that the FBI helped Santa Barbara prosecutors with “interview strategies for a victim who alleged that Michael Jackson had abused him in 1993.”
The documents also quote the boy as saying that he “believed that he had done his part,” presumably referring to his initial involvement with law enforcement before agreeing to a civil settlement with Jackson that is believed to be $20 million.
Former FBI Behavioral Unit agent Ken Lanning, who consulted on the 2003 molestation case, told ABCNews.com Tuesday that this kind of coordination is common.
“Child molestation cases are the type of cases that involve multi agencies,” he said. “There were potential federal violations and the FBI has jurisdiction in a couple of areas. What the FBI behavioral analysis unit does is try to work on the approach, help them understand the issues.”
    Dec. 23, 2009
The documents also reveal that Santa Barbara police had concerns about a possible terrorist attack related to the 2003 arrest of Jackson, which led to a request for FBI assistance. The FBI concluded there was no threat.
The 1993 accuser’s mother, June did testify at the trial 2005 and told the court that the ordeal with Jackson in 1993 fractured the boy’s family and cost her the relationship she had with her son.
The accuser’s father Evan killed himself last month. A onetime Beverly Hills dentist, Evan was found in his New Jersey waterfront apartment dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Sources close to the family say his suicide most likely stemmed from his longtime debilitating illness.
During the 2005 trial it was known that the FBI’s behavioral and forensics units had consulted on the case, but the file released Tuesday reveals that various arms of the FBI assisted the Santa Barbara district attorney’s office.
They included the crimes against children unit (CACU), innocent images national initiative against children unit, computer analysis response team (CART), the FBI lab, Los Angeles NCAVC coordinator and the Department of Justice’s child exploitation and obscenity section (CEO’s).
The FBI examined Jackson’s motor vehicle records to see if he “transported a minor across state lines for immoral purposes.” The agency went to London and Manila to investigate other accusations that Jackson had engaged in improper behavior with boys.
The agency also investigated another allegation from a woman and her husband who worked in child services in Toronto, Canada. The couple had taken the same train as Jackson from Chicago to the Grand Canyon and said Jackson had a minor boy with him whom he identified as a “cousin.” The couple reported that Jackson was possessive of the boy and that they heard questionable noises. The woman was concerned enough to notify a conductor.
Before the 2005 trial, the FBI and DA also met to discuss “…the collection of sexually explicit images in magazine and books” and a VHS videotape that the FBI analyzed as part of a child pornography investigation.
Also within the documents is a lot of material pertaining to threats made by Frank Paul Jones, who was convicted in 1993 of stalking Janet Jackson and threatening to commit mass murder at a Michael Jackson concert.
Click here to read the FBI file from the extortion investigation
This was all reported at the time, but it’s not clear if Jones’ letters were ever released.
In one letter, dated 5/21/1992, Jones threatened to kill Michael Jackson if “I don’t get my money.”
Jones copied the FBI and the late mob boss John Gotti on the letter. He also threatened to kill President George H.W. Bush.
On July 16, 1992 Jones threatened in another letter to “commit mass murder” at a Michael Jackson concert, if necessary, in an attempt to kill Jackson.

Please note that the link to the FBI page provided in the article does not work as well.

750 is a very modest figure, but if you look at the numbers since the avaaz petition was posted, in may, we have not reached the 750. Should we be that ambitious to ask for 1 million? At least, if we forward it to our own networks of friends, there might be a chance we increase that number.
Also, maybe 750 is what needs the foundation, to be convinced to sue WR?

    @ Jan,

“why hasn’t this been splashed all over the internet?”

Because the people who have influence or control the news does not want it all over the Internet and in local papers. They do not want regular people, the targeted audience sitting at the lunch table comparing the two stories. They want people discussing the one and making uninformed judgements. Even as I write this, a group is trying to raise money in order to have the CNN article placed in a respectable newspaper in their area. ….. imagine that!!!!!

Ignore or get paid to report the truth or get paid to report the lies. What does that say about our Media? What does it say about us that we have allowed things to get to this point ?

Explain why a paper would not want to reprint this article? Why is the NBC Network doing whatever they can to support W.R? Everything from an interview where nothing is challenged to a rebuttal by a well respect attorney cut murderously short and now no longer found on their site?

Explain why each time someone speaks in defense or well of Michael a new and uglier article appears?

The Mirror has been at it again. Today they released a new piece of distorted history. There are many disturbing aspects about this business. There is the question of why and why not, which I suspect are tied to things to come out of the AEG trial.

Here is a petition on avatar to sign. http://www.avaaz.org/en/petition/A_defamation_case_against_Wade_Robson_in_the_event_that_his_new_allegations_are_shown_to_be_false/?cgKixab – bluefenix03

Oh I fully agree and signed too. Something needs to be done!

    Why this is important

We have sympathy for all true victims of child molestation. We would also like to point out that this is not about blindly defending Michael Jackson, it’s about protecting the legacies of the deceased who can’t defend themselves. Pedophilia can be a very serious allegation and can destroy a person’s image, which is grossly unfair if they happen to be innocent.

Wade Robson claims he’s not making these new allegations for money, yet he’s filed a civil case against the estate the same time the estate is filing a suit against AEG. He also claims it’s not an issue of “repressed memory,” so why would lie at the 2005 trial if a kid’s testimony depended on him. Indeed, Wade Robson has had success as a choreographer but two years ago, he suffered a breakdown and he hasn’t worked for a year.

Defamation is the communication of statements which harm an individual’s image. In the United states, as in many common law jurisdictions, a person can sue the individual or corporation who makes these false claims. Unfortunately, there is no remedy for the deceased due to a common law rule that “one can’t defame the dead.” On the other hand, a corporation, or non-profit organization, affected by defamatory comments can launch a defamation suit. This is why we are calling on the “Heal the world” foundation to launch a defamation suit against Wade, as they are the only entity close enough the the Michael Jackson estate that can legally launch a defamation suit.
Indeed, it’s sad that a foundation based on love and peace should have to take hard action like this, but even after his death, Michael Jackson appears to be a vulnerable for target for people who want to get a quick pay-check or seek attention. Even if Wade Robson’s new claims are struck out by the court, there’s no stopping a wave of young people from making false claims against the Michael Jackson Estate for money. The only solution would be for the foundation to take a hard stance and counter-sue Wade Robson for everything he’s worth if he loses his new claim of sexual abuse.
We all know that the money the foundation gets from the suit will be used for doing what Michael intended, making the world a better place. Even if you’re not a Michael Jackson fan, you can agree that it’s unfair for a deceased person, who can’t defend himself to face false allegations of sexual abuse and not have any sort of remedy. It’s also unfair to the true victims of sex abuse if Wade is lying.

A defamation law suit against Wade Robson (if his current allegations are shown to be false) will send out a message that if someone is going to make new claims of sexual abuse it better be true because false allegations are not to be taken lightly.

“I don’t see Wade and his family being homeless and broke as Gutierrez claims. Even if they had limited funds, Michael was so involved in their lives at this time, he would never have allowed them to be homeless and broke.” – Rosalynn Smith

Certainly not. What Gutierrez saw was the usual show which all boys who danced like MJ occasionally did. They showed their craft in the streets and everyone applauded. Even Jordan Chandler danced in the street and his stepfather David jokingly placed a hat on the ground to collect money. Ray Chandler describes it in his book. It was simple fun usual for that time:

By age six Jordie had memorized the words to half a dozen Jackson songs and taught himself many of the star’s dance moves. One evening, while walking in Westwood with his father, mother and stepfather, Jordie generated an instant crowd when he launched into his MJ routine to the sound of Beat It blasting from a radio Dave had brought. “Wow, look at him go,” one onlooker shouted as she threw a dollar into the hat that Dave had jokingly placed on the ground.

But as regards Gutierrez’s interpretation of WR’s scene – well, and what else did you expect? I recently wrote here that one writer asked Gutierrez to make a summary of his book and was horrified to see the result – the summary was longer than the book and they were new characters added to it. This is how far his imagination goes. And Gutierrez was still a boy then. With time he became only more sophisticated in his lies and perfected his skills.

Here’s a couple quick thoughts about Gutierrez’ claim to have accidentally run into Joy and Wade Robson at Venice Beach in June 1992 – homeless and without funds, and with Wade dancing to feed the family. Joy moved herself, Wade and Chantal to LA in 1991. Per Joy, she was financially assisted by Michael by being paid for working at a company that funneled her pay through one of Michael’s companies (i.e. she was listed at Michael’s company as an employee). Also by June 1992, Wade had worked in at least two of the three Dangerous album music short films – Black or White (1991), Jam (filmed spring 1992), Heal the World (1992 but didn’t check when this was filmed). I don’t see Wade and his family being homeless and broke as Gutierrez claims. Even if they had limited funds, Michael was so involved in their lives at this time, he would never have allowed them to be homeless and broke.

“Frank Dileo’s widow and daughter have both been held in contempt for failing to turn over his laptop computer and cell phone. What do they have to hide? http://teammichaeljackson.com/archives/8910#.UdZIu-AicNU.twitter” – lopsided man

I hope no one doubts now that we have to do with a criminal gang here?

I’ve retyped part of the TeamMichaelJackson’s message about it as they evidently have information on what was taking place in court in April this year:

In court hearing this is what has happened April 16th/22nd
Panish served a subpoena for Frank Dileo’s computer,
Melvin Putnam flew to the state Mrs. Dileo lives in and represented Mrs. Dileo.
Mrs. Dileo’s attorney was on conference call to the court where the Jackson v AEG Live lawsuit was pending downtown Los Angeles.
Mrs. Dileo’s attorney informed the judge that Mrs. Dileo said she did not retain Marvin Putnam to represent her, and she had no idea why he was representing her!
Her computer was taken away from her by AEG Live when Frank Dileo died, she did not know why they took it.
Consequently that computer was returned to her (presumably after anything of importance was deleted from it).
She then gave that computer to her daughter who then gave it to a friend. Since the court hearing in her Sate where Putnam represented her she had located the computer.
She promised to turn it over to her attorney.
Her attorney promised to get all the emails from that computer and give them to the AEG Live and Jackson attorneys.
Marvin Putnam stated he had NO PROBLEM with that.
Mr. Panish stated he was NOT satisfied with that, he wanted the computer as he had an expert that can retrieve any emails from that computer, EVEN IF THEY ARE DELETED…
So now we have been waiting weeks for that hard drive to be examined, Mr. Panish agreed to have the hard drive examined with Mrs. Dileo’s attorneys involvement in case there are sensitive private emails that are not related to the present case…
Since then we have been waiting,, and waiting,,, and waiting,,,
Today it was revealed Mrs. Dileo had refused to hand over that computer.

Nothing illustrates the EVIL of the beasts we’re dealing with, than this line from the Sunday People story. They make it clear that they’re aware of the harm this will cause Michael’s 3 kids – and consider that this was published after Paris’ hospitalization. This goes beyond just money and media sensationalism that typically follows celebrities. They’re operating on pure hatred of Michael.

“The files will also dismay Jacko’s kids, Prince, 16, Paris, 15, and 11-year-old Blanket, who have not yet come to terms with losing their father,” the Sunday People story said.

Helena, have you seen this?: http://sylmortilla.wordpress.com/author/sylmortilla/ – nicoletta

Now I’ve seen it and think that the innocent truth about Michael should be told in every way possible. There are so many lies spread about him that each person will find a job for himself – be it in a facebook group or something else. My only request and advice is not to protest just for the sake of protesting but use every chance to tell the truth about Michael.

Here is the text from the sylmortilla site:

“Michael Jackson spent £23 MILLION buying silence of at least TWO DOZEN young boys he abused over 15 years”
“Secret FBI files exclusively seen by the Sunday People reveal how superstar bought off parents and victims”
“Michael Jackson enticed “lost boys” into sordid fantasy world hidden from their parents”

All of these headlines utilised by last Sunday’s The People newspaper are nothing but slanderous sensationalism, yet they were seen by millions of people and promulgated by news networks all over the world. And accepted by many as fact.

Of course, as Michael Jackson fans, we’re by no means strangers to having to fend off baseless accusations. But now Michael can’t defend himself.

It is perhaps too late now to organise a protest against The People, as for maximum impact the iron needs to be struck whilst hot. However, AEG is a dangerous animal now it has been backed into a corner; and it wields a great deal of power within the media. We have not seen the last of these tactics.

What I’m proposing is a rapid response group. A Facebook group has been set up (search ‘Voice As One’), as well as a Twitter account (@voiceasone). The idea is that we can use social networking to quickly organise and rally our troops for protest the next time such lies are publicised: be that through picketing or petition. Join us. We have strength in numbers.

This issue, above all others, is the single most important one with regards Michael’s legacy. The perpetuation of the lie of Michael being a child molester undermines his life’s work, his message and his mission. To fight against this, we can disregard our other differences. This is a cause that can unite the Michael Jackson fan community.

The press are now more vulnerable in the wake of the Leveson enquiry. We will not stand idly by and watch Michael Jackson slandered. We will make a noise; we will raise our voice as one.

“All this smear campaign have perfect timing ( the trial AEG) before that when the Jackson claimed the will was fake the tabloids were at it again ( Janet had… Paris) everything to turn the public agains them. Who is controlling the media???who all this benefit???” – Carole Tia

If it were in my country I could more or less tell who is controlling the media, but over here I don’t know. I can only guess that these are very powerful groups of people with really big money who do not depend on anyone. It is governments that depend on them, because every politician who does not flirt with the media groups may be dragged through the mud, and by the time the innocent truth is known it is too late. This is why Margaret Thatcher was friends with Rupert Murdoch as I’ve read.

Governments come and go, and these people stay. When I look at what they’ve done to Michael Jackson I think that they treat human beings like dolls to play games with.

Remember that Michael was a prototype for the great movie “The Truman show” about a reality show where one man lived his whole life never knowing that his each step was shown on TV and his life was just a means to sell various products. They had cameras even in his bathroom. When at some point he started asking questions his wife said into the camera “I am quitting. It is impossible to work in such conditions”.

In the movie the reality show was run from no other place but the Moon and was directed by one man. How it is done in real life I don’t know. Originally the script for the movie had a tragic end, but then they changed it into a happy end – the man escaped from the reality show as the director of it actually said to his team – “if he really wants to escape he will be able to do it”.

I think that this is the key to the whole thing. If we want to escape from their power over us we can do it. All we need to do is learn how to see through their lies and that’s it. There will be no point in lying if they try their hardest and we still know the truth. This is when they will simply stop playing their games as they will be no longer effective.

It is just like Jesus said – “search for the truth and it will make you free”.

    P.S.

There is a post about this movie and its connection with MJ in this blog (made very long ago so some info may be outdated). It was a funny experience – first I thought that the movie reminded me of Michael Jackson and only then I found out that it was indeed about him: https://vindicatemj.wordpress.com/2011/01/16/the-truman-show-for-michael-jackson-will-they-notice-that-everyone-is-acting-their-part/

“Now, why, 4 years after his death, a huge file from the FBI mysteriously lands on the desk of a newspaper, at a critical moment of the ongoing trial. According to the same newspaper, it constitutes the proof that Michael Jackson was really a ped-le; the truth is finally revealed!
For any sensible mind, this whole event does not fit the picture: If the FBI scrutinized Michael Jackson for decades and kept records of him, but failed to provide any worthy material to the 2005 trial, it simply means they had nothing. In the event those files were of any interest, why releasing them now?
To sum it up, whatever these tabloids say now are just plain lies. They are just trying to reproduce a Jimmy Savile story.” – bluefenix03

Thank you very much for the text. Let us not consider it a petition but just one of the possible replies to those who fall for the tabloid lies. After all our goal is to encourage people to think for themselves and making them answer questions is the best way to do it.

The only thing I’ve changed is the word ped-le in its full form – I personally never use it with Michael’s name.

This terrible association link between his name and this word should be broken. I use only the word INNOCENT as regards Michael.

You can’t imagine how happy I am to hear it from you. And it’s not because you share my point of view here, but because it began to distress me like hell that Americans seems to be insensitive to these things.

“Bombarding the FBI to respond to these inaccurate revelations probably won’t have an effect. They are not the kind of organization that is beholding to the public. They have nothing to gain by taking a stand in this issue.”

Oh, they absolutely have nothing to gain, that’s true.

“Putting hope in the possibility that Jordan Chandler will one day come forward and tell the truth is true folly. I believe he is no longer Jordan Chandler. He is someone else. The truth will die with him.”

I may be an impossible idealist, but think that one day he may tell the truth – probably decades later. There is one condition for it though – the general atmosphere around Jackson should be different. Seeing what is happening now Jordan Chandler will never say a word. It is simply dangerous.

I really don’t know how Michael Jackson managed to get up every morning and put one foot in front of the other. His courage and determination to rise above it all is beyond description. His life must have been unimaginably chaotic and brutal. His children were the only normal aspect of his life. Thankfully, he’s beyond the ugly tenacles of lies now. After this trial is over, I pray that he is remembered for his brilliant artistry and musical contribution to our world. Everything else should simply be dust in the wind

    Great words of wisdom.

Do you know how Gutierrez is making a name for himself? When Larry King was retiring and was presenting his book Gutierrez came over to have a copy signed. Of course he did not come alone and a photographer took a picture of the moment.

And now I am sure that Gutierrez is bragging to everyone that he is friends with Larry King! He even put his hand on Larry King’s chair so that it looks like it is on his shoulder.

I nearly fell off my chair when I saw this picture:

As you remember Gutierrez never said that he was an informant – he first pretended that he was a “reporter covering the NAMBLA conference for his newspaper” and then an “undercover agent working for the LAPD”. This later version is the one which is widely accepted by the Chilean press where he told his story a hundred times. It boosts his self-importance and adds to his TV aura of a “big authority”, on Michael Jackson in particular.

Whenever they discuss Michael Jackson they call Gutierrez and he tells his most terrible lies there with everyone listening to him with their mouth open. “Raping boys”, “dozens of victims”, etc. are the key themes. Another key theme is that he is so big an expert on Michael Jackson that American TV is almost fighting for getting his invaluable services as a consultant.

So if this is what they believe him to be I decided to look into the very worst of the hypotheses – that he really worked for the police in some capacity, and after studying the matter realized that the most he could be was only an informant, but not an agent as he claims.

To become an agent one should fit a whole series of requirements which he absolutely did not fit. In fact I am not even sure that he stayed in the US on a legal basis. He came from Chile to cover the Olympic Games in 1984 and just did not return to Chile. With a status like his it was impossible to become an agent two years later, by 1986 when he attended that NAMBLA conference.

So we can perfectly well consider Gutierrez a complete nobody. The informant version is just one of the possible variants.

But if he was a nobody I cannot understand why all of them – Sneddon, Diane Dimond, Bashir, ABC and NBC – paid so much attention to this creature. From some reports we know that Sneddon and the whole of his department read his book, and in the transcripts of the trial you see the name of Gutierrez raised several times even by Thomas Mesereau (“Did you discuss it with Gutierrez?”), and the examination of the witnesses there generally follows Gutierrez’s book as if it was a script for the trial.

Oh, a very good article and many new facts are revealed. As to Dimond, she may not be that hopeless after all. I will include this article in the Voice of Reason page:

Tabloid report on Michael Jackson ‘FBI files’ questioned
    By Alan Duke, CNN
updated 7:26 AM EDT, Thu July 4, 2013

    STORY HIGHLIGHTS
CNN’s Drew Griffin: “None of this is new — zero — and there was no FBI involvement”
“This stuff was not in the FBI files,” former Jackson lawyer Tom Mesereau says
“The paper took this old story and (made) it seem new,” journalist Diane Dimond says
A former porn actor whose investigator’s license was revoked is linked to the material

Los Angeles (CNN) — A London tabloid declared Sunday that “secret FBI files” reveal Michael Jackson paid millions to silence dozens of boys he abused.

The story quickly echoed throughout global media, perhaps in part because of the trial of the Jackson family’s wrongful death lawsuit against a concert promoter and the recent suicide attempt by Jackson’s teenage daughter.

A website can enjoy a sharp spike in traffic — which can translate into advertising revenue — with a sensational headline.

But journalists and others who have closely followed the controversies and legal fights surrounding the pop star found the description by the Sunday People newspaper of the documents as being from FBI files to be questionable.

    ‘Recycled tabloid reports’

“None of this is new — zero — and there was no FBI involvement,” said CNN Special Investigations reporter Drew Griffin. “It just sounds like recycled tabloid reports from 20 years ago.”

Griffin saw and reported on the same material more than a decade ago as a local Los Angeles reporter.

“The bottom line is this stuff was not in the FBI files,” said Tom Mesereau, the lawyer who successfully defended Jackson against child molestation charges in a lengthy trial in 2005. “The FBI closed the investigation. It sounds like a bunch of utter nonsense.”

Journalist Diane Dimond, who is no defender of the pop icon, also attacked the Sunday People article.

“It is obvious the paper took this old story and proceeded to make it seem new by adding numbers to it — 24 boys paid off $35 million by Michael Jackson,” Dimond said. “The problem is there’s no evidence to back up the claim that Jackson made that many payoffs.”

Dimond’s book “Be Careful Who You Love: Inside the Michael Jackson Case” details her coverage of allegations of improper relationships between Jackson and boys.

The tabloid report was published at a critical time for the Jackson family, as its wrongful death lawsuit against a concert promoter entered its 10th week and while Jackson’s daughter, Paris, is being treated after a reported suicide attempt.

“The files will also dismay Jacko’s kids, Prince, 16, Paris, 15, and 11-year-old Blanket, who have not yet come to terms with losing their father,” the Sunday People story said.

Michael Jackson considered the British tabloids’ use of “Jacko” to be a derogatory term.

Griffin, Dimond and Mesereau each point to Paul Barresi, a former porn actor who lost his private investigator’s license for fabricating evidence, as the person who possessed the material published Sunday.

It included an audio recording of an interview done by Jim Mitteager, a reporter with the U.S.-based Globe tabloid, with a couple who worked as chefs at Jackson’s Neverland Ranch. Mitteager left the tape to Baressi when he died of cancer in 1997.

“Paul Barresi made it no secret over the years that he had come into possession of the Mitteager tapes and that they included a long interview with Philip and Stella LeMarque, the former live-in couple at Neverland,” Dimond said. “He discussed the tapes and their contents with me on several occasions.”

Griffin said Barresi also gave him access to the material years ago. It included reports Barresi wrote when he worked for now-disgraced celebrity investigator Anthony Pellicano. Pellicano is serving a 15-year federal prison sentence for a wiretapping and racketeering convictions.

    Porn star turned P.I.

“Since Barresi has fairly recently been stripped of his P.I.’s license, I can imagine that money has been tight for him,” Dimond said. “My best guess is that the UK paper offered Mr. Barresi several thousand dollars for his copies of the old Pellicano files.”

When CNN called Barresi on Tuesday to ask if he sold the materials to the newspaper, he responded: “I have no comment and that’s all I have to say.”
But before the question could be posed, he asked if the reporter wanted to know how many times he’s had sex in a hammock. He explained it was a common question people ask because of his porn film career.

Barresi’s films, with titles such as “Married Men with Men on the Side” and “Leather Bears and Smooth Chested Huskies,” won him the X-Rated Critics’ award for best “group grope scene” in 1985 and he was inducted into the GayVN’s Hall of Fame in 2008.

Barresi, now 60, retired from the porn business to focus more on his investigative work, but court records suggest he was not as successful in that work.

He obtained a California private investigator’s license in 2009, but lost it three years later. He signed a “stipulated settlement” with the state admitting that he faked a report about an ex-girlfriend’s drug use to get her fired from her hospital job as a nurse in 2011.

Federal court records also show Barresi and his wife filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in 2010.

    Tabloid stands by story

A Sunday People spokesman would not confirm that Barresi was the paper’s source or if it paid for access, but he did stand by the story.
“Our article clearly states that we have seen copies of reports, phone transcripts and interviews carried out by an agent working for private investigator Anthony Pellicano who had been hired by Michael Jackson,” Rupert Smith said in an e-mail to CNN. “The files were seized by the FBI when Pellicano was himself investigated in 2002. The documents then became part of the FBI’s files on Jackson case numbers CADCE MJ-02463 and CR 01046.”
In fact, the FBI released files it collected on Michael Jackson in December 2009, six months after his death. Most of them related to the federal agency’s support of the California investigations of child molestation allegations against the entertainer.

Los Angeles Police, who were investigating child molestation allegations against Jackson, called the FBI’s Los Angeles office in September 1993 to suggest the agency look into a “possible federal violation against Jackson concerning transportation of a minor across state lines for immoral purposes (Mann Act)”, one document said.

The Los Angeles County district attorney did not pursue criminal charges against Jackson, but the singer did reach a confidential financial settlement with the 1993 accuser, Jordan Chandler, and his father after they filed a lawsuit. Reports at the time said the Chandlers got between $16 million and $20 million from Jackson’s insurance company.

The Chandler accusation became a key part of the prosecution’s case when Jackson was tried and acquitted of molestation a decade later in Santa Barbara County, California.

Mesereau, who reviewed the 330 redacted pages released by the FBI, said the documents purported by the newspaper to have been included in the files were not there.

CNN also reviewed the files, which are still posted on the FBI website, and found none referring to other payoffs by Jackson. None of the file numbers matched those quoted by the newspaper.

“You can imagine what the prosecutor in Santa Barbara would have done with this information if they really had it,” Mesereau said.

Phillip LeMarque did testify, telling the court that he once caught Jackson improperly touching then-child actor Macaulay Culkin while he worked as Jackson’s self-described cook and “majordomo” for about 10 months in 1991.

Culkin, the second witness called in Jackson’s defense, denied any improper touching by Jackson.

    Jackson’s guilt is ‘inconsequential’

Barresi represented the LaMarques in an attempt to sell their story to tabloid media outlets, Mesereau said.

LeMarque admitted at the trial that he tried to make money from his story, even meeting with Barresi, who promised him $100,000 from the tabloid press, maybe more if the story were dirtier.

“He began to make the story more and more graphic as the price went up,” Mesereau said, referring to Phillip LaMarque.

“Was it true that the broker told him the payoff might be higher if Mr. Jackson’s hand was inside Culkin’s pants?” Mesereau asked during cross examination.
“That’s what he said,” LeMarque said.

Barresi discussed his deal with the LaMarques in an interview for a PBS “Frontline” documentary in 1994.

“My interest in helping them was that they promised me a percentage of what they made,” Baressi said. “I was not on any kind of crusade to bring anyone to justice. Whether Michael was guilty or innocent at that point was inconsequential. My interest was strictly for the money, as was theirs, I might add.”

Why would the FBI need Victor to tell them about an investigation into MJ they’d done in the 80s? It was a lie, it was Victor’s way to try and create some kind of evidence for the lies he was telling to people and to make himself sound like an informant. It would seem even possible he believed just someone calling in to say such a thing would mean it would go down into MJ’s permanent record as being true.

“Did they hear of any allegations against him before their investigations upon the 93 incident? Or were all their investigations based on the allegations that followed in 93, which they effectively debunked, for example, the two Mexican boys in 1984?” – newrodrigo

If Gutierrez was their informant (and he most probably was from the summary of the facts) he said that he had been following Michael for several years before the Chandler case – at least for three years if I remember it right. So this takes us to 1990. The NAMBLA conference he was an attendee of was in November 1986, so somewhere in between those dates he started on his “mission”.

It could be possible that FBI really suspected MJ of some wrongdoing and relied on Gutierrez’s “help”. But relying on the help of people like Gutierrez is a double-edged sword – their perverted mind interpretes things in a very specific way. Add to it that Gutierrez had an agenda of his own to pull Michael into their class and use him as a poster boy as ped-les at that conference wanted to (he spoke about it in an interview).

And add to it the fact that Gutierrez is a pathological liar. Now I’ve included into this post some more details about Gutierrez, for example an episode from his biography found by our author MOA.

When Gutierrez was still at school a writer who lived near by asked him to read his book and summarize it (in educational purposes), and was horrified to receive in return a product which had nothing to do with the original:

    “When he read the summary he was almost horrified. He told me: this is longer than my story! And you have added new characters to the book! Probably, you’re going to be a writer or a journalist.” http://diario.elmercurio.com/detalle/index.asp?id={97781fbc-0b34-4aaf-aa9d-fba6d6edfd0d}

Can you imagine a summary longer than the book and containing new characters? Is this person suitable for a reliable informant?

As usual Gutierrez is his own worst enemy and is describing this episode himself [in Reportajes, 1996]. He is bragging about his talent of a story-teller, and if you add to this talent his pedophilia inclinations you will get the idea of what his reports about MJ were or could be like.

I think that when FBI agents received all that stuff they checked everything back in time down to Michael’s early years, but found no confirmation. We know about it firstly, from the fact that nothing was used at the 2005 trial and secondly, from Gutierrez himself. You should listen to his bitter complaints voiced at some point – “no one takes him seriously but everyone uses his findings”.

On Chilean TV he was speaking with much pride that Tom Sneddon subpoenaed him to the 2005 trial, but as you know even these Gutierrez’s hopes did not come true.

When you read him he sounds offended and like “all of them are stealing his fame”. He desperately wants to be world famous and was even planning to turn his book into a film, only it was not realized for some reason.

“I gave my opinion on what I think could be or not be effective and why not, but It is not my intention to discourage anyone who wants to sign a petition or do whatever they think is the right thing to do.” – Sina

Yes, everyone can do what he thinks best – write a petition, or just place it as an appeal to the general public, or talk to people explaining things – all this can be done as long as it is prompted by people’s conscience.

Today I understood one important thing. I think I know why they were harassing Michael and why FBI was after him all his life, and why so many forces in the society wanted to bring him down.

It is because people like him are dangerous to public order.

Yesterday when I was answering you I realized that you were talking from the position of what the law says, and I am talking from the position of what a human conscience says. These are two absolutely different things.

Human laws are written by people whose understanding of what is good and what is bad depends on the century they live in. What was law in Ancient Rome with its gladiators’ fights and lions devouring people on the arena and everyone applauding to it is no longer valid for us living in the 21st century. Laws change as human beings evolve in their ascending from the level of animals they used to be before.

However at all times there was one built-in law in humans – their conscience, something which does not occur in the animal world and which makes us so different. I think that human conscience is the law of God within our souls. People don’t understand why it is wrong to do this and that, but they still know that it is wrong. Human laws even allow you to do it, but your conscience does not.

Placing the law of human conscience above human laws has always been considered a very dangerous trend, because these people are rebels and a danger to the current social order. It actually started with the first Christians who defied the cruel laws of Ancient Rome and this is why they were so relentlessly persecuted – they had the audacity to be abhorred by the routine cruelty and depravity in which Ancient Rome was living though it was perfectly okay by the then laws. The first Christians did not protest or fight, but they showed their disapproval and that was already enough for throwing them to the lions.

Similarly no government now would be happy if their citizen placed the law of God above the law of humans. Because a soldier thinking that way may drop his weapons if he sees the military order given to him as a criminal one. Neither your nor my government will allow ideas like that to take the upper hand in the society.

This is why they were fighting Michael so relentlessly – they were afraid of his ideas and of the power of his appeal. When some hermit is saying the same and no one knows about it, no one touches him as no one really knows his ideas. But Michael had the power, the appeal and a huge determination to change things, and the more popular he was getting the more dangerous they regarded him to be.

Michael was appealing to humans at a very deep soul-searching level – look into yourself and defy what is commonly accepted if your conscience tells you that it is wrong.

I perfectly understand this message and therefore see that what the tabloid press is doing now as murderous and criminal even though some “laws” say that it is okay. Michael would say exactly the same. Actually he did when he was writing Tabloid Junkie and all the rest of his songs.

Are we a danger to the current world order? Yes we are, though all we want to do is trying to live by the law of God in our souls.

After watching the Frontline special again, I am reminded that the tabloid world is clearly able to operate with impunity due to the manner in which they craft each story. It is doubtful that a petition will have any real effect on what is happening in the media today. Whether this is a clevely plotted plan to affect the AEG trial proceedings, or to simply keep the pot of ugly rumor boiling since Robson’s suit, the appalling result is that Michael’s children must suffer and it is nothing short of unconscionable. For all intents and purposes, it is child abuse. As for the AEG trial, the evidence presented so far to the jury is pretty damning, regardless if MJ chose Murray as his physician. Unless their defense has some really shocking (and yet to be revealed information), in the eye of an indifferent bystander, AEG is culpable. Bombarding the FBI to respond to these inaccurate revelations probably won’t have an effect. They are not the kind of organization that is beholding to the public. They have nothing to gain by taking a stand in this issue. It is encumbent on the non-mainstream media to critically examine these claims and do some serious fact checking. It is quite distressing to see some outlets (e.g., New York Daily News) run this story. This is what news has become in America.

I’m glad to see that Tom Mesereau made a statement to the media, but media outlets must resist the temptation to pander in salacious lies to gain ratings and viewers/readers.

Someone here made a comment about Michael’s trouble began when he got sucked up into the Hollywood scene. I think it goes back farther than that. His trouble began when his fame turned him into an industry. He could never again be a normal person. He was a prisoner of his fame. Trust became a word he found only in the dictionary. How in the world does one function if he/she cannot trust anyone?

Putting hope in the possibility that Jordan Chandler will one day come forward and tell the truth is true folly. I believe he is no longer Jordan Chandler. He is someone else. He probably underwent some kind of pyschological treatment (similar to spies and double-agents) that helped him create a new identity. The truth will die with him.

One final observation….I really don’t know how Michael Jackson managed to get up every morning and put one foot in front of the other.

I wouldn’t be at all surprised if the UK tabloids are making a mockery.

35 Million US dollars in UK currency is roughly over 22 million

20 million for the Chandler’s and 2 million for the Francia’s.

24 families? The ones that were debunked at some point?

I guess paranoia is common when these weasels are out for Michael’s blood.

it is not a text for the petition; just a draft that I propose for the journalist who will accept to say something. you may have to turn it in a more proper english, and you can erase, scratch, add, substract whatever you want. Not sure about the conclusion though.

“Some U.K tabloids have launched a new smear campaign against Michael Jackson, apparently based on so-called files obtained at the FBI offices. Media around the world avidly support this campaign too. Strangely enough, it coincides with a time when the singer’s mother and his children are facing the “ This is It” Tour promoter, AEG Live, at the Court, accusing the corporation of not having made a proper background check on Dr Conrad Murray, the singer’s doctor, thus causing indirectly Jackson’s death.

Revealing files from the FBI well-guarded offices have been leaked to the tabloid press. These so-called FBI files say they incriminate the deceased artist, assuring that he has paid $35 million to 24 families in exchange of their silence over the abuses of their children. 24 families or rather 24 children who, according to the press, have been sexually abused by Michael Jackson! A high figure indeed that makes you raise your eyebrows,

Back in 2005, when the singer was accused of child molestation, his property, Neverlands, was raided by no less than 10 sheriffs of the Santa Barbara County, along with FBI agents, and the prosecutor, XXX, in search of THE proof that would have sent the singer straight to jail. For months, hundreds of investigators were sent out to ask questions around, to quiz everyone who had approached Jackson, close or far. From Neverland, the police , the FBI and the prosecution removed and examined thousands and thousands of documents susceptible to make him fall. Yet,they found nothing. Michael Jackson was cleared of all charges, and innocent man.

Now, why, 4 years after his death, a huge file from the FBI mysteriously lands on the desk of a newspaper, at a critical moment of the ongoing trial.

They are just trying to reproduce a Jimmy Savile story.”

“I’d love to know what is the role of the Michael Jackson estate in all of this.” – Elaine

In the so-called ‘FBI files’? None at all.

In the case of all these accusations, from Wade Robson in the first place, they are in a position of a defendant as he actually wants money from them. And if Robson has at least some minimal success tomorrow there will be a thousand-strong crowd demanding payments from the Estate also for some fictitious ‘abuse’.

The only side interested in draining the Estate of money is AEG because if the Estate has no money it will tell on Katherine Jackson and Michael’s children and it is them whom AEG wants to suffer most.

So in this play of interests the Estate is absolutely out of the game.

“Ultimately what do we want to achieve here? the present and future health and mental sanity protection of MJ”s children and mother.” – bluefenix03

The mental sanity and protection of Michael’s children is impossible unless people themselves set a certain limit to what they do – up to this point I can go, but past that point I cannot. Each person should say it to him/herself. Only this can be the first step to recovery. And no clamoring can help here as this is the work done inside a human soul.

“Sina, you may be right to say that petitioning to demand that the FBI releases a public statement on those so-called leaked incriminating files, may lead to nowhere.”

Well, you know better whether it can lead somewhere or nowhere – so you decide.

There is a need to make noise and counter attack these spreading lies by these tabloids. First of all, strategically, we need to focus on one message, only one, in order not to confuse people; All of us must define what will be that message we want to pass to the general public?

This message is very easy. If the FBI scrutinized Michael for decades and has a huge file on him, but did not provide any materials to the 2005 trial, it means that they had nothing incriminating on Michael. So whatever papers the tabloids are waving in the air now they are simple lies.

For a quick win its best to focus on the truthfulness of the article and the sources and fight the media with their own weapon: in the media.- Sina

Yes, leaving comments is a great tool and those who can please do it.

“As horrible as it is for children they are not responsible for what their parents do or are.”

Children are not responsible for their parents, and parents are not responsible for the lies told about them by the dirty media. But the media IS and SHOULD be responsible for the horrible lies they tell. What the media is saying now about Michael (LeMarques, etc.) has been examined and re-examined a hundred times in the 90s and during the 2005 trial, and calling it “new FBI files” is a blatant LIE. However they are perfectly getting away with it, though the effect all of it has on Michael’s children is disastrous.

If the media (of the public responding ot it) says about a certain man that he “f***s children in the ass” and his own children have to listen to it day in day out, it will be the media and this public with perveted minds who will be responsible for the children’s inevitable break-down, ruined childhood, destroyed nervous system, emotional disbalance and everything else that results from it.

And it is not freedom of speech – it is freedom to kill. Murderers are not allowed to openly kill anyone in the street because there are certain rules of behavior, while for those who murder with their pens and tongues there are no rules. Usually human conscience serves as a brake in such cases but with these people it does not work for some reason.

If Michael was indeed guilty of anything alledged in the article, the emotional and mental state of his children would not be a ground to not report about it. It happens every day and there is no law against it.

Yes, it happens every day and this is why we live in the world we live in. If Michael was indeed guilty of something there should be proof of it in the first place. And I don’t see any proof here – only bla-bla-bla that kills.

“We also have to be carefull because we cannot say as a matter of fact that the media crap is the cause of any health problems the children or their grandma may suffer. I believe it is,but its an assumption and not a proven fact. It would border to invasion of privacy to make a statement about someones mental well being that we are not privy to.”

It is not a proven fact? What’s the matter with you, guys? What has desensitized you so much that you don’t realize the simplest of the cause-effect chains? If someone bullies your children day and night what proof do you need to finally realize that these bullies are responsible for causing great emotional harm to your children?

This is exactly what Michael was always talking about! RESPONSIBILITY for each of your actions. THINKING TWICE before you say or do something that may traumatize a child. This is why he couldn’t help crying bitter tears each time he heard a parent screaming at a child. This is why he was shielding children from the scenes of cruelty and bloodshed. And now half the media is slaughtering him in the eyes of his children and you doubt whether it can cause any trauma to them? It is “invasion of their privacy”?

Well, I’ll tell you what. It has ALREADY caused a great trauma to them. Their life will never be the same. Their nervous system will never be the same. Their sweet personalities formed in the atmosphere of love in which Michael was raising them will never be the same. This experience has already left a terrible mark on them, especially considering the contrast between the ideal world of their early childhood and the lies, hate and brutality they are facing now. The media, Robson and whoever is standing behind them have already abused these children in the most cruel and ruthless manner possible and saying that it is okay to do it because there is no special regulation in law on how to react to it does not make it much better.

“Also we cannot stop WR and his lawyer to make their mediarounds. We can only hope that it backfires on their case. Only a loser of a lawyer depends on tabloid fodder to make his case.’

No, we cannot stop them from doing it. But I wish someone could explain to me why it is so essential to rip someone apart in the media first before winning or losing the case in court.

“What do you think about J. Vogel or C. Thomson?” – Nicoletta

The fact that I’ve just included their articles in the VOICE OF REASON page speaks for itself. The page is already in the main menu. This is the short comment I’ve made preceding their articles:

The VOICE OF REASON 2013 is a place I invite everyone to, especially if you’ve just been wasting your time to the TRASH BIN page.

This is a place for individual journalists and not just their papers. The whole paper may be lying like crazy, however even amidst all its madness you will occasionally hear the voice of reason, honesty and truth.

This page will probably have fewer entries but the value of each entry is incomparable even with a hundred of them on the Tabloid page – because no amount of lies can outweigh a single morsel of truth. Truth and honesty require courage, and this is a merit of the highest possible value.

You will probably be surprised but I am also including there two articles by Roger Friedman. I know that some of his articles leave much to be desired but those made around the time of the 2005 trial were excellent, and his latest two are in support of the truth.

A recent article from Radar Online about Thomas Mesereau’s opinion of the Wade Robson case is also included into that page. It isn’t the name of the paper that matters, it is the individual journalist that matters. I hear that there was a time when Charles Thomson also worked for the Sun.

P.S. Let me also add that Vogel and Thomson are the journalists whom I respect very much and will respect no matter what they say. They do their own research, they say what they think and not what they are told, they stand for the truth and are courageous enough to go against the general trend of journalism without conscience and ethics, and all this in addition to their brilliant style – there is a whole lot to respect them for!

    Don’t you feel the same?

The second piece of news is this. I removed most of the extremely outdated stories which were in the menu of this blog (on the top right under the picture of Michael with Vindicating Michael run over it) and added there a new page called “NEWS FROM THE FRONT”.

Over there you will find Wade Robson’s claim against the estate as a pdf file. Click on the link and it will open as a separate document.

It is always better to read the original document than its recitals on Radar Online or other imbecile press.

If you have any other documents which will be necessary for us to know in this war of TRUTH vs. LIES please send them to me – in the comments or via Contact me page, whichever way you like. My only request is that the document should preferably be in a pdf form as otherwise it will not paste into the blog.

Another request to my readers – if anyone knows of a good and quick service of turning word documents into pdf files (and back) please provide me with a link. My computer for some reason does not have this function and I have to use outside services. Some are very slow and have limitations. Yesterday I downloaded some converting word-into-pdf programs to my computer and spent the rest of the day cleaning it of viruses as a result.

I would like to post some more pdf files into the NEWS FROM THE FRONT page. In the meantime please read Wade Robson’s lawsuit. To me it looks like a complete soap opera with torrents of fake tears shed over this fictious drama.

For a quick win its best to focus on the truthfulness of the article and the sources and fight the media with their own weapon: in the media.
The connection between AEG/Murdoch and KJs case takes time to research and we have to stick to fairness and truth to keep our credibility, despite the red flags .
As horrible as it is for children they are not responsible for what their parents do or are.

I think the best is to expose in the media the facts behind the article and their sources and suggest that because it is a lie it may have an effect on the children.
We can try to find a respected journalist to write about it in the mainstream media.
Since there are hardly journalists who take the time to research, the best is to offer it to them on a silver platter .well documented and with all the sources, so they only have to publish it and take the credit.
That is if they have the guts to do it, since Murdoch still owns most of the media.

    Hi everyone,
Ultimately what do we want to achieve here? the present and future health and mental sanity protection of MJ”s children and mother.
Sina, you may be right to say that petitioning to demand that the FBI releases a public statement on those so-called leaked incriminating files, may lead to nowhere.
You are also right when you say we can join HB’s fight against paparazzi harassment on children; we can certainly add our voice to hers, but it is, to my view, a more general and long term move; by the time the law passes, the AEG trial would have reached its conclusions and the damages on children and mother done for good.
There is a need to make noise and counter attack these spreading lies by these tabloids.
First of all, strategically, we need to focus on one message, only one, in order not to confuse people; All of us must define what will be that message we want to pass to the general public?
then, we can determine the possible strategic steps and venues to pass that message, with our little means, and when?
In my opinion, we must be able to demonstrate that the succession of those tabloids articles, in the last two months, is not accidental at all, and strings are arranged and pulled from behind the curtains by we know who ( vested interests between AEG and Murdoch newsgroup?) to influence the trial conclusion. what do you think?
I found T. Mesereau’s email, so I can ask him the legalitly of passing such a message.
Yes, truth will prevail, but we, MJ fans, must help pushing for it. at least, we should try on MJ and his children and mother’s names.

    Shall we?

Not do be a downer , but I dont think the FBI will respond to a petition to release files or any petition just because a tabloid ALLEDGED that they exist or were part of the investigation.
There are many reasons that have to do with territory, the nature of the FBI and the delicacy of their operations.
They have already released the parts of the investigative files of Michael that they were obliged to release based on the Freedom of Information Act.
Anything else especially if there is mention of other parties than Michael Jackson will not be released or responded to, for the reason that they have to protect these people’s privacy and their own modus operandi.
There is also the WR case filed and his lawyer is abusing this tabloid fodder.
The FBI will collect everything and anything that is relevant to a case even tabloid articles. But the fact that these were never used as evidence against Michael Jackson means that either they don’t exist or were not of any value in the case. And the so called informants like the Lemarques and other staff were crushed on the stand.
T Mesereau has already debunked their claim and he is the most knowledgeable in this case.

I think before launching any campaign it is good to ask legal advice. Did anyone ask Mesereau what the chances are that the FBI will even respond to such a request. They didn’t respond to a media request , which is the institution that has the authority to ask. The tabloids know very well what they are doing and why they can get away with it . They know the FBI will never respond because that will mean dignifying their dirt.
They also have lawyers who will have advised them .
The fact that another version of this same story was already publicized while Michael was alive and even he couldn’t effectively stop it says enough.
Also by the time there are enough signatures to a petition ,the story has died down and we can wait for the next attack. It is disgusting, its defamation of a deceased and emotional abuse of minors.
But it is better to look for options that will work and have a wider support than only MJ fans.

Why not join Hally Berries bill to protect children from paparazzi harassment and extend it to emotional abuse.
    http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/video/halle-berry-children-focus-stars-fight-paparazzi-change-19492186
Or the Cadeflaw anti defamation law.
The quickest response Imo is to buy a page or an advertorial in a big newspaper and give the factual information. It is expensive, but it the only thing we can do now that will have some impact.

Mr Mesereau , who has already debunked Wade Robson’s FBI files claims, to my mind,is the most qualified person, to present before the world the fallacy of such claims. He is the legal expert can effectively bring out the nuances of the child molestation case like no one else can. He has of course stated on Radar Online that: The FBI never had any files alleging that Michael Jackson had sexually abused 24 young boys, because it never happened.” Every commoner should be made to see how it never happened, and Mr. Mesereau can do it better than any one.

It has already been said that the FBI-files do not contain anything pointing to child s.ab. in MJ´s case. Now I do´t know who exactly made this statement. Maybe FBI has it´s hands full with leaked info and don´t think they need to involve themselves with this anymore. I think the request should be made on behalf of child protective agencies.

-The public needs to be informed re Victor Gutirrez, his past and present interests, and of NAMBLA. Why nothing on this? Instead the stories go back to over 20 y.old info. Hmm.. just to entertain and remind the public? There are many wars and bloody conflicts, maybe they think this will be light entertainment. Well it is not. One MJ child is hospitalised and someone mentioned they are trying to kill the mother, KJ. How much stress can she take? At least a high-upqualified FBI officer should make a public statement.

-And I am pretty sure who is behind this. They think this will save them money.

-That article by Chilean journalist, Navarro was his name I think, it was translated for this blog. It should be printed in UK and US papers. I am pretty sure he will give permission.

    Wade Robson

    Macaulay Culkin
Jordy Chandler (we already know his false story on what happened)

“Sorry, I’m french, so my english may not be that good. The idea is to gather a maximum of people to sign for it; what do you think?” – bluefenix03

I think that A PETITION IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST, only my text cannot be a sample for it.

It was an appeal to the FBI to be humans and once in their life recollect that all that “security” is meant for people and not the other way about. And that if they allow three children to be slaughtered by some sewage papers and do not interfere they will actually not be fulfilling their direct duties.

If someone writes a petition this is what I see as the most important points there:

    – just as you said, some U.K tabloids have launched a new smear campaign against Michael Jackson, apparently based on so-called files obtained at the FBI offices. The campaign is avidly supported by some US media too

    – the newspapers claim that numerous children were abused and payments were made, and since the files allegedly come from the FBI it means that the FBI knew about it

    – in case the above is true the public wants to know why the FBI failed to take action and did not disclose the information in due time, for example, during the 2005 trial

    – in case it is not true the public wants the FBI to clearly state that the above allegations are a terrible and malicious lie.

If the FBI were the ones who allowed the leak to take place they are responsible for it and therefore are obliged to clarify.

If there was no leak from the FBI and the documents have nothing to do with them it is also their moral obligation on to clearly state it.

The reason why it is their moral obligation is because the health, well-being and sanity of three innocent and helpless children of the man smeared in the press is in great jeopardy, and not taking action in the circumstances would be equivalent to denying the children help at the moment when they need it most.

In short it would be equivalent to extreme cruelty and child abuse proper, i.e. to a crime. And this crime can be easily prevented by the FBI as they have all the necessary documentation already collected and no special investigation is required.

All that is required of them is to TELL THE TRUTH.

In fact I think that all sections of the society should be interested in such a petition and sign it whether they are fans or non-fans of Michael Jackson.

P.S. I’ve added these outlines to the post too. Please could someone use the above for making a petition and wording it properly (probably more politely)? I am so infuriated and so concerned that I cannot hold myself.

Helena, it takes time and energy to write, call and contact people from FBI, and not everyone has free time, but maybe we could just write an online petition, with the text you have written above (I added an intro), and send it to them?

    ” Dear FBI,

Recently, some U.K tabloids have launched a new smear campaign on Michael Jackson, apparently based on so-called files obtained at your offices. This happens in the midst of a trial opposing the singer’s mother and his young children to a big corporate, which is already taking a toll on them.

Just save Michael Jackson’s children, please.”

    Sorry, I’m french, so my english may not be that good. The idea is to gather a maximum of people to sign for it;

    what do you think?

“Imo the idea is to kill the old mother. No mother no AEG case.” – Sina

Quite possible too. All of it is sheer murder pretending to be legal in form and entertaining in its essence for the masses. And no one – NO ONE – is thinking of Michael’s children who are slaughtered right in front of everyone’s eyes.

    What hypocrisy. What INCREDIBLE hypocrisy.

And all this is done in the name of some ficticious “child victims” like Wade Robson? Who lived 30 years of his life and suddenly recalled that he was molested for 7 years? And he recalled it just at the time when it became clear that the Jacksons case would be going to court? And the case was broken on the masses right on the day of opening hearing at the trial? Come on.

I’ve read Robson’s lawsuit. It is a story for imbeciles. “He molested me every day since the age of 7 and I realized it only in March last year”. Oh my God…

“There are ‘fans’ who have openly entertained the idea , who have literally wished her dead and who are actively and openly supporting AEG and providing them with their theories and ‘facts’.”

Fans? The internet is filled to the brim with AEG supporters. They are in every forum and speak all languages. And thousands of people listen to them instead of thinking for themselves or trying to do at least some minimal research.

“I hope Michaels children will take good notice who is supporting them and who is actively working against them.”

Sina, now Michael’s children are not even in a position to see who is supporting them and who is not. With so much filth around them they are on the verge of a total collapse and it is simply a matter of survival for them.

I truly think that with the amount of dirt poured on their father – who was their only shining star in life – their whole world is collapsing. The health and sanity of the children is in grave danger now.

If what we heard for the past several months was “simple dirt”, now those who are doing all this against Michael, his children and his mother are standing knee deep in blood.

    “american cannibalism” -mjjyo

Mjjyo, you know that I usually refrain from any assessments, but this time I think you are right. If it were not for individual people with conscience who are there too and are valiantly fighting the cannibals I would consider the place hopeless. The best way for Michael’s children would be to leave the country for good and forget about it for the rest of their lives. I think in Japan they will be met with open arms. Or Michael wanted to settle in South Africa, as far as I remember.

These beasts simply use Michael and his children as fodder for their existence. And some are also hoping to see total annihilation of everything and everyone connected with Jackson. Why wait for it? Why fight with these beasts? Just leave them and let them devour each other. I wonder what tabloids will do without Jackson. They will simply die of hunger for lack of anything to talk about. They will probably start going after ordinary people and it is only then that they will understand what a monster they were so tenderly grooming.

I hope Katherine Jackson wins the case against AEG and will have all the money in the world to send the children away from this rotten place. And not to Britain either. Can of worms as they are proving it themselves.

Hi Helena thank u so much for this blog

Michael has got lots of enemies some well known some not ,very powerful ones ready to do what ever it s take to destroy his legacy doesn’t t matter who they hurt in the process; even in death they don t want to give him peace.
I wonder why the FBI does not react!!!
    And the estate
Imagine the kids and miss KJ and the all Jackson family how they must feel!!!

All this smear campaign have perfect timing ( the trial AEG) before that when the Jackson claimed the will was fake the tabloids were at it again ( Janet had… Paris) everything to turn the public agains them.

Who is controlling the media???who all this benefit???

Tina, the more I look at it, the more I realize that in the near future Jordan Chandler will not speak up. There are so powerful forces at play that even if he had some conscience left he would be in a total terror to speak.

There are ‘fans’ who have openly entertained the idea , who have literally wished her dead and who are actively and openly supporting AEG and providing them with their theories and ‘facts’.
So its not a stretch that AEG will give it a try.
I hope Michaels children will take good notice who is supporting them and who is actively working against them.

The sabotage of Michael came from within.
VG is one , but in Michaels inner circle there are close ‘friends’ who have been informants for Chandler about Michael.
Carry Fisher is one of them and I have no doubt there are others.
Michael was trapped the day he engaged with Hollywood.

I agree, VMJ, that it is VG who gave DD in 1993 the fat stack of file folders and gave her ammunition so, with her media access, she could become such a relentless attacker of MJ: she says in Tabloid Truth, “I saw the extremely graphic detailed narrative of this child. Right down to the sexual acts.” Now I am not sure of the date here but it is probably very soon after the allegations were leaked in late August 93, so how could VG come up so soon with this graphic narrative of sexual acts regarding the alleged love relationship between MJ and Jordan, unless he was writing them himself (as his own fantasies) and would later put them in his book? Or unless he was involved in constructing them together with Evan?

There was another interview on Chilean TV where VG says he was working undercover (as an informant) with the newly created Child Sex Crimes Unit of the LAPD. And it was there he got the list of suspected famous pedophiles. As a Latino who also spoke good English, and a free-lance investigator/journalist perhaps he convinced the LAPD to pay him for investigating their list, esp. of course focusing on MJ. That would explain why they called him to be interviewed first and why he had sent them a copy of his ms, which later became his book. If they were paying him (as well as NAMBLA) it would explain how he supported himself during a long stay in USA, starting in 1986. Maureen Orth mentions in an article in Vanity Fair ( I think in April, 02) that Sneddon’s prosecution team had read VG’s book and thought it was believable.

Another point is that VG talked to Joy Robson in June 1992 (and he actually did b/c it was verified in Jermaine’s book that Joy related this meeting to MJ). He says he gave her a lot of info about his ‘investigations’: “She silently listened as I told her about the cases involving other young boys and about the several statements made in Hollywood about Jackson’s sexual preferences for boys. I gave details about how he went about persuading minors. She paid more attention when I told her about Jackson’s employees, who had seen Jackson with her son in compromising positions. She continued to listen attentively and without interruption.”

I think this is significant re the allegations Wade has now made b/c he says he never realized that he was being sexual abused til recently, yet supposedly if VG told Joy in detail his claims of how MJ operated, etc, then Joy was aware of this and would have talked to her son about it–right? How could she not have talked to him about it after that conversation in which she listened attentively to VG? How could she not have had suspicions from that point, at least to consider the possibility? How can Wade say he was ignorant altho’ he claims he was abused since 1990. VG told Joy of his filthy lies in 1990 yet Wade says he never thought of this til 2012?

P.S Could you change the translation a bit for the Chilean newspaper–“Jackson demanded it” should read “Jackson sued him.” (it is a legal term–‘demandar’– that I mistranslated).

“In addition, how can these people be so sick and come up with all these ‘fantasies’ they claim MJ participated in? They have complete disregard for the issue of child abuse! They are the sick ones imagining these things! They are the real pedop-s!”

I feelings as well. I had asked in the past to imagine how all the children who were questioned felt when they were introduced to images not known to them before. How many came to have an askew perception of what normally took place btw adults due to attempt to make them see and associate one thing with something totally different. They were the child molesters.

Nicoletta, from the point of view of promotion I am almost hopeless, as I have no time and energy for a thing like that. But I will be very grateful if those who support my point of view do everything they can to get an effective response from the FBI.

Our utmost goal now should be Michael’s children. They should be protected by all available means.
